Sunset Beach house description
We have owned and rented this home for more than 20 years. It is in one of the most convenient locations to access the beach, the fishing pier and the island stores on foot by all ages. The close proximity to the beach is a plus for families with children as the walk with all of the beach paraphernalia is not a long one.
The house is kept updated and is bright and cheery. We take great pride in keeping it clean, neat and up to date and making sure that everything is in working order. We try to make one significant upgrade or improvement every year and have been fortunate with many repeat renters.
Our family frequently uses the property which also helps ensure the home is kept in very good condition.
The screened front porch is one of our favorite places to enjoy the first cup of coffee in the morning while reading the paper or to enjoy a drink or glass of wine in the evening while having a great conversation. The back deck allows for sunning or a private place to read a book or catch an afternoon nap.
The outdoor permanent grilling area in the rear of the home makes it easy to cook out with minimal mess and hassle and is convenient to the steps leading directly into the kitchen.
The sleeping arrangements are as follows;
Bedroom 1 - Full size and a single
Bedroom 2 - twin over full bunk + twin trundle
Bedroom 3 - Queen size
Bedroom 4 - Queen
The pullout couch is also a sleeper/queen

My family stayed for a long weekend in August 2010. We had a great time - loved the location of the house. Could walk to the store, the beach, and the pier. Can't wait to visit again this year!

About the owner: We have owned this house since 1990 and bought it when our three children were small. They have been raised with vacations at Sunset Beach and now bring our 3 grandchildren to have the same beach experience they did. The summer sand and sun and the brisk fall days have mad many memories for our family. We live in Asheboro NC and use the house as much as we can while sharing it with others when we cannot.

We chose Sunset Beach because of its unique family oriented environment and convenience to other attractions such as golfing, restaurants, entertainment and shopping.

The island is peaceful and has minimal commercial influence with the exception of the island market and a few small stores. It is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. It is also convenient to over 20 very nice and challenging golf courses (including Ocean Ridge - Lions Paw, Tigers Eye, Panthers Run & Leopards Chase courses, Thistle (3 9 holes courses), Crow Creek, Sea Trail - Maples, Jones and Byrd courses, Pearl (East and West), Oyster Bay, Sandpiper Bay, and Brunswick Plantation (3 nine holes courses) etc...) and only 30 minutes from Restaurant Row in North Myrtle Beach.
