Lau Hale is a private ocean front cottage situated at the far end of the very desirable community of Lanikai, Hawaii. The cottage is gated and far removed from the very pleasant and popular bicycle, jogging and walking path that encircles the area and that is frequented by many of the local residents. Lanikai is a tropical, laid-back area described in Conde Nast as having "simply one of the World's best beaches" and is listed as one of among only forty nationally ranked healthy beaches. It is conveniently located with easy access to the many tourist driven areas such as Waikiki, downtown Honolulu, Hanauma Bay, and the North Shore.

Lau Hale is a fully furnished two bedroom, two bathroom cottage with a stunning view of the Mokulua Islands. The yard stretches out to a private jetty with a stairway to the water. Early mornings at low tide period will show white sand on the shoreline. During high tide periods, the water line will be three to four feet higher, still allowing for leisurely swims, fishing, or kayaking. Lanikai Beach may also be accessed by walking through several public right of ways.

The cottage has two good sized bedrooms which sleep four. The master bedroom has windows on two sides, with breathtaking views of the ocean. Bedroom two has twin beds and windows that allow sunshine and fresh, tropical breezes. Each bedroom has its own separate bathroom.

The living room and the dining area are tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture from Thailand and Bali. The kitchen is wide open and spacious. All three areas flow together to face sliding glass doors that open out to a picture pretty patio and the ocean.

For guest convenience, there is a private bathroom enclosed on the side of the cottage that will allow you to shower and change after swimming without entering the house.
