  Everything was fantastic! Clean and comfortable. Plenty of space away from each other when needed. The dock is wonderful! The only downfall was the water in the cove is only about knee deep. The water depth was disclosed in the rental agreement, I just didn't pay attention. I must also say that because the water is shallow the bird watching is unbelievable, even the kids were blown away with the Hawk fishing the cove, Crane and Herrin, BEAUTIFUL! Can make swimming a little tough, but it can be worked around and I strongly recommend the property, WE HAD A BLAST!

  A very nice family vacation spent at this great home. Home was clean with plenty of room. Five grandkids ages from 4 - 12 enjoyed lots of fishing from the dock, all five catching fish although small. Evenings were spent on the dock, or porch. The kids enjoyed playing games, watching movies in the large basement area. Very relaxing vacation with lots of family fun. I would recommend bringing your own drinking water and extra towels. I would highly recommend this property!

  "Best Bang for your Buck " was the solution for our family .... The house was very clean when we arrived. The space was incredible ... the teenage boys loved the games downstairs and the dock. Fishing on the dock was enjoyable although we did not catch anything .... I recommend bringing your own towels, there were few bath towels and the ones that were there appeared old. I actually went to Walmart and bought 2 bath towels to use while I was there. That being said my only complaint we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house very much. The owner of the rental was great with any questions I had and contacted me quickly with answers. The pictures he posted were very accurate as to what we found when we arrived.

  The listing couldn't be more accurate!! The home is modern, the furnishings are lovely, the allover decor is beautiful and it was immaculately clean. I think everyone in our group would highly recommend this home!! We had a group of 5 adults and we were very comfortable and enjoyed an extremely relaxing weekend on this secluded cove in Lake Wateree. The back yard was large and there is plenty of room for yard games as well as areas in the shade for those of us that were not sun lovers.We loved the covered sitting area at the dock! The microwave, mini refrigerator and grill made it the perfect place to hang out during the day and enjoy the cove! I hope to be contacting you soon to rebook!   We had a great time while staying at the Best Bang for Your Buck home. There were a couple of problems that were beyond the owners control. We had a really bad rain and the basement flooded. We were lucky to get out personal belongs up before they were destroyed by the water. The part of the lake that the house sits on is very shallow but we made the best of it. If we would have had a boat or jet ski we would have been better off. We fished, floated and had a good time. The closest stores were at least 30 miles away so traveling back and forth to Wal-Mart was an adventure. The house had lots of room for all 9 of us, everyone had a place to sleep, no one on the floor. All in all we ended up haveing a really good vacation.

  Our family of 8 adults and 2 babies plus our puppies had a great time last week. The house was very clean and roomey for us all. We did a little fishing, and cought a 15lb garr and a couple of catfish off the dock at night. The weather was great all week. The swimming out in front turned out to be nice. My puppy and I did a lot of floting on our rafts. We had 3 boats and a jetski for 4riders and had lots of room to tie up at the dock. The dock house was great, the frig there help for drinks and baby bottles. The chairs were nice also. Mrs. Marge next door was very nice and helpful. You have a GREAT place and we look forward to renting again. Thank you and may God Bless you always.

  Tom, We had a great time at your lake house, enjoyed the covered dock which most of our time was spent, great view. We did some fishing my son was pleased with his 7lb Largemouth Bass, I had cought two bass they both were 2lbs a piece and he rubbed it in all week, also cought some good size catfish. Your home is wonderful very spacious is a understaement. Thanks for a great week

  The listing accurately describes this property. All amenities are updated; the decor is pleasant; and the house is perfectly clean. The owner is very responsive as well. Highly recommended! Our family of 8 adults and 2 kids spent Labor Day weekend here. We were very comfortable and enjoyed an extremely relaxing weekend on this secluded cove in Lake Wateree. The house and dock are both great! The house is large enough that we could all enjoy being inside together to eat and play. The yard is well-manicured, and the back especially is large with lots of grass and shade. We especially enjoyed swimming and fishing in the quiet, peaceful cove. The dock is covered and includes a gas grill (a second gas grill is at the house), a mini fridge and a microwave! It's these small attentions to detail that made staying here such a wonderful experience! We plan to go back! Thanks for the memories!

  We have rented several properties on VRBO, and this home is definately at the top of our list!!! The layout of the home is excellent for multiple couples/families or families with kids of all ages. Even through 2 days of rain, we were not cramped or run over by kids. The basement is ground level lakeside and is equiped with a Bedroom, Living Room/Game Room, kitchen and bath. My teens were busy with the games while my youngest and her smaller cousins completed puzzles, played cards/boardgames, or watched a movie out of the extensive library. My father made several comments that week about needing to build a "Dungeon" at his house too. You would have to know Dad, loves kids... hates noise. The dock is very versatile. During the day the adults would sit under the covered portion watching the kids splash around on the beach. At night we would set up Catfish lines and tear the fish up. We cleaned 10-12 fish each day we were there, most of the caught right off the dock. We will definately be back! We had 3 families, 11 people total. We all had beds/privacy. Like I state in my title, the name of this property is appropriate because each family enjoyed a week at the lake for $300 per family!!! Thanks to the owners, for sharing their home and making renting so easy. The communication was outstanding! Heath and Kim Melton

  Tom, What a wonderful place you have on lake wateree. My family didn't want to leave. Each of us found lots of things to during our stay. I hope you continue to offer your home for rent. My family has already put in for coming back soon. I will be in touch to schedule our next stay. The VRBO web site page is great, it allows us to see what date are open with out calling you.
