My husband and I with our 2 small dogs booked this cabin and it was our first stay in the area. It was so amazing! It is close to town and yet far enough away that you had peace and quiet. The cabin looks just like the photos and has everything you need for your stay. It is clean and very well appointed. The subdivision is well taken care of and walking the dogs we saw wild turkeys in the late afternoon. The local store which is about a 3 minutes drive Whatly's has everything you need and the owner and staff are friendly and helpful. If you need a larger store the Krogers is about a 7 minute drive. The owner has a bunch of information for local activities and instructions on how to work everything in the cabin. The owner is a pleasure to deal with. I am in the vacation rental management business in Destin Florida and I am hard to please but this cabin exceeded my expectations and we are looking at our calendar to see when we can return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have been returning to this cabin since 2010... That makes for about six stays in the cabin. It is by far our favorite in the Pigeon Forge area. Peggy is wonderful to work with and is very worried about making your stay the best possible. The location is great, beds comfortable, and everything very clean! The pugs love it too!! The pool table is loads of fun too! The only thing I regret is telling others how wonderful the cabin is because it will make it harder to reserve when we are ready to get away from it all!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We recently stayed at Bear Hugs and had a very good time. The home is very nice and we loved the location. It is easy to get to and the neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing, and the homes are not stacked on top of each other on the side of a ridge, like some of the other so called resort areas in Pigeon Forge. The home was very clean and well maintained, and Peggy, the owner was very helpful and easy to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We were very comfortable. We killed 5 wasps upstairs but didn't see a nest. The cabin was big enough for all 8 of us. It might be a good idea to mention that we need to bring our own laundry soap somewhere in the details but after a trip to Kroger, it all worked out. My husband emailed a list of discrepancies to somebody. Nothing major. The door knob in the second master BR and some lightbulbs needing replacing are what come to mind. We had a great time and were very comfortable. I would come back and I would recommend this place to my friends. Thanks.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

In this beautiful cabin we were able to spend some time & make fond memories with our mother. The cabin has 3 bedrooms which enabled us all to have our privacy but still be close together. We spent every evening sitting at the kitchen table playing cards & building memories. I would strongly suggest this wonderful cabin to anyone. We also had the opportunity to meet Peggy in person. It was obvious that her properties are important to her. I just can't say enough good things about Peggy and the cabin, give it a try....you will love it. Thanks Peggy we will be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This was our first time renting a house of any kind, first time using VRBO, first time with this owner. It was a great experience. Booking and communicating with the owner was easy and friendly. The key was in the box as promised. The cabin was very clean and furnished nicely. Everything was in good working order. Absolutely no complaints. Would rent it again. Will recommend to friends and family. Thanks for the nice time.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We always have a wonderful stay in the "Bear Hug" cabin. We have stayed in this cabin numerous times over the past two years and each time is wonderful, we do not plan to stay anywhere else. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! The location is great. Close to everything but secluded enough that you still feel that you are in the Smokies. There is a great little strip mall that is so close with a wonderful store in case you forget items (Whaleys) and a pizza place that is good too (Stonehouse) . All pictures are descriptive of the actual cabin and the cabin was very clean and well maintained. The area feels safe and the property is well maintained. Peggy is always great to work with and responds quickly to any questions.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
