Wonderful Stay For A Little R&R

My family, my parents and my sister and her daughter stayed for a long weekend get together. My sister's comment when we first walked in was "I could live here!" and that is just how it felt . . . like a home away from home. My husband and son enjoyed the fishing nearby, and my mom and I woke up early every morning to walk the beach and watch the beautiful sunrise. The weather was very cooperative, too, with cool mornings and very warm afternoons. My son and I took advantage of the tennis courts nearby and hit some balls for about an hour. The kids loved that the beach was only a 2-3 minute walk from the condo and took advantage of the hot days building "art" in the sand. Had a problem connecting to Wi-Fi when we first got there and felt awful having to call Patrick for something so trivia, but my daughter had a report that needed to be turned in by midnight that night. When I called Patrick, he was very helpful and assured me it was not a problem calling him. He was able to talk my daughter through to connect properly and asked that we call him if we had any more problems. The condo itself was very comfortable and a wonderful place to just relax. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

My husband and I, as of April 1 2012!! Had a wonderful week with our small wedding party. Not only is the condo comfortable, but convenient to the beach, shops, jet ski, parasailing and walking. The people are extremely kind, which adds to the ambiance too. Thank you for making our special day, and week a beautiful one, we will book again soon!

spring break

We found the townhouse to be as described in the listing. The walk to the beach was maybe 3-4 minutes!! The kids enjoyed the tennis courts and being able to walk to the beach shop for spring break "stuff". Being in mid-Destin made car rides to Harbor Walk Marina or the mall less than 15 minutes. We also found the drive to the skateboard park to be less than 20 minutes. The owner was readily available for questions and the support staff for the community were friendly and very helpful. Would recommend and plan to return for future vacations!! FuddPuckers was a lot of fun and offered a variety of activities as we had "teens" of different age groups; the go-carts were also a blast!!

We took a girls' weekend to get away and this condo worked perfectly for us. It is a one minute walk to the pool with a two minute walk to the beach. Everything was clean and in working order. I would consider staying there again.

We spent 4 marvelous days at Southbay by the Gulf. Condo was very clean and every possible ammenity was provided. The Condo was only a short walk to the Beautiful Destin Beach. Condo is conveniently located to all our favorite Destin dining stops. I highly recommend this property and we will continue to return!!

We had an excellent vacation! The pictures on the site are EXACTLY as we found the condo. Very clean and quiet, our family felt right at home. Everyone had there own space. We didn't feel like we were "living out of a suitcase" like you would staying in a hotel room. And the beach was beautiful and not crowded like in front of the big high rise hotels. It's very close toBig Kahuna's waterpark. Also grocery store is just across the main road into the complex. Very easy to get to shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. The parasailing company we used was very professional and we all had a blast parasailing. Patrick spent time on the phone answering all of our questions before we rented and was very honest and helpful. We could have stayed much longer, there are so many activities that we would like to have tried but didn't have time. But our kids had more fun just playing on the beach than any of the activities we paid to do! We will definetly come back!

We had the most fantastic time in Destin. Two adults and two kids in our party had planty of space. The proximity to the beach is mind blowing. Such a great place to stay, thank you Patrick. It took us total of 2 minutes to walk to the water and on the way back kids played in the pool. Great get away, will deffinetly do it again next year.

Our family of 4 adults and 2 teens (3generations) stayed at Southbay for spring break. We found this condo to be very tastefully decorated, very clean and fully stocked with every item that we needed for the week. We were told that we would only need beach towels and personal belongings and it was true. The condo is the ideal place for convenience. A very short walk to the beach (less than 3 minutes), front door parking, every grocery store, restaurant and retail shopping establishment that you can think of within 5 miles only make the stay more enjoyable. We have been coming to Southbay for 30 years and it continues to be our first choice due to the location and service of the owners. We found this unit to be one of the best we have rented and hope to visit it again in the future.

September in Destin

You have a beautiful home that was absolutely perfect for our vacation. You have a wonderfully stocked kitchen. I was able to cook all week! My husband and the boys were even able to make homemade cinnamon rolls one afternoon! The beach was beautiful and the water was nice and clear. We enjoyed exploring Destin and headed down the road to O'Steen public beach near the jetties where the water was nice and calm without any big waves. It was perfect for our 2 and 4 year old boys. We also explored the bay side at the Gulf Shore National Seashore for the kids to catch hermit crabs and other fish. Every day was a new adventure. Thank you again for giving us such a good deal on your beautiful, quiet, and comfortable townhome. We are already planning a trip back in 2 years, when our next baby, that is due in March, is old enough to enjoy it.

Our stay was wonderful. The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. For a family of 5 w/3 teenage boys everything we wanted to do was within minutes of the condo. The beach was within walking distance and the pool, tennis courts and fishing was great for our family. Kept everyone busy and it was free. Staying the condo was so much more affordable than staying in a hotel because we were able to eat all of our meals there. The kitchen was well equipped and the condo was very spacious for all 5 of us. The kids brought there own game systems and we had movies to watch at night. It was a very fun and relaxing stay. The place is beautiful.

We just loved the condo! Very clean and beautifully decorated with a well equipped kitchen. The location is perfect, right by the beach and close to the grocery store. The beach and the water are the best we have ever experienced. Our extended family ranges from age 9 to age 67, and everyone loved it. Thanks for a wonderful vacation, we will definitely be back!

I loved the beach and the beautiful Gulf waters. The weather was very hot and the traffic on Hwy 98 was very busy. The Condo was perfect for our needs. It was just the right size and had everything we needed. I would love to come back for a couple of weeks the next time.
