Our Historic, vacation home is located on the bay in Historic St. Augustine. It has its own private dock, with a view of the Famous Lions Bridge built in 1927. TheBridge was recently restored as originally built in 1927 right down to the Lights built in France in 1926 and restored this past year. This home is a charming three bedroom, 1 1/2 bath two story. It is located within walking distance (easy 10 Minuets) of downtown St. Augustine where you can take a stroll down the famous St. George and King Streets, to dine, do some shopping or simply set on the bulkhead and watch the tide go by. It is the perfect place for an artist to receive inspiration.
Having been built in 1892 this house underwent complete renovation in 2001, the charm is intact and the interior a delight-it is the best of both worlds. Keep in place are its original 12'ceilings, hand built stairway, blown glass windows, heart pine floors, and the two story rear balconies. Set back nicely from the street with a bricked circular drive offering ample parking for multiple cars or a small boat and trailer. The backyard has plenty of room for outdoor activities and family picnics and of course fishing from the pier.
This home is close to all the many attractions of St. Augustine. Whether you like to bike, walk, take a tour on the trolley or a romantic horse and buggy ride around the town. If you have children there is also entertainment for them as well like, Ghost tours around the town or a visit to St. Augustine’s most recognized attraction, Fort Castillo de San Marco’s built 330 years ago. Also the Famous Alligator Farm, and don't forget, Disney is just a couple hours south!
Summer offers outdoor music every Thursday evening and art festivals in the park. The Christmas season offers an experience of lights like you've never seen, in St. Augustine’s " Night of lights" running from mid November through Late January. Close proximity to the Daytona 500, the Players Championship at Saw Grass, and The Georgia VS. Florida game. King Buster 400 Headquarters is just a short walk or boat ride from our dock. Keep your boat right at your house if you are a fisherman. Our home is a great place to launch kayaks, see manatees, and view Dolphins.

We found our stay at this beautiful home very satisfying. The location is perfect for many things. We rented this home for our daughter's wedding and found the spaciousness and the ammenities were perfect to host a family party prior to the wedding and a bridal day of preparation. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and the half bath downstairs is perfect. We had no issues concerning the bathrooms, which I was a little concerned about prior to our stay. The parking is more than adequate (we were able to park 1 truck and 3 cars in the driveway). Thank you for making our daughter's wedding day and entire experience PERFECT! If you are a fisherman, or have a boat this is a beautiful location for a wonderful trip. Enjoy!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your kind words and I hope the couple have a wonderful life together. We welcome you back any time.

The home is in a perfect location in historic Saint Augustine. You can walk to countless restaurants, shops, attractions, ect. If you don't want to walk there is a trolley stop 0.3 miles from the home. The trollies hit all of the major sites. The city is beautiful. There is history, ocean, museums, shopping, and the "Night of Lights" Christmas light tour during the holiday season. The home has plenty of space for two families with children. The bedrooms are all good size. There is ample parking on the brick paver driveway. You can fit 2-3 cars in the drive. This is helpful because parking on he street can be difficult. The backyard is very unique. There is a private dock that stretches into the intercostal. On our first day we walked to the end and saw a sea turtle hanging around. The dock is perfect for any boating or fishing enthusiast. If you are going to historic Saint Augustine this is the way to go.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was an excellent home to stay in for a friend's wedding in St. Augustine. We slept 7 comfortably and had no problems with the home. Mike was more than accommodating with any questions I had, and even let us rent it for an extra night at last minute! Highly recommended.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This is a perfect place for a visit to St. Augustine. The house is terrific and is as lovely as presented in the pictures on the internet. The waterfront view is great - especially at sunset -- and it is just a short walk to the historic area. All together, a great place to stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: So glad you had a great time and hope to see you again.

This is the 4th year we have been boating in St Augustine and this is the first year we stayed in a house. We usually rent a hotel room across from the marina. I have to say this is the way to go!! We plan on renting this house again and again! It was soo... convienent. We loved having a washer and dryer, the spacious living room and off course being able to dock the boat right at the house was an extra plus! Thank you to Mike, the house was fabulous!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks so much for your kind words. As you can see by my boat, I love boating and fishing as well. Our location puts you in the middle of what's happening on the water and of course all the site seeing for those that don't want to fish. Hope to see you again. Mike

Great Wedding Weekend!
Great Wedding Weekend!

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding weekend. The wedding was at the cathedral and the reception was at River House. We were located right in the middle of both venues. I relaxed the minute I walked in the door, which is alot to say with the stress of wedding planning. There was plenty of room for entertaining over the weekend, as well as for the 8 women getting ready for the ceremony. You have a direct view of the lighthouse from the house and you can see downtown from the dock. We had a great view of fireworks that were set off over downtown on Saturday. We did not bring our boat because of all the wedding activities but will next time. This house would be a perfect base for a boating weekend. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. Although there is only 1 full bath, it is big and comfortable. The kitchen is very small but was easy to work with. My son-in-law and husband walked to St. George Street for breakfast with no problem. Dressed up bridesmaids could not walk to the cathedral or River House from here but we did not expect them to. The weekend was capped off with a manatee feeding right off the dock on Sunday morning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It will be a lasting memory of our wonderful weekend.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have just returned from the most wonderful vacation at this property in St. Augustine. The house sits on the Intercoastal Waterway with its own dock. We spent a great deal of time just sitting out on the dock, watching the boats and the dolphins. The house itself was gorgeous! I wondered a little how the kitchen and bathrooms would be, since there were no pictures of them, but they were delightful.. We did very little cooking, but everything was so convenient. We have fallen in love with St. Augustine, and spend as much time there as we can. We love to eat at Capps on the Water, The Sunset Grill, Columbia House, and the A1A Ale Works. We usually go to Vilano Beach, and love St. George Street for sightseeing and shopping. This was our seventh trip to St. Augustine, and every time we come back, we find something new to do or see. Mike was very accommodating and answered all questions. We will be back and we will be so happy to stay in this house again. So sad to leave!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I just returned from an amazing stay at this home! When we arrived, the home was perfectly ready. The bedrooms are huge and there are fans everywhere in the house so it was easy to keep it cool without having to keep the air conditioning too low. The backyard is huge with giant trees and little pond, and one of our favorite things was getting up in the morning to see the sunrise across the water. We also loved being so close to downtown! We were in town for a wedding so we were able to easily walk to the ceremony and reception. Also, Mike, the homeowner, was a wonderful host with great instructions and suggestions for local things to do and places to eat. I would absolutely recommend staying here!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks so much for those kind words. We have alot of wedding party members who stay at the house and we try to make there stay as nice as we can. The location so close to the Historic district and shopping seem to be realy convenient for most. Pleas come see us again.
