What an incredible adventure on Vancouver Island! This fantastic gem of a property is hidden away on the coast of Vancouver Island in the small town of Ladysmith, near Nanaimo. This is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and serene properties you will experience! Words and pictures can only begin to describe the view from this penthouse hideaway. You will find yourself surrounded by ocean views and immersed in lush, green forest. The sunrise over the water provides a view that you may never forget.
It is obvious that the owners love their property and the location. Their passion for the surrounding beauty and the property itself are evident in many ways. The booking process was quick and easy. The owners supplied all the relevant info and gave great tips for things to do and how to get to the island. The property was well stocked with nearly all a traveler could want or need and is excellent condition!
The chef’s kitchen is a phenomenal addition to this property and allows travelers to cook at home while enjoying the views. Even condiments were provided!
The master bedroom is elegant and comfortable. Plus, the large windows open right to the waves crashing on the beach below! This is ocean front living at its finest!
The Inn of the Sea resort offers a pristine swimming pool and hot tub right on the water, along with a BBQ grill and tennis court. The surrounding flowers and gardens add simple beauty to this already amazing location.
The Inn of the Sea is the perfect choice for a romantic getaway or honeymoon adventure! Caution: You may not want to leave!

Thanks for sharing your beautifully decorated waterfront condo with us. The home is well maintained and exactly as described. We enjoyed the view from every room, especially the well equipped kitchen. The skylights and heated bathroom tile floors were a nice touch. We greatly appreciated the coffee, condiments and the helpful information book. We could not have made a better choice. The Crow and Gate pub was delicious and highly recommended. Thanks again for providing such first class accommodations.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

This penthouse is every thing that was described and MORE !! We arrived yesterday afternoon early - having first stopped at the grocery store according to your suggestion. We have not yet left your place as we cannot tear ourselves away from it. So great inside & out ! Perfect !! Just perfect !!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We couldn't have been happier at your oceanside penthouse. The view is spectacular. It's like you are camping on the beach but in a million dollar home. Unbelievable! Thank you so much for sharing your place. We love it and we will be back. P.S. We saw river otters, bald eagles, hummingbirds, great blue herons, seals. We welcome you, and we can promise that you will enjoy your stay immensely, and leave with reluctance. One sunrise and you're hooked!
Why the Owner Chose Nanaimo:
My husband spent many years of his childhood in Yellow Point. He would wander the beaches and hike the woods. I grew up by the ocean in Nova Scotia, so we are babies of the sea. Salt breezes and wood smoke feed our souls.

I am a true foodie, so I have created a kitchen that any cook/chef would feel right at home in. The farmer's market, the fresh fish, the produce. What fun it is to plan a special meal, pour a glass of wine, and enjoy it overlooking the magnificent, ever changing, ocean. It just doesn't get any better then that.
