Our stony, 200-year-old, country house is situated just three kilometers out of Greve in Chianti, on a hilltop with a charming view overlooking Greve valley, ancient castles, picturesque villages and farms where you can taste genuine local products. The recent renovation has preserved the original Tuscan style with terracotta tiled floors and wooded beam ceilings.
The apartment is on the ground floor of the farm house and offers accomodation for 2 or 4 people (extra bed available upon request).
"Camelia" is a studio for 2 people with kitchenette, double-size bed, and bathroom and private entrance. For families and groups of 4 persons,we offer a double bedroom with private bathroom and connecting door to "Camelia".
Laura and Filippo welcome you at "Ancora del Chianti." Laura takes care of guests during their stay. She decorated the house herself and loves painting flowers of her colorful garden. Filippo devotes himself to vineyards and olive groves producing Chianti wine and genuine olive oil.
Chianti offers visits to castles, villages, and farms and several outdoor activities as walking excursions, horseback riding, mountain bike, tennis, lake fishing, etc. The best golf course in Florence is just within a ten-kilometer distance from the house.
In the area you can enjoy wine tours with wine tasting (Chianti, Montalcino, San Gimignano, and Montepulciano), visits to main cities as Florence (20 kilometers) and Siena (40 kilometers), and fashion outlets.
