After a day of sun on beautiful Rosemary Beach, stroll directly down the boardwalk and enter the cool, lush gardens in the walled courtyard of Grace Cottage, in the center of Rosemary Beach. The constant sound of the flowing waterfall at the PRIVATE POOL will instantly cool you and your family as you enjoy the many shady outdoor areas. Relax in the courtyard gardens, pool terrace, upstairs dining deck with WET BAR/MORNING KITCHEN, front balcony or third floor TOWER for a private nap. During cooler months the small pool can be enjoyed as a hot tub with heating, bench seating, and poolside fireplace.
Grace Cottage (named for our daughter) was designed by Rosemary Beach architect George Israel, who is known for his many unique and eye-catching details. The interiors were created by John Fernandez, the designer of many of Rosemary’s distinctive homes. We hope you will enjoy our home with its “organic-contemporary” styling and many comfortable spots to relax and enjoy friends and family.
The living room, kitchen, and dining area on the first floor feature large HDTV flat screen TV with surround sound, comfortable seating for family gatherings, and large table for family meals – we love to cook, so you’ll find the kitchen equipped with all the tools you’ll need including Cusinart. Don’t want to cook? You are just steps to Summer Kitchen, Cowgirl Kitchen, Onano, Wild Olives, Shades, and two new restaurants – Paradis for gourmet dining and full bar, and La Cocina for great Mexican. And in the morning . . .one block to the new coffeehouse, and, maybe even more important, around the corner from Spa Solace for a massage or facial!
Also on the first floor, you will find a large, romantic first-floor master suite including a king bed, flat screen TV, and walk-in closet. From the private bathroom, step down into the beautiful tiled shower with double showerheads, then step out for one more shower – outdoors with large curtain for a very private open-air shower! You’ll rest peacefully with the sound of the waterfall just outside the bedside window.
Upstairs you’ll find two more bedrooms, one with king bed, one with two twins plus built-in bunk beds in the bedroom entry. Both bedrooms have full baths (all have hand sprays making it easier to get the sand from your little ones!) and open to the large front balcony. Additionally upstairs, you will find a convenient morning kitchen/wetbar with small Sub-Zero refrigerator with icemaker. Open the door and step out to the spectacular “dining deck” with comfortable lounging and table seating with views of the rooftops of Rosemary. It’s a great place to end the evening watching the sunset, the fireworks on the 4th, or greeting neighbors and new friends as they stroll the streets of Rosemary.
Continue up one more flight of stairs to our third-floor tower with small, low bed for napping after your long day on the beach. You might find yourself spending the night here as the evening air cools.
We think our house is great for couples with children, with room for the kids to play on the upstairs balcony while the adults enjoy some wine and cheese on the “dining deck.” And everyone can enjoy a meal or cookout together in the large kitchen and pool terrace.
The house is located in the center of Rosemary Beach (within the town, unlike many listings which are often miles outside the town). Here you can walk to the beach, four pools, fitness center, tennis center, seven restaurants, the wine bar, coffeehouse, bike shop, spa, shopping and, of course, Sugar Shack! Short drive to Publix, Target, and new movie theaters at Pier Park (if you can stand to leave Rosemary). Our private INTERNET WI-FI is also available for your use as well as flat screens in all bedrooms.

The best beaches in the country and driving distance from our home in Atlanta. And our daughter and her friends can enjoy the the area safely and securely by walking or riding their bikes anywhere in town. It's a place adults and children can both enjoy. Adults can enjoy a glass of wine at The Courtyard as their children visit Gigi's next door for toys and kids clothes. All while gazing out at the Gulf of Mexico!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We can park the car for the entire stay if we want too. We walk to the beach, seven restaurants, coffee house, wine bar, spa, shopping, four pools, three parks. And when we can walk, we meet so many new and interesting people! After a day at the beach or pool, we can relax in our own lush courtyard which is cooling in the summer (shade and pool) and warming in the fall and winter (hot tub and outdoor fireplace). There really is nothing like Rosemary; while some beach locations feel like a tourist destination, Rosemary is truly just a small town at the beach!

My husband and I began visiting the 30-A area 20 years ago when the only buildings where a few homes at Seaside and Modica market. We've made this beautiful beach a regular destination since our daughter was small, and we purchased a lot at Rosemary Beach in 1998. We completed the Carriage House in 2003 and the Cottage in 2005. We were so fortunate to work with great designers and enjoy a vacation home that is so different from our home in Atlanta. While Grace Cottage is more contemporary that some homes in Rosemary, it is airy and natural by design and extremely comfortable with many great areas to relax. We love Rosemary Beach, all the new restaurants and gathering places, and the many new friends we have made there. We hope to make it our permanent home someday. I truly hope you and your friends and family will enjoy our home and make some great memories at Rosemary!

We stayed at Grace cottage for a month this summer...and it was perfect! It is a stone's throw to wonderful food and fun shops! The courtyard area to the home was our favorite! It was the perfect space to keep bikes, wagons, beach supplies and still you didn't feel "cluttered!" The soaking pool was the perfect entertainment for the kids...and adults :)! You really can't find a better place in rosemary...the location is close to everything and the home is very family friendly! We have a 6 and 1 year old and it was the perfect spot for us!! We would love to stay here again!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This is a beautiful, contemporary beach house. It has everything you could wish for and a large hot tub/pool that's very well heated. We love the house and the owners are very well organized and friendly.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers.
