  Outstanding Experience!!!! As this was our very first experience in renting from VRBO, I didn't know what to expect during the whole process of finding a desireable beachfront vacation house, contacting the owner, then experiencing the vacation. This whole experience was fanastic!! The house was perfect in everyway...views, size, cleaniness, bathrooms, kitchen, seating and dining area size, and most importantly, safety and location. The communication with the owner was wonderful and responsive and we plan to call her back for more stays at this wonderful beach house. Highly recommend!

  My husband and i visted this townhouse and found a new way of vacationing. We came for our 3rd year anniversary, along with our dogs, and did not want to leave. As noted in other reviews, the house is literally steps away from the sand and ocean, Absolutely gorgeous views, a very short walk to the pier and shops, and most impressive was the friendly atmosphere of the neighbors and tourists. The house has a convenient, nice layout. Very clean. Love the garage with it's ease of access to the beach and street, and the shower to wash of our feet and paws. :) We watched the sunrise from the master bedroom every morning and walked the dogs at sunset every evening. The owners were very friendly and accomodating! The Wi-Fi had a great connection if you need it! We will be back on our 4th anniversary!

  We really enjoyed staying here. It was very convenient to everything. This was one of the best vacations I have had. Our little dog loved it too. : ) We loved sititng out on the balcony and watching the ocean. The view was beautiful and it was nice only having to walk a few steps to the beach. I wish we could have stayed longer. The owners were very nice and considerate and answered any questions we had. Thanks for such a wonderful vacation and I hope we will able to return soon.

  We had a great time here. The house has a great view and is in the perfect location if you want to be able to have a short walk to the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk and shops. Two bathrooms make it perfect for three couples, with a futon which was great for the two kids. We would rent this again in a heartbeat. Be sure to take your own beach towels, and buy dishwasher and washing machine soap.

  My family and I spent a week here and brought home memories to last a lifetime!! After reading the last review posted a few days before our trip, I was a bit hesitant as to what we were walking into. I must say I found the home to be exactly as the website represented. It was clean and well maintained. We had no issue with the garage door, which worked fine for us all week. The outdoor carpet on the balconies was clean and we didn't "get queezy" we we walked out onto it. The only thing is can suggest is the air intake filter at the top of the stairs does need to be changed. A few of the air vents were a tiny bit rusty, but that is simply from the condensation of the air running constantly and with the high humidity and salt-air. This type of thing would be found in any unit in such close proximity to the beach. Speaking of such close proximity...the location is perfect!!! It was literally steps to the ocean. It was so nice to be able to walk back up to the house to grab a snack or use the restroom without having to hop on a golf cart and drive a block or two, and the shower in garage was great for rinsing our feet and beach toys! The owners were very friendly and made the entire experience fantastic! The home was a great fit for our family of five (kids ages 17, 13, 10 yrs) and we were even able to bring our 1 yr old Labrador, Abby!! I can not accurately convey into words how wonderful the time spent here was for us. We look forward to returning next summer!!!

  I love the location of the town home, but that is about all I liked about the unit. When we arrived the place was not clean. There was hair in one of the bathtubs. The air intake filter at the top of the stairs was filthy went lent. Several of the coolling vents were dirty as well. The lights in the master bedroom bathroom were not bright at all. Could hardly see. The light over the bed in the master bedroom could not be turned off. You had to turn the whole unit off from the wall switch. There were two balconies on the unit which was nice, but neither one looked like they had not been swept for several weeks. They had stuff all over the outdoor carpet. It kinda made you queezy to walk on it without shoes. The garage door was not installed level and it quit working after 2 days. We had to disconnect the garage door opener and use in manually. No repairman ever showed up even though the owner indicated that she had called one. This is my first stay at a VRBO unit, and I can probably say it will be my last. I cannot in good conscience recommend this unit to anyone until a lot of work is done on the unit.

  Owner response: While it is unfortunate that this guest had a less than desireable experience, as the owners, I would encourage you to read all the other reviews. We have had this and 3 other properties listed since 2007 and this is the 1st negative review we have ever received on any of the 4. As soon as the cleaning issues were reported on the day of check-in I passed them on to the housekeepers. What he reported was not acceptable and they corrected it. Balconies that are exposed to the beach have sand and other debris blown on them. They can be clean one hour and not the next. The garage door is brand new. I stayed in our house next door the week prior to his arrival and the guests staying in this house used the keypad and garage door successfully all week. As far as the lights in the master bedroom, we use the wattage that is required which is always lower on a celing fan. There are additional lamps on bedside stands. I have been in contact with the guests that are staying currently and they have had no problems. Lastly, as owners, we are extremely responsive in a timely manner. All 11 of his text messages and 12 emails were responded to within minutes. Last year the HVAC went out on a Saturday and we had it replaced the same day. Yesterday, there was a problem with a lock and the repairman was there within 2 hours. We, too, are disappointed and frustrated when a repairman promises to arrive at a designated time and does not keep that appointment. VRBO works wonderfully for owners and renters over 95% of the time. Nothing is perfect, things break and housekeepers make mistakes. I hope that future guests to this or any other VRBO sites read all the reviews. VRBO owners, like ourselves, strive to make their homes clean, comfortable and affordable for their guests. This is why we have guests who continue to return to one of our houses year after year.

  Stayed here last Thanksgiving with my dog. It was a perfect place to be. Safe and secure as well as very pet friendly. The condo was clean and exactly as the pictures showed. I loved being right by the beach! Will definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises. Thanks to the owners for all they did to make it a great Thanksgiving for me!

  We had a wonderful time at the beach house. It was clean and looked just like the pictures. Most importantly, the beach was right there. It was wonderful sitting on the balcony and hearing the waves. We will book the house in the future.

  This was the perfect place for a winter getaway. The ocean views are magnificient and you can see the ocean from every room. The townhouse is light and airy and the pictures show exactly how it looks. The enclosed garage was very nice especially if the weather was rainy or the wind was blowing. It is truly just steps to the ocean and a short walk to the pier. It is convienent to shopping and several grocery stores. It is just minutes to great restaurants at Murrells Inlet. I hope I can stay there again.
