  Spent a happy week here enjoying the condo and the area. Photos are very accurate. The kitchen has a very large assortment of pots, cooking equipment, and condiments left from previous tenants. The upstairs lani had a great view out to the ocean, and comfortable lounges. Bedroom very large and bed very cosy. Bath area a bit convoluted with doors etc, and we thought anybody with serious mobility issues may have trouble. However, they do not need to open and close all the doors as long as their partner is aware they are there. In house laundry is wonderful. The sunset view is great, and the darkening blinds to keep the sun out in the later afternoon can be arranges to allow more light in during the rest of the day by simply moving them around a bracket. Lots of books and tourist help available. Owner helpful and easy to deal with. No problems. Sam Choys at nearby handy shopping centre was a good spot to eat. Grocery store, drugstore and ice cream there too!! Enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you. Aloha

  Gayle, I apologize for not replying via email sooner. I get so very tired looking for condos....places to stay in Hawaii, but I have been there numerous times and know what Larry and I enjoy. I like being able to walk around the fun little city of Kailua-Kona....visit the stores, sample the shrimp at Bubba Gumps, go up to the restaurant in the large building next to Bubba Gumps and watch the surfers while we enjoy a drink and a meal. I like to go out on the little boat with the glass bottom and see the fish, etc. from the dock....I really enjoy the luau at the hotel down the way...(don't know the name, but it is the best around.) We have some very dear friends in Lihaina initially from Oregon whom we enjoy visiting and seeing a new child often. There is nothing about our visits there that I don't enjoy...love the old restaurants and their entertainers, but like to venture out and find new ones, too. I enjoy the outdoor market almost next door...keep lots of new flowers and will export some home when we fly to Seattle. After flowers are inspected it is OK to put them in your carry-on luggage and they travel well !!! Gave at least ten plants to our son in Manassas , Virginia last trip. He's good with plants !!! Well , I was getting tired, disappointed and almost ready to head to Florida rather than Hawaii when I touched base with you. I just told you the facts... .....you went to search and I rested. You found us two places that would work. I was satisfied that most of our desires were met and we would be in an area we liked, have a swimming pool and then VOILA you called back and I was viewing the beautiful condo you secured for us at such a Great Rate too!!! I am ecstatic....I can't tell you how happy, pleased, excited and relieved I am. Larry loves it too. Can't wait to get to Hawaii and see if it is REAL !! I am not religiously a believer, but so often wonderful things do happen to me that I can't help wondering why ? Gayle your appearance was one of the wonderful things of my life; you took away the worry, concern, insecurity and make it all beautiful !!! Thank-you. Can't wait to meet you.   I just wanted to thank you for letting us rent your condo. We loved it and it was the perfect location for our two children. Our daughter wanted to snorkel and my son wanted to body surf so they had the best time. The ocean across the way was perfect for them. We got to see the sea turtles in the surf every morning. We went with another couple and their son. I'm glad we went with you as we felt it was much better. We loved the Island and the weather. I've been to Maui and Wikkiki and prefer the Big Island of Kona to be the best for our liking. We had a great time. We would love to come back again at the same time next year so please let us know if it comes available and we'll keep an eye out as well closer to the time. Do you rent out for longer stays? 3-4 weeks?

  We are just back from our trip to Hawaii. I just wanted to thank you for everything because the rates for the cars were amazing so has your condo! I will surely recommend it to everybody that wants to go to Big Island it was way better than our expectations, so comfortable and pretty! It was a pleasure doing business with you.   Aloha Gayle, Once again we enjoyed your condo and Kona. We figure it must be close to 20+ yrs to Keauhou. The weather was incredible, 83 & sunny every day. I was talking to friends at the Sat. Keauhou market and Karen was saying how dry it is in the uplands where the coffee farms are. She & her husband have a coffee farm so all the farmers are hoping for some rain. We like the dining table instead of the high table, good addition! We enjoyed visiting with Heather & Glenn on the corner - lots in common! It gets to be a little family there doesn't it? I'm sure we'll be in touch later in the spring. Cheryl
