Denver local on girls spring break ski trip
Denver local on girls spring break ski trip
The owner was easy to work with and very nice. The place was clean and well maintained, and there weren't a lot of annoying rules re: details of clean up or check out, which was nice. The photo accurately shows the size and look. It's smaller than other Copper units I rented but I knew that and chose it due to the good price. Bus noise kept my one friend up at times in the bedroom but she is a light sleeper. The other one is a heavier sleeper and did not hear it. The sofa bed is not comfortable but that is to be expected on sofa beds, I think. However, the furniture is not that comfortable to just sit on, which seemed unusual to me. It was easy to get a good parking spot in the garage. We did not get a chance to take advantage of amenities like the pool table or hot tub, which look nice. If you rent this and want DVDs bring a few as there are none in the unit (maybe because they have satellite tv which has movies). I liked the other places I stayed at Copper more as they were more comfortable and larger. However they were significantly more expensive and this was peak season which is why we got this one. It is conveniently near the super bee lift and the bus stop. I would recommend it because it is a good deal and the guy is nice. That being said next time I plan to go in off season so I can get something a little bit bigger. But, even though it is small they have done thoughtful things like hung extra hooks on the bathroom door for multiple towels, and put in a rolling rack with shelves so everyone has room to store her toiletries.

Owner response: Your comments are appreciated. The unit has been largely updated and we have spent significant time here and find it very comfortable. We now have the option of a very comfortable blow up bed as an alternative to the pull out couch. We have also added an hdmi chord for the flat screen TV, which should make viewing movies much easier VIA netflix or other online viewing websights.

We really enjoyed the condo. It was clean, close to the Super Bee Lift and a nice quiet, relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the week.

Wonderful underground parking, great hot tubs, slope views, excellent location - quiet, but a short free shuttle ride to the main village. Superb television and very clean. I would recommend, and the owner was very accomodating and flexible.

Great unit right on the slopes!
Great unit right on the slopes!
My wife and I spent a wonderful 5-night stay in this unit from Dec. 14-19. It is literally right across the street from the Superbee lift at Copper, which is (for good blue and black skiers) the best lift on the mountain. (There is also a short learning lift for first-time skiers in this area.) The condo is in excellent condition, and we loved the large-screen TV with DVD in the living room. We didn't use it, but having the other TV in the bedroom would give some nice flexibility in case people didn't all want to watch the same thing. We really enjoyed the view of the mountain from the living room and balcony. And the owners, Trevor and Heather, were very attentive and gave us their numbers to call in case anything needed to be taken care of. The unit is right on the circuit for the buses that run around the resort, as well as the Summit Stage, which goes to other locations in Summit County. This is very convenient, although it also means there is some bus noise in the morning. All in all, we would definitely give a strong recommendation to this unit, and we'll very likely stay her again!

Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: My wife and I are summit county locals who have lived in ski resorts for several years. We figure there is no better place to be. We have been renting out this unit for the last three ski seasons with great success.
Why the Owner Chose Copper Springs Lodge:
We actually bought this property as a first property in 2006. We lived in it for one year and absolutely loved it. Copper Mountain is arguably the best of the summit county resorts, but that being said if you are looking to get away this is the most centrally located, with Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek and Arapahoe basin all being within 25 minutes drive.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Free wireless internet, no cleaning fees, and local owners who know Summit county.
