Seven nights for the price of Six -This comfortable cabin is located on the North Fork of the Kaweah River, surrounded by the foothills of Sequoia National Park. River Oak Haven guest cabin and main house are riverfront property on 3.3 acres. You will enjoy the sound of the river, the song of the red-tail hawk, and the cry of the coyote while lounging in the sun on the private deck or strolling along the river under a canopy of oak and sycamore trees.
The winter months bring snow in the National Park. Designated areas allow for great sledding and there are plenty of trails for cross country skiing. Be prepared and bring chains for the mountain drive.
River Oak Cabin is right where you want to be to relax, unwind, walk, hike, read, paint, or just sit and listen to the sounds of the country. The setting is tranquil and lends itself to quiet reflection, yet, there is enough space to have fun with a football or a Frisbee.
Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront.
If you are traveling long distance or love your water toys, there is plenty of parking space for your RV, boat, or watercraft.
Enjoy a private deck for lounging and barbecuing.
The front lawn area is large enough for family football or volleyball.
During the winter there is a firepit and wood for outdoor fires .

My family stayed in this cabin while visiting Sequoia National Park. It was very well appointed (much more so than others we've stayed in) and perfect for our family (me, husband, kids (4&6) and our dog). It was a beautiful property and for two of the five days we were there, we just played at the cabin. Everyone we dealt with regarding the cabin was friendly and professional. I will comment that the cabin is right next to a main house, but it certainly did not detract from our visit. We'd definitely recommend it for families wanting to visit Sequoia National Park but not quite up for camping, or just wanting to get out into the country for a few days.Recommended for: Families with young children.

My family of 4 rented this cabin for a few days so we could enjoy hiking in Sequoia National Park. We sure enjoyed it! The kids loved playing outside on the playset, and walking down to the river. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the beautifully decorated and peaceful cabin. We didn't do much cooking, just cereal and milk for breakfast and packing picnics for lunches, but the kitchen was the right size for us. There were a few good places to eat in Three Rivers and the owner can help you find the right place for you. As we were leaving, my entire family asked, 'Can we please come back here again?' YES - I think we will!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to send this review. You have painted an accurate picture of a vacation at my cabin. I always give perspective guests plenty of attention so that they can make the best choice for their vacaion needs The feedback coming from the guests is the most valuable informaion for those planning their visit to the area. I often want to tell guests the cabin and grounds are beautiful and you will not regret your choice to stay here, but coming from the owner that might sound pushy, but it is true. The cabin was spacious, tasteful and exceeded all expectations. The surrounding grounds were lovely and the dogs loved to run around and enjoy the river. Just 9 miles from the park entrance it is perfectly suited for day trippers. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the afternoon sun listening to the sounds of the river. Overnight snow added color to the mountain view. Awesome :)Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

The cabin is perfect.... loved the landscape and little trails.... pictures do not do it justice.... this place is located near all sorts of activities to do , however the lure of the house and river may make you just sit and enjoy the privacy.......My son loved the freedom and my daughter the tranquility.... I loved the fact you can get away and enjoy quality family time.... we will be back..... Marcie and Lynn are great ! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise......Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
