My husband and I spent our honeymoon here - and loved every moment of it. You can't beat this location and the views. We really enjoyed walking next door and having Mai Tai's at Duke's, grilling fresh fish downstairs and eating it on our balcony, and whale watching from this unit. We look forward to coming back!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

Dolores was very helpful in things to do while on Maui. The condo is well kept, comfortable, and has what you need for a nice stay. Grilling downstairs was great and easy. The hot tub was nice. The views were really, really wonderful, and watching and listening to the waves was the best. The photos accurately reflect what you'll get if you stay there, so no surprises. Go snorkel at Honolua Bay, you don't need to take a boat tour to go there. Enjoy a "fruity island drink" at Dukes, just next door. I could go on, but the owner will absolutely help you find good things to do. I would recommend this as a home base for friends and family who were visiting.

We just returned from our 25th anniversary week in Doris's beautiful condo and couldn't have been more pleased. After reviewing our activities...Ulelena, sunset cruise, helicopter over the volcano and road from Hana, Feast at Lele, black coral jewelry, and Piiholo zipline........we agree that the most wonderful part of our trip was THE CONDO!! The beautiful view from the lanai and SOUND OF THE SURF coming through the bedroom door were spectacular. Like many others, we didn't want to leave but we take with us the memories of a lifetime. Mahalo, mahalo.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed at this property for a full week starting the end of August 2010. We stayed at the Mahana previously, but booked direct with the hotel on the previous occasion. We love the Mahana, as all units are ocean front. This particular unit was gorgeous and there were no issues. We loved, loved, loved it. We had no issues finding the property. It was very, very easy to find in our rental car. We also went to Duke's for breakfast and the other hotel property to the right for drinks and dinner. The owner Doris was so very helpful and offered us plenty of suggestions on restaurants and excursions. We did a day trip to Lanai and loved it. It is such a different island than Maui, as it was very undisturbed. You will not go wrong with this Unit or with the owner Doris. She was very, very easy to work with.

I have to say we had a wonderful time, the condo was as nice as described. The sunsets from the balcony, and the sun rises from the entrance were outstanding. We enjoyed Dukes next door for most of our meals, the staff there was so nice & friendly. Walking the beaches everyday, snorkeling, and going to Front street were some of our activities. I hope to return one day. The only draw back was actually finding the property, the shuttle driver from the airport was terrible. A map to property would have helped, I used Mapquest before leaving but, he was very uninformed.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The listing description was accurate and the photos did accurately reflect the rental's appearanec. The place was wonderful. It was clean and quiet and well maintained. I would recommend this property to anyone friend or relative.
