Our Winter Escape to this lovely townhouse in a beautiful lush tropical setting proved to be more than our expectations. We especially enjoyed the screened in courtyard and being able to open the living area to this peaceful spot. The grill also provided a means to enhance this outside lifestyle. The desk and High Speed Internet allowed my husband to stay in contact with his business. The location could not be more perfect. With minimal travel we enjoyed walks and Friday Farmers' Market at Beautiful Lakes Park, The Edison Estate, Fort Myers Beach, the Downtown District, and of course, Red Sox Spring Training. This unit is nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. We got great support from the owner, her property manager, and her neighbor. We would recommend this unit to anyone who longs for a perfect getaway. My husband and I choose a condo to stay in while visiting our son's family in Ft.Myers for the Christmas holiday.We stayed two weeks.Our 7 and 11 year old granddaughters spent a couple of nights with us. The first thing the 11 year old said was, "It's so quiet". The condo is located in a quiet setting.Even on New Years Eve, we did not hear much noise from fireworks. The condo was clean, well stocked with items needed for our stay. The most touching experience was that a few days before we were to leave Oregon for our visit, Gilda called and told us her condo was not rentable because it had a water leak from a mishap with the water heater. She offered to find us another place to rent. Being in a bind, we accepted the offer. In a few hours, she called back and said a neighbor was going to be gone and would be willing to rent us his. All was good again. However, when we got to the site, Gilda was there to to meet us and she said hers was available after all. She had"coaxed" workers to take care of the problem with the leak and had it in such a shape over the week-end that we could not tell that anything had happened. Gilda was very accomodating. This townhouse rental looked really nice on the Homeaway.com site, and totally lived up to our lofty expectations during a very nice 4 week stay. The home is very tastefully decorated and features a very comfortable and private lanai with a good BBQ which we used a lot. Most of our meals were enjoyed on the lanai. Courtyards at Cypress Lakes Estates feels set away from the hustle and bustle but is very central to very nice places to shop, dine and visit. It is in a location requiring an easy drive to Pine Island, the Fort Myers Beach area, and the lovely Islands of Sanibel and Captiva. Visitors are strongly encourage to visit all locations with camera in hand. The townhouse was clean and well equipped. Owner, Gilda, and her son, Alex, were responsive to us in several ways, and helpful when we inquired about the Townhouse. We would recommend this property to others, and in fact, close relatives who rented nearby preferred this home to where they stayed. There are a number of nice restaurants nearby and we include Applebees, the University Grill, and Ruby Tuesdays among our favoured choices. Oh and the swimming pool. It is about a 3 minute walk from the Townhouse, beautifully laid out and maintained, and usually quiet. Very Nice. All and all, it was a very nice home to stay in during our stay in Fort Myers with stunning good weather. Cheers ... Very comfortable condo in a nice quite location and is centerally located to many Fort Myers attractions. We really enjoyed the lania and grill and the owners were very accommodating. We highly recommend this property, everthing was as described. Very clean and cosy vacation home, we also experiencend a perfect customer service.
