  Our family enjoyed a glorious week on Martha's Vineyard. Your home is beautiful, immaculate and very well maintained. We thought the house was cozy, very comfortable and beautifully appointed as well. We LOVED the outdoor shower and hammock. Many evenings were spent enjoying the back deck. Most mornings we enjoyed our coffee on the front porch. We loved the location, which is most important to our diverse interests. We walked everywhere with ease and comfort. You made everything very easy and enjoyable. Simply put, we had a blast and hope to return next year!!! Thanks for helping us make such cherished family memories!!

You enjoyed all the amenities that we enjoy with the house -- the wraparound porch, the back deck, the hammock, the outdoor shower, the convenient location, the lovely, cozy decor and the blooming hydrageas that surround the house . The central air conditioning is very important when the weather is so changeable. Most nights, sleeping with the windows open and the upstairs bedroom fans is a comfortable alternative. The goal is rest, relaxation and fun with families and friends. We look forward to adding you to our return renters list!

  I have been vacationing with my family for many years through our vacation time share and decided to try for the first time, this wonderful looking home we found featured on Homeaway. All I can say is wow! We sure lucked out big time! This home was truly our home away from home, with everything that we needed to have a terrific time on the Vineyard. We were so appreciative that the homeowners left their outdoor shed stocked with six bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, buggy boards, just everything we needed to make our excursions on the vineyard hassle free. The house is in immaculate condition, new, modern and beautifully decorated. We shared the house with another family and the second family room made for the perfect spot for the kids to hang out. The large deck, with ample seating, made for a wonderful evening barbeque with friends. The outdoor shower was certainly a treat and the large wrap around deck surely made our ritual morning cups of coffee very special. Can’t wait to return again. Judith from New Jersey.

  We could not have dreamed a better vacation home. The house is a short walk to restaurants and the harbor and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay – spacious rooms, well-maintained, fully stocked kitchen with great appliances and a lovely décor.   This home is the PERFECT vacation rental for a multi-generational family, groups of friends who have children, or a group of couples. I hesitate to describe it as a rental because it feels exactly like home. It's beautifully and meticulously decorated (with art that you'll want to take home)!! From the moment we approached the circular drive and entered the brightly, and freshly painted home we knew we were in for a treat. Light streams in from all directions (including from the sky light in the master bath), and the open kitchen/dining room lends itself to impromptu gatherings with drinks and snacks. The sun-filled deck is hard to resist. You'll want to lounge there with a book and cold drink at least once a day. With close proximity to the library (especially nice if you have children), Circuit Ave and the Flying Horses Merry Go Round, the beach and only 15 minutes from Edgartown and South Beach, I cannot think of a better place to choose as home base when you take a trip to Martha's Vineyard. The owners provide everything you need for the perfect beach vacay - bikes, beach chairs, beach toys... This is the only vacation that's ever caused me to shed a tear as I departed and took a last look at the lovely red door that welcomed my family every day for seven days. This home is pure relaxation and heaven on earth!

  As I look back over the listing for this property, it disappoints. Not because the rental is a bad one.. quite the opposite in fact. There is no way that this listing even begins to capture how amazing this rental property really is. We spent the last week of July 2010 in this home and it is just LOVELY. The furniture is comfortable yet good quality and well maintained. The art, colors and decor of the house are designer quality yet don't feel pretentious in the least. High end appliances, two extremely large bedrooms and two average size bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms for everyone in your party and a luxurious, NOT TO BE MISSED outdoor shower are just a few of the high points of this rental. I almost hate to even use the word rental in describing this listing. I've rented houses on VRBO in a number of locations for the last several years and this one was among the nicest I have ever seen. You will not feel like you are renting a vacation home that others have been in before you. You will feel like you are walking into a new, well loved HOME. Location wise, I was a bit concerned. We were traveling with children (20 mos, 8, 11 and 15 years) and looking at the map, the property seemed quite far away. Trust me, it is not. We walked to the Tabernacle area in about seven minutes (leisurely walking with kids, not speed walking) and Circuit Ave is just beyond that another couple of minutes. The area felt very safe and secure- the three older kids went to the Tabernacle, Circuit Ave and the library alone with no concerns on our part. Chris and Randy, the owners, are wonderful about keeping in touch. I spoke with them a couple of times before we left, a couple of times on our trip (they called to check in, answer questions and help us with a TV remote quandry) and even afterward. They were helpful and solicitous without being overbearing. The drive was so long for us that I'm not sure when we might be returning to MVY but when we do, we'll be calling Chris and Randy again for sure!

  We had a fantastic week on the island in this home. My family could not have asked for better weather or a nicer house. We didn't have one complaint or problem. The conveniences of the house from the appliances to the a/c can't be matched. The location is in a quiet neighborhood that is just a short walk to town. The house is special. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share it. We will be looking to stay here again next year.

  Chris, I am compelled to write and tell you how much we loved our vacation on the Vineyard. Much of it had to do with your home. It was not only beautiful and convenient to town but absolutely perfect for sleeping, cooking (when desired) and just hanging out and relaxing for my family. You had more in your kitchen then we have at our everyday home! Truly, it was even better then our expectations. Our literal neighbors going up the side street had 4 girls with them, all similar ages to our own 2, it could not have been a better situation, a little luck never hurts. They hung out and gave us free time, the parents were terrific, and again, the home was just perfect and large enough for even the neighbors to visit. I must say, we kept it in great condition also as if it were our own home because you keeping such a nice home motivates others to keep it in great shape anyway, I’m sure you recognize that. We are already thinking of going with another couple next year, starting a tradition if you will. We will certainly book earlier this time to get good ferry times. I can’t thank you enough for representing your home accurately on the internet, it makes a huge difference, in fact, in many cases the difference between a good vacation and a bad one. I know that not everyone is so truthful as we've experienced it first hand and have heard horror story after horror story from other friends about their rentals. We are now telling them about your home. By the way, Michael, your caretaker, was absolutely terrific, I'm sure you know how valuable he is. He not only answered our questions happily, but was so quick to do something or drive over when we needed him, which was not often. What a great comfort. Again, all around we had a terrific time and it was mainly due to your fabulous home, thank you again. Dave

  My family and I visited during July 4th week and had a wonderful time. The house is truly lovely, well decorated, and air conditioned too. My college aged children all loved the house and agree that we will want to stay again. We walked almost anywhere we wanted to go and the library was right across the street. The home is very clean and well maintained and I would recommend this property without hesitation.

  We rented this home to stay in while we were getting married on the vineyard! My husband and I, two other couples and my mother stayed here with us as well. We had an amazing time! The house was even bigger and better than the pictures shown. The kitchen was fabulous for entertaining, the bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the back deck with grill was a nice treat. The house is light & airy, charming, has every modern convenience & comfort and is close to town. We just loved it here!! Thank you!

Staying in a new home with all the conveniences makes it very comfortable -- AC in the summer and heat in the winter; ice cubes from the refrigerator door, and fully screened windows for those balmy days with the ceiling fans. Since I love to decorate, I enjoyed creating a cozy color scheme and warm touches. The close proximity to downtown Oak Bluffs, yet far enough to be a quiet retreat made it easy for us to select this home. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with others.   We rented this property for two weeks last summer and were very impressed. The house was very clean (it's new) and well-equipped. The layout worked very well for our family. If you want to be near O.B., this is a great location. The owners have employed a wonderful property manager who really stays on top of things. I have recommended this property to my own sister for this summer.
