Enjoy a relaxing vacation retreat. Large custom creekside cabin home plus a vintage guest cottage, accommodating up to 25 guests. There is a deck and back yard with BBQs and patio dining. Main cabin has: a huge fireplace, four bedrooms one with king size bed and one with a double sofa bed, a huge bunkhouse dorm bedroom with one queen size bed, one double bed, three single beds and a room with one queen size bed and two single beds. Vintage guest house has kitchen, dining, living room plus 3 bedrooms: One with a king size bed, one with a double bed, one with two double beds and a full bed downstairs. Suitable for large or small multi-family retreat.
Lake Arrowhead Beach Club Pass is available for hiking, picnics, fishing & swimming (Lake Arrowhead is a private lake. Guests can access the beach clubs with this pass). Granny also has high speed wireless internet access.
Off street parking for up to 5 cars. Walking distance to the lake, Lake Arrowhead Village, community, shops, outlet mall, restaurants, arcade, kiddy rides, hiking trails, bike paths. Horseback riding, boating & seasonal skiing with snowboarding & sledding in close proximity: Snow Valley, Running Springs, Big Bear, Snow Summit and Lake Gregory for boating.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Arrowhead
We wanted to keep Granny Gert's cabin "in the family". We enjoy the Dogwood blossoms as new life blooms in the spring, summertime play with our grandchildren at the lake as well as the majestic fall colors displayed along forest paths and the awesome silent beauty of the winter snowfall. We can enjoy all of this and still only be an hour from our place of business. It seems like stepping into another world.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Granny Gert's cabin has been in our family almost forever. The building started in 1929 and finished in 2007. Our family has enjoyed many warm times together here. Sometimes we just stay in our PJ's all day in front of the fireplace, playing board games or hang out in the bunkhouse dorm and laugh ourselves silly watching old movies. Some of the girls really like to bake together & shop at the village. Granny's cabin has always been a place for our large extended family of sisters, brothers, grandparents, cousins & close friends to reconnect with each other.

This was the fifth year of our retreat and the first time at Granny Gerts. Everyone had a most delightful time and everyone mentioned how well they slept. We had a really relaxing time at the cabin. We spent a lot of time with our family, just talking, cooking, playing ping pong, hiking and wondering where the teenagers went. Great Place !
