LA MIRAGE Condominiums. one hundred yards from the unit is a private boardwalk which takes you over the dunes and right to the beach.
Located just five miles south of Port Aransas on Mustang Island off Highway 361. PORT A is famous for deep sea fishing. Visitors can buy shrimp right off the boats or catch their own fish and have them cleaned and cooked at local Seafood Restaurants. We love the coastal beaches, restaurants, lots of shopping and the small village atmosphere.
Just 30 minutes to Corpus Christi takes you to The Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington (The most famous U.S. aircraft carrier), museums, New Port Dunes Golf Club is Port Aransas' new "World - Class" championship links course. Designed by Arnold Palmer and managed by Kemper Sports, New Port Dunes Golf Course is open for public play, and much more.
The complex is built around the common area of gardens, pools, hot tubs, decks, basketball/volleyball area, BBQ/picnic table, which allows shelter from windy days on the beach or shady areas away from the direct sun. The recreation room offers a great view of the ocean, a place to gather (can be rented for events), books, videos and ping pong. There are also saunas and showers available!
For additional sports activities you can watch the Ice Rayz (pro Ice Hockey team) during the winter or watch the Coastal Bend Aviators (pro Baseball - class A) in near by Robstown or the CC HOOKS , a new AA professional baseball team located in Corpus Christi affiliated with the HOUSTON ASTROS during the summer. What a beautiful condo! I was especially impressed with the fact that it has been perfectly set up for a family with young children as well! Most of our stays consist of the first few hours having to go through and "toddler proof" for our now 2 year old, which we don't mind doing, but this condo was great and we were able to immediately sink in to our vacation. The beds were so comfortable, infact, our 2 year old slept TWO HOURS LATER every day then he normally does :). There is everything that you need to enjoy yourself on your vacation!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
