This cabin stocks more amenities than any cabin we've rented; it's clean and really very nice. The property is unique among rental cabins: so much area to explore, and all so beautiful. The kids loved playing in the water. Most striking of all, however, are the two dogs that "come with" the cabin: Buster and Dixie. They are endearing, friendly, and completely entertaining. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us, Mike and Sharon!

hi mike and sharon, we really enjoyed your 120 acres again. same beautiful view and cabin. used the hot tub quite alot.shopped and hiked in ellijay/blue ridge area. of course our favorite hike was right there on the property.nothing like hiking with 2 security guards(the playful buster and dixie). enjoyed the quiet and seclusion. saw some deer and turkey. my nephew and his 2 kids showed up for the weekend. they had a blast. hiking, hot tub, wading in water near the island, and fishing. my nephew caught a 16 inch rainbow trout. he was stoked. will see ya'll again, dan and rosemary

This cabin is even better than described in the listing and more beautiful than the pictures. It is clean, stocked, beautiful. Not only was Mike helpful explaining the features (hot tub, fireplace, TV etc), he even told us how to prepare the fish we caught there! I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful property to anyone looking for a secluded stay in the North Georgia Mountains. Mike and Sharon, you do a great job! Thanks so much for letting us share your piece of paradise!

This is the best rental I have ever visited. The privacy and mountain views make for a truly relaxing get away, and the hospitality from Mike and Sharon could not have made me feel more at home.

What a wonderful cabin. It has all the amenities. It is more like staying with great friends than a cold rental. Very warm and inviting. Lots to do! Enjoyed the hiking trail. Note of caution - if you are not used to hiking, don't take the steep hill back to the cabin. We made it, but it was quite hilarious watching us make it up the hill. Cabin is spotless and has all the little details - ie toothpicks, salt and pepper, matches, etc. Loved the gas fireplace. We enjoyed relaxing around it in the evenings. Hope to return again soon.

My 2 brothers and 1 sister and I get together once a year for a weekend getaway with just the 4 of us. This was a perfect place to just lay back, relax, hike, and enjoy the company of one another. Mike was a gracious host. He came to the cabin to make sure everything was as we expected and to answer any questions. He visited with us a while, and we felt as if he was a old friend. But he also gave us all the space we needed. We are already making plans to bring our own families back here for a long weekend.

Mike & Sharon, We so enjoyed our stay at your cabin. Of course, we did not want to leave, but we had to. Everything was great! The leaves were what we came for and they were beautiful. We just happened to arrive in a cold front and some evenings were in the 20's. Perfect for the hot tub. We loved our trails. Hope to return, maybe try the summer. Thanks, Mike & Karen Link

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Five Ridge Bluff. The cabin was very well built and carefully maintained. It was also well furnished and accomodating. The views from the porch, and along the riverside nature trail, were spellbinding. Mike and Sharon are congenial hosts, who proudly and graciously share their piece of mountain paradise with their guests while not intruding on your privacy. We felt very much at home.

From the moment we drove in the driveway, we knew that we were going to have a great time. We rent a lot of private homes when we travel but none of them can quite compare to this one. It's hard to believe that you can actually rent a mountain cabin that sits on 120 acres with a river running thru it. The cabin itself is amazing. It is so well thought out with everything you could possibly need during your stay. It is spotless and decorated with quality items. It feels like it's your very own cabin. There are many many places that you can rent in this area, but trust me when I tell you that you'll regret it if you pass on renting this one. We definitely plan on coming back.

Personal e-mail received by homeowner: Hi! We stayed in your cabin 9-25 - 9-26, we had a great time. But the more important thing was how CLEAN and homey the place felt. Everything was there that you needed, all you really need to bring is your clothes and walking shoes. We do appreciate the cleanliness of the cabin and the location, the river, the view, and the trails were great. We tried to treat the cabin the way you do and leave it clean. We only hope that everyone who stays there will do the same. Thanks for the use of your cabin.

Just got back from a weekend at the cabin with four adults and four small children. Everyone had a fantastic time. Mike has done an outstanding job of providing everything needed onsite for a wonderful weekened. Cabin fully stocked, hiking trails clearly marked, wood cut for the fire ring. We had a wonderful time. If you want to really get away from it all -- this is the place.

We didn't want to leave. To us, that is the best thing you can say about some place. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. Thanks for a relaxing weekend. We'll be back hopefully soon.

My family recently visited Five Ridge Bluff and we had a wonderful time. My girls had friends with them and they all enjoyed the nature walk as well as the hot tub. The cabin was excellent and everything was as it was mentioned in the ad. We will definitely come back again.

We all had a great time this weekend! You have a wonderful place here and we'll keep you in mind next time we come up. We enjoyed the trail & saw your house Sat. while walking. Our horseback ride with Adventure Trails was really fun & we'd recommend them to your quests. Thanks again -- (Comment taken from guest book)

We still can't believe that your beautiful little cabin in the woods is real! Every detail: decoration had us looking at each other: saying "Wow." It is such a warm and relaxing space... not to mention the location! It is truly an artist's rendering. We had the most wonderful respite. Thank you for taking the time to share your beautiful home and allowing the extra time to explore the woods. The hiking was spectacular. It is obvious that Mike had a great time blazing the trails. What a magnificent retreat. Hope to return soon! -- (Comment taken from note to owner)

The cabin is located less than 90 minutes away by car from metro Atlanta region, yet makes you feel like you are in secluded mountains. It is newly built, and you can really smell it as you enter the door. It's great! The view from the back porch is just breathtaking. The interior of the cabin is decorated with a lot of thoughts and shows the good taste of the owners. The welcome bread basket was also nice touch and tasted very good (wish I had bought some on my way back.) The kitchen was very well equipped, best I've seen based on my several other cabin stays. Did fishing (bass, carp, and some unknown ones), hiking, jacuzzy, and just relaxing. It is hard to find any faults. Highly recommend the cabin and want to thank Mike for the preparation.
