Just 16 miles long and 3 miles wide, Anguilla has 30 beautiful beaches. Pristine white sands, calm turquoise waters, reefs and wrecks perfect for snorkeling and diving, gourmet dining and barbeque beachside restaurants. A rental car is recommended.
Tamarind Villa is located in Sea Rocks, an exclusive enclave of private villas. To the east (approx 1/2 mile) is the pretty fishing village of Island Harbour with grocery and convenience stores. Le Bon Pain bakery which makes the best croissants and baguettes on the island is a short walk from the villa. Island Harbour also has a good selection of restaurants. To the west (approx 1 mile) is Shoal Bay East. A 2 mile stretch of powder white sand, clear blue water and a fantastic reef perfect for snorkeling.
Tamarind was built in 2004. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (one with king size four poster bed, one with a queen four poster bed and the third room has twins beds which can be zipped together to make a king size bed), a magnificent open plan living area with wooden vaulted ceiling, a well equipped granite topped kitchen and dining area with Italian ceramic table, all of which open onto a long and spacious balcony giving a fantastic mix of ocean, pool, garden and island views. Downstairs has another living area with sofas and cable TV, kitchen/dining areas and two further bedrooms (one with a queen sized bed and the other has twin beds that can be joined to make a king size bed). Large sliding doors lead out to the generous sized swimming pool and deck with very comfortable Indian Ocean loungers and umbrellas.
Every bedroom in the villa is air conditioned with its own bathroom including glass block showers.
The villa offers plenty of space for a large group but the configuration of living areas and bedrooms also makes it well suited to smaller numbers.
