Snow is in the mountains!!!

Get ready to ski North Americas newest and highest ski lift at Breckenridge this season!!! Hike, Cross country ski, or snowshoe on the trail from our backyard. Or just enjoy the quiet. Our home gets lots of sun because it's not buried in the trees, even though the forest starts 20 feet behind our house. So you can BBQ on our South Facing deck in midwinter and see the snow outside in the trees behind our house. We are the highest lot in our neighborhood which means the best views, but it's easy to get there because we're on a maintained, plowed road.

Warm and sunny Post and Beam artists home with fantastic views beautiful South Park Valley. 28ft tall ceilings. Million dollar view. Wonderful location on 1 acre of land bordering Pike National Forest service land. View elk from the wrap around south facing deck, pronghorn antelope while driving up to the house, or bighorn sheep while hiking the 13,000 ft. peaks in our "backyard".

Fishing in our private neighborhood stocked ponds.
35 mins. to Breckenridge brings you to to excellent downhill skiing. 30 mins. south is world class white water rafting and kayaking on the Arkansas river, and Cottonwood and Princeton hotsprings open year round. The trail directly out of our backyard leads to Breakneck pass and Browns pass for endless quintessential Colorado mountain biking, Cross Country Skiing, and 4x4 adventures to remote peaks and lakes.
Great stream and river fishing 10 minutes away.

Big Game Hunting Information
Late Autumn brings world class elk hunting right to our backyard.
For those who desire Big Game Hunting Lodging, we are located in Big Game Unit 49.

About the house: 4 Bedrooms, 3 bath, 1 car garage. The main floor has 2 bedrooms and one bath. Master bedroom and bath with a 2 person jacuzzi tub are on the second floor along with a large living area and TV. Both the main and top floors have fantasitc views. Ground floor has a bedroom with a bunk bed and one bath along with a family room. Gourmet kitchen with wrap around counter will turn your cooking experience into a fun gathering. The living room contains a classic iron wood stove with glass doors so you can gaze at the fire.

Don't worry about heat, we also have normal baseboard heat to keep the home warm on those chilly nights. Exposed wooden beams frame large picture windows and a view that expands over the entire South Park. Hugh wrap around partially covereed south facing deck with plenty of sun. Perfect for BBQ in the sun.

Our back gate is Pike National Forest with 1000's of acres of wilderness and trails. Excellent Mountain Biking , Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and hunting right out of our backyard. If you're into 4 wheel driving and fishing there's plenty!!

Fairplay has a recreation center with a pool and weight room. Great fun for the family. Fairplay also has a skateboard park, ghost town, supermarket, and a bowling alley.
