  Really loved Waterscape and Mark's condo! This was our first beach vacation with young kids (3.5 & 19 months).We couldn't have found a better place to keep them busy! Mark's ground-level Condo is located near the heated pool and kid's splash pad which was perfect for our family. Every pool is gated so we never worried that they would run off and get into the pool from our backyard patio/grassed area. The Condo had everything in the unit to make it a great stay! It was clean and well stocked with essentials. Being that the kids are so young we have a lot of items to haul to the beach. The way Waterscape is designed right on the beach each unit is just steps away from the gulf! The parking garage was nice and they had dozens of carts there to help load your items to your unit. We went the last week in April and the place was mostly empty with a few other young families. I would "Highly" recommend this condo for anyone interested in a nice getaway with your spouse or young family. We will be back!

  We have a family of 4 - 2 adults/2 children. We all loved the location and unit. Mark was very kind and took the stress of traveling away. The unit is VERY WELL equipped: utensils, dinnerware, pots, pans, bake ware, you name it –the unit had it. The unit is well maintained and nicely decorated - The pictures don't do it justice. The location is great - between things to do in Fort Walton Beach and Destin. There are also places you can walk to – either beachside or on the sidewalks. We really loved having the heated pool right outside our door!! The weather was a bit chilly when we were there so the heated pool was a staple for us. The only thing we didn’t like was the pull-out couch mattresses- but I think you get that with any pullout. This was the first time we used VRBO and are extremely happy with the outcome! We would love to stay in Mark’s property again! He is a great property owner/manager.

  Mark went out of his way to meet us early for check in and anything we needed he was a phone call away! His condo has everything you need for a week stay. The couches pull out to a twin and full bed. The mattress on it could be updated a little though because you could feel the springs on your back when sleeping. The condo is right there in front of the pool on the 2nd floor so it's really easy access especially with children. Beach access is great also! One thing Mark doesn't provide is the beach chairs with the condo. It's $20 a day or you could bring your own and save some money. Overall great place to stay and I would come back again :)

  Owner response: Thank you for your review We try our best to make our customers as happy as we can. I called lane since they are new couches (2 months old) and they will be sending another matress, they did tell me that the pull outs should not me used by large adults. I quit the umbrella service because it was not reliable 3 years ago and I had to add the cost to the stay. I do have regular chairs I provide if requested since we are on the pool I can leave them out back. I also provide an aerobed on request. Glad you had a great stay even though it was a 430 am check in!

  My family (husband and 2-year-old son) and I just returned from an 8-day vacation at Mark's condo. We had an amazing time! Mark was very good about communicating with us and kept us up-to-date with new information. The condo is located right by the pool and it's quick walk to the beach. Waterscape is in a really nice location - only minutes to the main area of Destin. Lots of restaurants nearby. It was our first trip to the Emerald Coast and we cannot wait to return!!!!

  We just returned from our stay. We loved the condo as much as we loved the Okaloosa Island location and weather. The accomodations were perfect for our family of 3. The location of the condo to the heated pool was a big hit for us. We definitely plan on going back soon.

  We had a great time at Mark's condo. It was perfectly suited for my family of 4 (girls 5 and 7). We would start and end each day at the heated pool. During the heat of the day we worked our way out to the beach and back. We really enjoyed eating at Old Bay Steamer right across the street and Pandora's on Sunday's prime rib night. On a side note: Don't drive through Gulf Breeze on your way to Fort Walton. I had a $158 red light camera ticket waiting on me when I got home. .3 seconds of red! We definitely plan on going back to Waterscape after my Florida Ban is over.

  Owner response: Yes the owner also was scamed in Gulf Breeze in Janiary. The light is very quick purposefully to ripp people off! I was taking my son to college after the holidays, I was in the light when it changed I was hassled with .2 seconds ticket. I'm not sure if it is legal because it only takes a linsense picture. What a crock Gulf Breeze has always been a traffic trap! I recoomend Hwy 87 or Hwy 85 stay away from Gulf Breeze they will also give you a ticket for 4mi/hr over! On a better note thank you very much for your stay! I look forward to having you back after the Ban! Mark Handrop

  Had a great time staying for a long weekend in April. The condo was extremely clean and nicely decorated. Convenience to the pool and beach were a plus! Mark, the owner, went out of his way to be accommodating. Would love to stay here again!! Book early, he stays booked up!!!

  The condo was beautiful, Very Clean, Great location, located on the first floor, easy access to the pools. The condo is very baby friendly, Mark even had a "pack n play" crib available for us. Mark was very helpful, made everything easy and was always available. The pools are great, they have a pool for every age group. The beach was wonderful as well, just a short walk to the fishing pier. We plan on staying here again. Thanks mark for everything.

  My boyfriend and I stayed here for our spring break of 2010 and we had a wonderful experience. We were very pleased with our condo and the property was very pretty and clean as well. But Mark, whom we rented from, was even better. He had went out of his way to help us out. He was just a phonecall away and he worked very hard to make our stay as enjoyable as possible!! We had a great time in Ft. Walton, it was rather cool at our time of stay, but we made the best of it.
