Authentic two level Mexican Mission Style Villa completed in 2008, approx 1600sf plus open air garden foyer and large veranda. A very short walk to Resort Inn, Sea, golf course, all pools, general store, etc. Mi casa is nestled in a beautiful private and quiet courtyard just across the Paseo from the Resort Inn and away from the construction to the north. Step through the heavy Spanish entry door into an open air garden foyer with soothing water fountain. From there double French doors open to the ground floor living quarters or go up the outdoor tile steps to the large 2nd floor terrace with pergola for sun and stars. There you'll find beautiful iron patio furniture and 2nd master suite offering privacy and beautiful views of the Sierra de La Gigante Mountain range, golf course and village. At night..., you'll never see stars like this!!!

The house has Saltillo tile flooring throughout. It's been said by locals to be the most beautifully furnished and accessorized Casa Chica model in Loreto Bay with its custom made Spanish furniture. Both master baths come with Mexican tile, dual sink vanities, walk-in rain showers, private water closets and garden soaking tubs.

it's a three minute walk to the Resort Inn on the Sea of Cortez. The Inn offers everything you'll need including; sea kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling and full access to resort pools, restaurant, outdoor bar, pool bar and every imaginable amenity. From the Inn you can also rent mountain bikes, schedule sport fishing, diving, whale watching.., the list goes on.

Last check.., guests had special green fees at the Loreto Bay Championship 18-hole Golf Course designed by David Duval and Tom Weber with T-Times and carts conveniently available there at the Inn.

The historic town of Loreto is only 7 miles north for shopping, great authentic dining and sight seeing..., Baja's oldest Mission and fishing port is considered by locals to be the peninsula's best kept secret.

Just wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed your home in Loreto. It has very nice, comfortable furnishings. I love the large patio, watching the stars at night and waking up to the birds singing in the morning. The location is great, too! Close to the new saltwater pool, hotel amenities, the beach, the golf course, and of course the wine bar, which is very good. I guess the general store closed the week before we arrived. The people we all met were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed golfing, fishing, birding, snorkeling and relaxing. We felt very safe, even rented a car, which is a first for us in Mexico. One of our best vacations to Mexico, plan on returning! Thank You Again, Louise and Steve Portland Oregon

I think I'm one of the lucky ones to have such great guests..., it seems most of you are now repeats. I look forward to hearing from you in the future on another great vacation in Loreto Bay.

Dear Steve Having left Vancouver 8;00a.m. and dealing with changing planes in L.A. onto Loreto., arriving around 3:30, grabbing a taxi, to the Loreto Bay Inn Resort. Finally arriving at your casa around 4:30p. What a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing casa. Picked up a bottle of wine at the store, proceeded up to the sundeck, and took in all the sunset and surroundings, what a beautiful end to a long day. This place is just great, offers everything you need and more. Handy having the little general store right around the corner. Also the Inn and Golf Course facilities for lunches and dinners. We did a lot of our own cooking, as it was always nice to enjoy on the deck upstairs. Handy having the washer and dryer.., being there a month. Renting a car was easy, as we just asked the concierge at the Inn, and he arranged it for us..., we actually rented one several times. And wow, if you love to golf, its right there.., you can see the course from the upstairs deck. I can't say enough about our stay at your place..., awesome, comfortable and with all the extras. Will be coming back and passing this onto our friends. M. Spring Pender Harbour, B.C.

Me and my family stayed 5 days at Steve's casa in Loreto, in a community that looks like an "old Mexican town". The pics you see here doesn't make justice to the casa and the place, wich are beautiful. The casa has everything you need to have a wounderful stay, I found it clean and well maintained and Steve always answered all my questions about the property and the place. The beach and the pool that near the casa are beatiful. In Loreto you will have a los of things to do, like snorkeling and kayaking just a few steps from the house, sport fishing, hiking, etc. A visit to 'Isla Coronados" is a must, to see goldfish, white sand beaches with turquoise water, and sea lions, and, if you want to taste the best clams with a Corona, don't forget to visit the restaurant "Vista del Mar" just three miles south on hwy 1. Also, you can visit the old missions In Loreto, Mulege and San Ignacio. I will definitely return and recommend the casa and the place.

My wife and I spent 9 nights at Steve's casa chica, and were very impressed. The owner is attentive and easy to work with. We loved being a few minutes outside of town (Loreto), but close enough to drive in whenever we felt like it. Loreto is quiet, but has many excellent (and inexpensive) restaurants (DO NOT miss fish tacos at El Rey, which is open breakfast/lunch only!!), and has a marina with nice guys with pangas who will negotiate a price to take you fishing, snorkeling or sightseeing at the offshore national park islands. We wound up in a pod of literally hundreds of dolphins that spent 15 minutes swimming circles around our boat, jumping and playing in the wake. You NEVER forget something like this! The house is one minute from the highway, which is completely safe and easy to drive. Much of Loreto Bay Village is under construction, but the area around this house is completely built out--you don't even notice the construction unless you jog all the way down the beach and back on the road through the construction (which I recommend). Right across the street is a great beach, complete with complimentary palapas and calm water that's great for swimming, and it was never crowded. We were also a one minute walk from the neighborhood pool, which is in a beautiful setting and also not at all crowded. There is a small grocery store one block from the casa, and although prices are way higher than in town, it's convenient if you need just a couple things and don't want to get in the car. Regarding the home itself, "luxury" is not false advertising: it is beautiful, with no corners having been cut. Everything is clean and well maintained. The furniture is authentic and high end. The tiled kitchen is beautiful. The bathroom and shower are big and comfortable. The bedding is like a 5 star hotel. We slept GREAT every night! It was 95 during the days but cooled down nicely at night; in fact, we used the A/C in the bedroom, but often turned off the A/C in the family room because we simply didn't need it. This is a beautiful house in a beautiful place with an owner who is easy to work with--a no brainer if you are looking for a quiet beach vacation in an authentic Mexican town. PS everyone asks me "did it feel safe?" This is a town full of very nice people. We also drove hundreds of kilometers up and down the coast and experienced nothing but great weather, better food, nice people and beautiful scenery. Tom and Tracy--Oregon

After several stay's in Steve's, Me Casa,(flew in once and drove 3 times which I might add is a great safe drive), I decided it was about time I wrote a review on what I consider a second home without the overhead! Once I experianced Loreto Bay I always had the compelling desire to return as much as possible because of not only the luxurious accomidations on Steve's Villa but the draw of being in old Mexico where the people are warm and friendly, not only the natives but all the residents of the complex also. The choices of things to do are unlimited, especially when you walk outside the front door and look to the right seeing the 17 green of a golf course where the fairways are liks our normal greens in the states but just a short walk to the mountains for hiking or turn to the left and Loerto Bay Inn is just a few steps away with many activities at your fingertips which the photo's speak for themselves. The ocean is a few feet from the Inn and if you like the water there is nothing to say except enjoy. The town of Loreto is a friendly, safe adventure with outstanding food and all the site seeing you want so if you are looking for a place to relax, renew your love relationship and experiance the tranquility of staying in the Steve's Villa, this is definitely the place you need to experiance. :-) I just reciently got married and guess where we are going on our next vacation?????

Mi Casa is a wonderful property with about every amenity one could hope for. It took no time to feel right at home. Thoughtfully appointed with quality bedding, linens, furniture and other accents, this gem of a place is true value as well. We will definitely book again next time our travels bring us to Loreto.

We loved staying in Steve's villa at Loreto Bay. Steve was very easy to work with and answered all our questions promptly. The villa is so comfortable, with everything you could possibly need already there. Top quality furnishings, kitchen ware and linens. The pool at the complex is beautiful, as is the landscaping. Just a short walk to the beach at the resort, which also has a nice pool, bar and restaurant. We have already booked our return visit in 2011, and this time we're bringing our golf clubs!

This is a beautiful casa. Very nice to have separate upstairs bedroom with bath from master below. 2nd story patio is very nice. Very close to the beach & golf course. Course has some great holes. 10 minutes to the cute friendly town of Loreto. Great restaurants there. Overall property is still being developed. Wireless internet is a bit spotty. Owner is nice and easy to work with.

About the owner: I've traveled the globe since I was a kid through Asia, Europe, Africa, Various Islands, etc. When I discovered Loreto Bay a few years back.., I fell in love with it and bought a villa. There are always so many wonderful attributes of the different countries, cultures and people..., but Loreto was an easy choice after a few visits. I will always want to go and spend time in Loreto Bay.

THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF BAJA SUR, SERENITY, MEXICO'S INVITING AND FRIENDLY CULTURE, SLOW PACE AND LOW COST OF LIVING IS LIKE A CULTERAL SPA FOR THE MIND, BODY AND SOUL.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
Peace of mind, lots of big fish, great hikes, great food (cheap), rejuvenate, gain perspective..., always want to stay longer. Ps... I love walking out to the point where the mountains create a peninsula streching into the Sea with my fishing pole.., the fishing's great, on or off shore... :)
