Wonderful condo. Conveniently located - the condo is just a 5-minute walk to Chair Lift 20 in Cascade Village, or call the free shuttle service to pick you up to take you to the Lift (we never waited more than a couple minutes for the shuttle to arrive at our door). One wonderful feature is the free ski/ski boot storage at the base of Lift 20 - makes walking to/from the lift that much easier, plus ski boots are nice and warm in the morning. If you rent skis, you can (but not required) rent from the ski concierge that stores the skis. My group had some odd scheduling issues, and the owner was very accommodating to us. Good communication with the owner throughout the entire process. I don't hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay at Vail.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

I have a funny story about my wife and this condo. I found this condo on VRBO which we use all the time. She wasn't familiar with Cascade Resort so she was hesitant to let me book the trip. Long story short I won and booked the trip. When we pulled up at the front desk and the bellman asked if he could take our skis, poles, AND boots over to the ski concierge we gladly obliged. We checked in and were very happy with the condo. We have family that come in from all over the country to join us and the condo has plenty of room for us all to strech out relax and enjoy. The pool and jacuzzi is right around the corner and was part of our nightly ritual after skiing. The next day we walked over to the ski concierge-a shuttle is also available but we chose the short walk to warm up the legs. The team at the ski concierge are top notch. While we were putting on our boots they take your skis and poles and bring them out to the lift that is right outside the door. You walk out the door put your skis on and get on the lift. We got on the lift and I just looked at my wife with a big smile. This is the best part, she said "okay you were right this place is awesome". If that wasn't enough when we came back after a day of skiing they put your boots on dryers so they are dry and ready to go the next morning. We had a great time and look forward to next winter!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Our family spent Christmas week in this Vail condo. We have 4 teenagers and the condo worked well for us. Plenty of space and the ability to cook meals in the condo. A five minute scenic walk along the river path to use on-mountain ski and boot storage, hotel facilities and shuttles to Vail. My wife and I have come to Vail for over 25 years and usually stay at the Sonnenalp. We found this a reasonably priced option to bring the whole family to Vail and have direct access to the mountain and hotel facilites.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We and another couple stayed here two nights the end of September. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. We went on a couple hikes, saw a beautiful waterfall and the aspen leaves were perfect! We enjoyed the fireplace and grilling steaks down by the pool. The new tv is nice. The hotel amenities are great and the shuttle is convenient. We've stayed at the hotel a few times but I really liked all the space and a kitchen in the condo. I would definitely love to stay here again. Thanks Jim!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

We spent two weeks with expanding and contracting numbers in this convenient, pretty and nicely furnished unit. I loved the decor and liked looking out on pretty birch trees and mountains, and my husband appreciated how easy it was to walk to the ski lockers and lift and get on the mountain. We were happy to ski and stay in the condo as it was so pleasant to use the hot tub or cook simple meals there, but also easy to jump on the shuttle or in the car to get anywhere fast. Best of both worlds. Jim, the owner was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. We're hoping to come back, especially if our daughters stay in Colorado.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
