This Hollywood Vacation Rental will become your home away from home whenever you return to Los Angeles. The pictures say it all (think twelve foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances and granite counters), but keep reading. We're in an urban area, but on a quiet residential street. The cottage is gated. What more could you want? You are encouraged to email or call us with any questions.
We have one bedroom with a CA King bed, a full bathroom, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters, a dining area, and very comfortable living space. One off-street parking space is provided directly in front of the unit.
We are a dog-friendly property. You'll have a separate dog run off your own private deck.
Our property scores 98 out of 100 for walkability at WalkScore! The property is located blocks from everything you come to Hollywood for: restaurants, shopping, landmarks like the Hollywood Sign and the Stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Sunset Blvd, Hollywood Blvd, and Vine Street are all so close.
Oh, did I forget to mention theater and concerts? The Palladium, Pantages Theatre, Music Box, The Greek Theatre, Hollywood Bowl, and John Anson Ford Amphitheatre are all close. You also have access to the best Farmer's Market on Sundays here in Hollywood.
Hollywood is a great base for seeing all of Los Angeles. We're convenient to Downtown Los Angeles, Hancock Park, Larchmont, Melrose, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, the famed Southern California Beaches and the San Fernando Valley (including Studio City, Toluca Lake, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village, North Hollywood, etc.).

Wow Wow Wow this place is an awesome place to stay if you are visiting LA. The pictures and description are exactly how the unit is. It is very clean, tidy and comfortable to stay out with everything you need for cooking etc. All the email contact I had with Scott was excellent, all my inquiries were answered quickly and had enough details that I didn't have to follow up requesting anything else. Within Walking distance to everything......We had a car but only used it when going on longer trips otherwise we were able to walk everywhere. It is so close to nearly everything you need or want. Scott left us information about shops nearby, I would recommend Trader Joe's to grab food etc for self cooking and we loved the Veggie Grill which was about 2 blocks away. If we come back to LA this would be the first and only place I would want to stay at and I would recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I stayed at this wonderful property with my husband and 7 and 9 year old children. There was ample room for us all. The cottage is just as you see it in the photo. it is high quality and tasteful. Unlike other rental properties I have stayed in, there was ample cutlery, crockery and utensils. It was so clean and well presented when we arrived, it was a joy. The bed was incredibly comfortable with a feather duvet and ample pillows. The location is great, with many things within walking distance. We felt safe and were grateful for the parking space. We received very clear instruction about how to get there and how to enter the property on arrival. We had one query during our stay, on a Sunday evening, and we got an immediate response from the owners. The only suggestion I would make would be to have a visitor's book in the property as it is always great to read what other people have discovered during their stay! I would highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time in Hollywood! This location was prime for everything we wanted to do. Walking distance to Trader Joe's and the amazing Walgreens store made "living" an ease. We have never known a Walgreens to have a market and Sushi -YUM!! Scott was kind enough to take time out and mail us something that was left at the property by mistake. The home was clean and getting checked in was a breeze! If we visit HW again - this home will be top on our list of places to stay! Thank you Scott!Did you find this review helpful? Our stay at Scott's place was great! Everything was very clean and neatly arranged. The house is small but very cosy, perfect for short stays. It is located very close to Sunset Blvd and all of Hollywood's main attractions. Scott was very easy to contact and was able to answer all of our questions and concerns regarding the booking process. Thank you very much!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This is our first vacation staying away from hotels. I had to convinced my wife to try out staying in a cottage instead of boring hotels which are mostly small and expensive. Over at the cottage, it has everything and what has shown on the pictures is as good as one will get. A perfect place to stay that is very comfortable, clean and convenient. Close proximity to grocery store where you can get most of the essential stuffs. So no need to pack those shampoo, conditioners, etc. It is all here. Relieve on your luggage weight. Oh, one more thing, another point that I had to convinced my wife is to pack light. Save all those luggage space for all your shoppings. Easy to use washing machine and dryer. So quiet that you can even leave it to run after a long day out and let it do the work while you sleep. The surrounding is peace and quiet. It does not make you feel like you are within the city. A nice place to rest yourself after a long day out roaming around Hollywood. Accessible TV channels (lots of channel) that will keep you or kids occupied after a long day out. You know how it is with kids. Their energy level is much higher than us even after a long day out at Universal Studio. Oh, including accessible to internet that help you keep in touch with your family online. Last but not least, Scott and Hilliard have done a wonderful preparations prior our arrival. It is truly an ideal vacation with hassle free check in and check out. Literally, it is like getting in and out of your own vacation house but this one is prepared clean upon your arrival. This is our first but definitely not our last for an ideal vacation accommodation. Highly recommended! Great job Scott and HilliardRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Unfortunately it was booked for the other nights we needed. The place was wonderful. It was nicely decorated, extremely quiet, and it had everything we needed. The location could not be better. We were within walking distance of so many restaurants, the theater, the Walk of Fame, and the grocery store. Scott was so accessible for any questions we might have had, and Hilliard was so nice. We could not have picked a better place. Thank you so much Scott and Hilliard. We will be staying with you again when we are back in LA.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Wow, this place definitely lived up to our expectations. EXACTLY like the photos! The decor is lovely and it was spotlessly clean when we arrived. I visited with my husband and sister, and there was plenty of room for the three of us. So much better than a hotel room! The kitchen is spacious and the laundry is very conveniently placed. We loved the location and although it's near a busy area it was quiet at night. It was central for all the things in LA we wanted to see, and it's so close to the Chinese Theatre, Griffith Park, and Paramount Studios. Ameoba Records and the Arclight Cinema was within walking distance too. One day we took the Warner Brothers studio tour and it was only a 10 min drive! If you want to take a Starline bus tour it goes right along Vine, just down the block. So close! With the gated driveway we felt very secure, the off street parking was much appreciated as the street parking was often completely filled up. Scott and Hilliard made us feel very welcome and we'd definitely come back here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I don't know how we were so lucky to find this rental, but it's the best VRBO we ever rented! Clean, clean, clean.... So spacious compared to awful hotel rooms. Everything is perfectly laid out for a roomy atmosphere We loved having the washer/dryer and iron/ironing board in the cottage. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. And, anyone who has ever stayed in California must know how much a gated property WITH parking available means. Such a luxury to just push a button and arrive at your own parking space right at your door -- with security lights everywhere! Scott and Hilliard are such great hosts. They looked after us like we were family. They took the time to tell us about places that suited our interests and then would ask how we liked our excursions. All of the things we wanted to do were 1-2 miles away! This is a perfect location. A nice residential area, with so much to do just a afew blocks away. The studios, museums, Griffith Observatory, The Grove, Mullholland Drive, tours - you name it and it's nearby. I loved driving over to the Fairfax Avenue Farmer's Market/Grove for lunch and a stroll, or for dinner after a show taping. Believe me, if you are looking for the PERFECT spot - stop looking. It's right here. We were here for a month, and the time just flew by. We will be back next October - that's a sure thing. Denise and Carl (Pennsylvania)Did you find this review helpful? This place is perfect with every amenity you'll ever need, and is beautifully furnished. The location can't be beat too, it is literally beside Trader Joe and the Arclight cinema, and is a short walk from all the Hollywood attractions. It's in a residential side street that is so peaceful it's hard to imagine that you're in the heart of Hollywood. Scott made us feel very welcome and was very attentive to our needs, and prepared all the information we would need for our stay. This is very belated, but thanks Scott for making our stay in LA an unforgettable one. Sorry we missed you that day, got your note and meant to write but forgot about it in the heat of packing! Hope to catch you next time we're in LA - Luke and ChristinaRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I visit LA often to see my little grandson and this housing arrangement worked perfectly. We BBQ'ed, ate outside on the stone patio table, and cooked breakfast in the spacious kitchen area. The bed was super comfortable and my grandson loved walking on the deck to the dog run in the back (his "secret path"). It was great to be close to Rite Aid, Trader Joe's and Hollywood Blvd. We had the best time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Hollywood:
We love Hollywood and the surrounding areas and wanted to be able to share it with others.
