Lake Austin Spa Resort, recently rated the top spa in the country by Conde' Nast, is just a minutes away for a massage or other deluxe spa treatment of your choice.
Lake Austin is great for kayaking, tubing, wake boarding early morning water skiing and year round fishing. 'Just For Fun Austin' is a boat rental place that is a short drive away and there is a neighborhood boat loading ramp aproxamately 50 feet from the driveway to the house. This house also has its own private boat dock with a sunning deck on top.

The house was a perfect fit for 6 people but not if you are all adults. Two rooms are for children, twin beds with trundle beds. If you have adults who are not couples then you truly have only 4 bedrooms that work. The water pressure in the master bath shower was not very strong. The water that came out of the faucet in the kitchen smelled bad. The view was spectacular and the area was nice and quiet. I would recommend it for a getaway just not for a large group of people that are sleeping in separate beds.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our friends invited us for a weekend getaway and we absolutely fell in love with the house. It was spacious, inviting and we are already planning a return trip!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My daughter graduated from UT Austin in December so family and friends from California and Mexico traveled to celebrate the occasion. We wanted a place where we could spend time together and this house was just perfect. Plenty of rooms and so comfy that we all really feel it like being at home. It also has an incredible view and it is so quiet there that you can't help but relax and enjoy. Even the teens had a great time playing in the game room. Conveniently located at about 20 minutes from downtown, you shouldn't miss it!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We came into town for SXSW and stayed at this beautiful lake house. The kitchen was large, we sunbathed on the dock, slept well in the bedrooms and entertained guests in the downstairs game room. This lake house provided an accommodating environment for a group reunion. We hope to return again next year!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We had our first annual Corporate retreat here and this house was amazing. We choose this house because of its location. We rented a small boat and jet skis and docked them on our own dock over night. My fiancée loved the location so much we have decided to book it for our wedding. Pros: Close to Downtown, Beautiful Scenery, Beautiful house, Lots of nearby family activities. Cons: NoneRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My boyfriend and I came down for a weekend on a Friday afternoon and were greeted with by such a beautiful sight! The house was impeccably clean and quiet and just what we needed. It's right on a bend of the lake and it's got a great secluded feel. We made dinner in the fabulous kitchen and then sat out and watched the stars on the dock...it was so lovely! We also ventured out into Austin and the drive was short (about 15 min.) and so beautiful! Through winding trees and hills, you don't even feel like you're near any city. We will certainly be returning again! Thanks for a wonderful time!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
