  Thanks again for sharing your home with my family. We had a great time and your house was very comfortable and accommodating. All of my siblings, nieces and nephews were impressed and we plan to come back for many more outings. I would highly recommend this rental to everyone, except for those times when I want to rent it.

  It is a great place for family or friends wanting to stay in and around Ladysmith,WI. Large Walmart has all your shopping needs about five blocks away. My family stayed here twice and each time we stayed it felt like we were at home very clean it has a nice patio over looking the river and the living room was a nice place to watch tv or just chat with family. Kitchen had everything you might need, bedrooms were nice and roomy. Most of all the owners did everything to make our stay enjoyable and also helped out with last minute reservations. This place is 100 times better then any hotel/ motel, you won't go wrong staying here.

  My siblings and I planned a mini reunion to coordinate with a class reunion. Riverview Retreat met our needs and then some. Everything said in the owner's web ad and other guest reviews is true. This retreat is a real north woods gem! You really need to stay there to appreciate how much effort the owners put into making your stay memorable. It is spacious with quality furnishings and charming touches plus radios and cd's to listen to, movies to watch, games to play, books to read, alarm clocks, etc. Cable and Wi-Fi worked great. Weather was too cool to enjoy the outside decks but I can imagine morning coffee or balmy, starlit evenings on both.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  We spent a wonderful 5-6 days in this lovely home. It proved to be the perfect family retreat. It easily accommodated our daughters and their spouses. Located on the Flambeau River, local businesses can hook you up w/fishing, floats, and canoes. We could enjoy cofee on the 'deck' (a spacious area over the 2-car garage!) and grill on a smaller deck out the back door. This home is beautifully appointed as well as fully equipped in the kitchen as well as the 2 1/2 bathrooms. The pictures you see here are accurate. The groundskeeper is very kind and helpful and the house was spotless. All this located close enough to the Minneapolis airport to make the drive worth it!

  This is a really lovely place. Very clean, with beautiful gardens and a lovely view of the river. The furniture and decor is gorgeous. The caretaker made sure everything was perfect for us without interfering or hovering. The house is laid out in such a way that it is perfect for getting together as a group, but also perfect for everyone having their own space as needed. Highly recommended.

  We very much enjoyed our stay at this Ladysmith property. The deck is lovely, and a great place for morning meditation or evening drinks. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed, and more! We appreciated the wine and flowers that greeted us. And when the AC broke down on the July 4th weekend, the property manager had it fixed quickly (not an easy task on a holiday!) Thank you for sharing your home. We hope to return again next year.

  Very comfortable with room to spread out. Loved the deck overlooking the river! The wine, chocolates and fresh flowers were very welcoming and and appreciated! Thank you!

  We absolutely LOVE the house here in Wisconsin. It has been so perfect for us. George and Wayne had fresh flowers, truffles, and wine waiting for us. Such a special touch. Wish we could stay longer, maybe next year we will.

  We truly enjoyed our weekend at your beautiful "retreat." The special touches were really appreciated. We all loved the chocolates!!!!! We really wanted to put the king-size bed in our vehicle and bring it home with us... It was so comfy. Thank you for a great home in which to relax in for a few days.

  Just a quick note to let you know that we are getting ready to depart, and to say THANK YOU for opening up your home! We had a wonderful stay, and were very pleased with the accommodations and amenities (the fresh flowers were an unexpected delight)! Just as we had hoped, it was a wonderful "home base" for our extended family in town for "The Ladysmith Story" opera premiere and a nice setting for our family reunion.
