  Rating: 5/5 The cabin is cute and cozy. My only disappointment was the fireplace is gas and i love a real wood fireplace, I am sure it said it was a gas fireplace somewhere. The location is great and you can hear the rushing water of the river. It is a short walk to the river and fun to walk along it and explore. The mountain air is so refreshing. We had a wonderful time and the staff of Vacasa was very helpful and accomodating. Great vacation!

  A very comfortable house. This house was very clean and comfortable. We spent our days hiking on different trails on Mt. Hood, and this house was convenient to those trails and to the stores and restaurants. It was so nice to have all the big windows, so we had plenty of natural light. The "yard" seemed neglected, and the huge rock planter, full of weeds, was in the way for us to park our full sized truck up next to the house. But the inside was well taken care of. The water has a slight sulfur smell, but it didn't alter the taste. We filled up our water bottles for our hikes and didn't taste a thing. The only thing that was missing was a cutting board in the kitchen. Other than that, for the 2 of us, it had everything we needed. We would rent this house again.

  We stayed at the Brightwood Cabin over the Labour day weekend for three nights and four days. We had excellent time, and would recommend it for a couple or small family. It was perfect four our small family of three. It is located near several Mt. Hood lakes, and hiking grounds. Perfect for folks who want to get away from the city to have a relaxing stay.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

  My husband and son stayed at the cabin while skiing at Meadows. My daughter and I went up to join them for a day. The cabin is adorable and clean. Your staff was awesome, friendly, responsive. Thank you so much!

  The cabin was great. We came for my sons 6th birthday - and it snowed!!! The kids loved the cozy winter wonderland. The hot tub was also a big plus. The loft was great for the kids, and there is a park just across the street with lots of great walking trails and wonderful views. There is a restaurant just down the street, El Burro, which was just unbelievable - best Mexican food I've ever had. We had a fabulous time!

  There is no Wildwood Cafe - instead look for the orange sign of the Wildwood Motel on Hwy 26. The roadway to the cabin is through the white rock pillars across the highway (north side). We arrived in the evening and found no roadside address posted for the cabin. Luckily, their kind neighbor who was walking his dog directed us to the correct driveway. Also, if you want to use the hot tub during cold weather adjust its temperature when you first arrive...it took it 24 hours to go from 82 to 104 degrees (top end). The cabin is awesome & in a terrific location...and they have free Wifi!! Remember to bring a decent skillet & steamer to complement the almost complete kitchen.

  Great place. House is well set up with everything you need. There is no cable but a few good DVDs to watch. Driveway is a little hard to maneuver a large vehicle in and out. Great assortment of games for the kids. Close to the mountain for skiing. We will be back. Hope owners might consider a hot tub. Great location and a wonderful cozy house, Thank you for sharing.
