Casa Infinito is a fantastic rental The owners Sheryl and Duncan are immediately responsive to any questions and proved very helpful. The casa sits high on a ridge and we daily saw parrots, toucans and monkeys from the pool. There were 4 couples staying at the Casa and there was still plenty of room. The drive from the main road is harrowing the first time but became old hat by the 3rd or 4th trip. Several local restaurants are 5 minutes away. We also had a local restaurant cater for us twice and it was great. Pizza delivery is also available for late night snacks. The managers Elena and Christine were top notch and serious about providing the very best experience for us. We LOVED it! You don't need to look any further. DarylDid you find this review helpful? During my group (of 9)'s travel in Costa Rica, Casa Infinito was unquestionably the best experience we had. Would strongly recommend it for anyone planning a several day stay in the Jaco region. Virtually everything about Casa Infinito is wonderful. Here is a short list of the 10 best features: 1. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the forest 2. State of the art washing and drying machines, detergent included. 3. Grill + full set of grilling tools to make that mean delicious steak 4. Fast and reliable internet service 5. Luxurious rooms, each with their own name and specialized decor 6. Villa all by itself, perfect for playing music or partying late into the evening 7. 24 hour security and house alarm feature for added feeling of safety 8. A selection of umbrellas for rainy days 9. 3 binders of DVDs with an array of movies from romantic comedies to action to horror films. 10. 24 hour security and an alarm system for added safety. There are a few minor inconveniences such as the necessity of having a rental car and it being a 15 minute drive from Casa Infinito to Jaco. But all things considered, we had an amazing time and would elect to return to Casa Infinito in a heart beat if we ever came back to the area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The family truly enjoyed our week at Casa Infinito. This was one of our most memorable family vacations due in large part to the comforts provided by the house. The house is maginifcent and fully equipped with everything needed for any size family. We cooked breakfast and dinner there routinely and even had everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. The location is great - secluded but just a stone's throw away from the restraunts, shops and beaches of both Jaco and Playa Herredura although I would reccomend a 4WD rental car to navigate the driveway. The managment company was easy to work with as well. Finally, I should give a special shout out to Abner who provided transportation to and from San Jose Airpport and local knowledge and help when needed. I definately reccomend choosing Casa Infinito for anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We just returned from an amazing week at Casa Infinito. If you are thinking of staying in the Jaco/Hermosa area, look no further. This house is spectacular. We are a family of 5, including 3 children under 12. The kids loved the pool and the entire family loved the layout and spaciousness of the house. Everything you need is here: grill, beautiful kitchen with blender, coffee pot, panini press, coolers for day trips, etc. It is so peaceful there. I loved getting up early every morning and sitting out on the patio and watching the birds cruise the forest below. The property is very well maintained and the owners are very nice and easy to work with and will answer any questions you may have. We did many day trips from here including Manuel Antonio, Carara National Park, Poas Volcano, zip-lining and waterfall adventures. It was so nice to return to Casa Infinito and let the kids pick a movie from their well-stocked DVD collection and relax. I have only been home for 2 days and I already miss the sounds and the views and the solitude of Casa Infinito and Costa Rica. You won't be disappointed! Thank you Sheryl and Duncan for the opportunity to enjoy your amazing home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

One always wonders if pictures are too good to be true. If what is marketed will truly be delivered. If high expectations will be realized, lived out and even surpassed. Well, our stay at Casa Infinito answered all of our questions and exceeded all of our hopes. Truly nothing was overstated and all was fulfilled as pormised. Spacious, elegant, inviting, modern, functional, peaceful and nestled gently into a setting that was breathtaking. The only thing that challenged us was walking or jogging the immediate hills, and even that was good for our hearts and bodies! We would highly recommend this getaway into Paradise! This home was truly a treat. The owners were awesome. They called once we arrived and made sure everything was ok. The company in town was top notch. This house is wired for everything. If you are technology challenged this might not be the house for you unless you bring a 8 year old kid. The other thing with this home is it is made to conserve energy. All doors & windows must be closed for a/c to work. This house is a one of a kind it's breathtaking at sunset. They do have security guards they are awesome. They drove by the casa every hour. They did such a good job I bought them a pizza. So please return favor and buy security dinner. Remember they are the closest people around if something happens. Make sure you have a 4x4 also. Bottom Line is I have stayed in nice resorts all over world. This was one of the best vacations I have been on in a long time. Truly relax in the natural surrounding with modern amenities. The home is a nice beautiful high end home. Ok it's not a mansion but come on. Only thing I didn't like was only two TV's in home master bedroom upstairs and living room has a nice TV. House has nice and fast Internet so that was easy to overcome. I can't think of anything negative to say: Great home & owners and staff. So pick this house and you will love it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were 2 middle aged couples with a total of 4 kids 9, 12, 13, 18 and we stayed 1 week. It was everything advertised and more. The owners Sheryl and Duncan were extremely helpful before our stay with numerous emails. It was our first trip to Costa Rica so we had many questions. Once we got to Costa Rica Gabriel (Beach Home Property Management) was very professional and helpful. We had a family emergency back in the U.S. and Gabriel did everything he could to help us. Sheryl called us within the first day or so to check in on us and make sure all was well. If you have 2 or more couples I'd be hoping that I won the coin toss as to who gets to stay in the Master Bedroom. Our friends were very kind to allow us to stay in the Master Bedroom without any discussion. The 2 boys 12 and 18 stayed in the Jungle Escape Room, but it would be nice for a couple as well as an alternative to the Master Bedroom. The house was spacious, the kithchen had plenty of room for up to 4 people preparing meals and the dinner table sat 8 with plenty of elbow room. It was well equipped to put together a quick snack or a gourmet meal. The pool was as imagined and the outside furniture was comfortable and NOT flimsy cheap stuff. I particularly enjoyed the evening swim watching the geckos have their buffet of insects near the outside lights. While outside in the morning the din of insects, birds, and other animal noises was very soothing and in the background the crash of waves made you realize how close to the ocean you really are but at the same time having all the joys of being isolated from the crowds. No monkeys or toucans, but we had a pair of Macaws fly by at least once a day usually early morning. There is plenty of hanger space and chest of drawers in all the rooms to provide space for your clothes, they provide bathrobes in each room and you don't have to bring beach or bath towels because they have those there as well. The entertainment center was wonderful, after a long day of beach/sightseeing, etc, a movie on the digital system was very relaxing. The 20% road grade from the subdivision entrance to the guard house provided the family a daily adventure in the car. So if your looking for good surfing or access to the more popular sight seeing attractions in Costa Rica and want to stay on the West Coast, DO NOT HESITATE to lay down the cash for this place. It will be hard not to stay there again when we go back to Costa Rica.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This property has it all.....Luxury and Comfort, most importantly Privacy and Convenience to Jaco and the Beaches. The property is maintained meticulously and affords stunning hilltop views of the Pacific and the surrounding Jungle. From the magnificent Master Suite Deck we viewed Macaws in the wild, Giant Toads come for a visit in the evening, and the soothing infinity pool is perfect for relaxation. Nothing for comfort has been overlooked by the owners of Casa Infinito.....Do not hesitate to stay here....the driveway is long and winding, but worth the drive, certainly not a negative because how else would you arrive at such unique privacy ? We had a quick check in and a complete, private, personal orientation of the home by the managing agent. Our exit was equally efficient and our security deposit was released to us within 24 hours. Do not miss staying at this lovely home.....Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The only reason I’m giving this a 5 star rating is because it only goes to five. Everything about this vacation was a great experience – dealing with Duncan and Sheryl at the beginning, getting to the property, dealing with Gabriel (the local property manager), and then staying at this marvelous property – and it was a trip of a lifetime. The property was exceptionally well appointed with everything you could need. We enjoyed many great meals, sitting out on the patio watching the sunsets, cooling off in the pool and relaxing at the end of the day watching DVDs. We had three couples stay in four bedrooms and there was plenty of room for us all. I strongly recommend bringing binoculars to watch the monkeys playing in the trees in the distance. Without condition I strongly recommend Casa Infinito as a vacation rental and would not hesitate to rent it again in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Infinito with two other couples, to celebrate our 50th birthdays. The place was exactly as advertised, and exceeded my expectations. The owners phoned to ensure we were enjoying our stay, and to make sure all was to our liking (which it was, and more). We saw monkeys in the trees just below the house, iguanas visited our patio, coatimundi crossed our fairways (golf at Los Suenos/Marriott in Playa Herradura highly recommended) and toads as big as your head came-round to sample the fantastic array of insects on display every evening (but not to worry - they were all outside, never inside). "Gabriel" with the management office in Jaco got us settled easily, and even helped to arrange a dive trip and recommend restaurants, etc. (don't miss Lemon Zest in town and El Hicaco on the beach). My wife and I enjoyed a multi-course meal at El Hicaco, prepared to perfection, with drinks, dessert, tax and tip for ~$35 USD. Also, if you like good old-fashioned NY style pizza as a break from the awesome seafood, Big Ron's in Jaco-proper can't be beat (and he's an awesome dude). We drove down to Esterillos Oeste (a few miles south of the house) and had wicked ceviche, and purchased Dorado right from the fisherman for grilling later at Casa Infinito. I have spent a lot of time in Central America (Costa Rica, Honduras and El Salvador), and this is by far the best place I've stayed, with conscientious owners with a high-degree of pride in their property. Duncan and Sheryl rock!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband, two teenage children (a girl, 16 and a boy, 13) and my best friend stayed at Casa Infinito for a wonderful week last December. I am a flight attendant and we travel extensively throughout the world. And we all say that our stay at Casa Infinto was one of our very favorite vacations ever! The house is beautiful and well equipped. The Pool is beautiful and relaxing. We loved the birds singing and the monkeys playing as we relaxed on the upper deck in the evenings. There are many fun day trips to take advantage of nearby as well. We went zip lining and white water rafting and laughed all day long, everyday! It was pure magic being there in Costa Rica and Casa Infinto. Ohhh...I wish I were there right now!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Casa Infinito was as beautiful as the pictures depict. Everything was top of the line, and the cleanliness was particularly impressive. Even the OUTSIDE tile areas were spotless when we arrived. The low-chlorine pool really was superior to other pools; very clean, no smell, and your skin feels better after swimming. The property is on a steeper and more winding road than we had expected. We rented a car with manual transmission, and that is probably necessary to get up the steep hill. Didn't need four-wheel drive though. The lower level "jungle room" is actually a separate structure, though joined by a tiled and covered area. We had seven extended family members there, and had plenty of spaces where all seven could gather comfortably, both indoors and outdoors, but also had plenty of opportunities for privacy in individual spaces. That glass dining room table is larger than it looks and we had some great dinners as well as games there. Kitchen had large quantities of every possible dish, glass, pan, and gadget (except a coffee bean grinder). We kept two of the coffee makers going -- one for caffeine and a separate one for decaf. TV, internet connections and all electronic worked great. They warned us of frequent power outages, but we didn't have more than a brief flicker during our week there. We were disappointed that we saw so little wildlife. We had unrealistic expectations of monkeys and scarlet macaws running around the whole area. Not true at Casa Infinito, or anywhere we went, which included Manual Antonio. I was up at 5:30 every morning looking for monkeys that sometimes are on the Casa Infinito property but never saw any. In addition to the wonderful house, we were impressed with the people at Beachhome Costa Rica. Gabriel led us to the house and showed us around, and Hugo helped several days on various tours. Both were very knowledgable and helpful. We consumed lots of Hugo's time with questions and he was quite patient with us. Also both of them have perfect English (and I imagine also perfect Spanish). We really like the Britt coffee tour (near San Jose), but my favorite activity was Rafa, the "Father of the Monkeys." It isn't advertised, but Hugo told us about it. Rafa took us in his boat to areas where Capuchin monkeys know him. He gave us smears of bananas on our hands and the monkeys came and took it. If you love monkeys, this is fabulous.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

Wow, this is a beautiful property. The home is bigger than it looks in the pictures and there was enough room for 6 guys to sleep comfortably. Scaling the hills to get to the property was an adventure in itself. We went to Jaco for a long guys weekend fishing trip and were not disappointed - 4 sailfish and 3 tuna which we took to a local restaurant to bring waves and waves of sashimi plates to us. Amazing. The owner of the property called to check in on how we were doing and gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant (Lemon Zest), which was our best meal of the trip. The owner and property management were great to us and extremely helpful in making our stay memorable. Now unfortunately for the bad (Reason for no 5 star review) - We checked out with the property management and went back to the States only to receive an email from the property management that there were 9 facial towels missing. We did not see nor use any facial towels while we were there, but had to pay to replace them. Lesson learned, check the inventory sheet with the property management before you check in.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Thank you Sheryl, we had a great trip to Casa Infinito! Aside from all the wonderful sights and activities in the area (including good surfing at Playa Hermosa nearby, not great when we were there anyways) our stay at Casa Infinito was great. This wonderful property really made the trip special. Great views from all around the house and the infinity pool was great for swimming, and just lounging around. This house could easily accommodate a larger party so we had lenty of room to spread out. The kitchen and rest of the house is well appointed. Everything we needed for cooking was in the kitchen, plates, silver, pans, gas grill, nice knives and cutting boards are all provided. The juicer really came in handy for all the limes we used for ceviche and margaritas! Might need more towels if you have 8 people, but there is a washer and dryer which is great. Was able to hookup my iPod to the sound system which plays thru the main house and outside which was very nice. There was plenty of wildlife around to keep things interesting with parrots, bats, frogs, iguanas and plenty of bugs and spiders but not so many as to be a nuisance. Nearby Jaco was a bit nicer than I imagined with decent grocery shopping, restaurants, etc but still a little rough around the edges. Don't expect to pay any less than you would in the US for anything though! We went to the beach at Playa Hermosa near the Backyard Bar which was nice for surfing but not exactly ideal for just laying on the sand (the dark sand is hot!) we found nicer beaches for that further south and in Manuel Antonio. Zip lining at Los Suenos was not to be missed either. The property feels very safe and secure with 24 guards who were very friendly. Also the Beachhome Costa Rica staff was courteous and professional. Thanks to them all for a great trip. Hope I get a chance for a Costa Rican getaway to Casa Infinito again soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This house is truly a paradise. We found the house very clean and tidy. We first went to the local property managers' office in Jaco, where we were greeted by Hugo, their representative. We signed the proper paperwork and then we followed him to the house. There we encounter a 24 hr security gate manned by bonded security guards. As we drove into the development we found very few homes which made it very private. As we entered the home, escorted by the property manager, we found the house to be more amazing than what we had seen on the pictures. Hugo, was very friendly as he showed us through the whole house. Everything we needed was there for our week stay. The only problem we had was with the internet connection which was down for a couple of days. You will need a car even though the beach is only a few minutes away and the town is less than 10 minutes away by car. You can work something out with a local taxi driver. They are very friendly and would love to drive you around. The evenings were great to hear birds singing and the sound of the waves as they hit the beach is truly amazing. The pool can be used around the clock for a refreshing dip or just to lay around and watch the stars. You can also find plenty to do in Jaco. Fine restaurants or buy your own food and cook at home. You can also fish, surf and or do some horse back riding. Just make sure you shop around. You will find prices for activities here way cheaper than what you might be paying right now…Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
