Charles was wonderful, as advertised. The apartment was well-organized and cozy, as advertised. I will absolutely look to this apartment, first, if I should find myself returning to Paris for another vacation.

Every positive remark in the previous reviews are true. This appartment is very nice and so is the area. When we were there, it was freezing outside. In the appartment it was cosy and warm. We went "home" for lunch and a warming up in between sightseeing in the morning and afternoon. We walked, travelled by Metro (Hôtel de Ville and Rambuteau are nearby) and we used the Vélib cycles (Rue des Blancs Manteaux). We can recommend two restaurants just a few steps away from the appartment: one is the neighbour Italian restaurant Salento, the other one is Thai restaurant Suan Thaï. We were allowed to use the appartment just to our departure at the end of the afternoon. That was really comfortable seen the weather circumstances. We can highly recommend this appartment.

Dear Mr Delle-Case, We arrived home safely friday evening. We had a great time in your appartment. It was cold outside but when we arrived inside it was cosy and warm, we felt very much at home. We enjoyed the restaurants in the street, it was very easy to have nice restaurants just a few steps from the frontdoor. We are looking forward to a future stay in 45, rue du Temple. Thank you! Kind regards, Annemieke and Henk

I can't say enough nice things about this wonderful apartment where I spent a month from Nov 13 to Dec 13. From my first contact with Charles, it was apparent he was professional and trustworthy. He was waiting for me upon my arrival, and as others have said, was gracious enough to carry my bags up the staircase. He thoroughly explained all the features and appliances in the apartment, including how to fold out the bed. Any additional questions I had were answered by the notebook in the apartment with all the operating instructions for the washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV and stereo. The apartment was larger than I expected and very comfortable. I looked forward to coming home every day after being out and about in Paris. And the staircase was not bad at all. Yes a lot of steps but after the first day of climbing while jet lagged, they were a non-issue. I always had hot water for the wonderful shower, and the wifi worked without a glitch. The bed was comfortable, not at all like the lumpy pullout sofas I've been accustomed to here in the states. In fact, I liked having the sofa bed, as it provided a nice place to sit during the evening rather than on a bed all the time as I saw in other studios. There were plenty of towels provided, and everything you needed in the kitchen, including two coffee makers (an American style Mr. Coffee type maker and the wonderful Nepresso machine). There were several small drawers for storing clothes and other items, and plenty of closet space. The weather was quite cold while I was in Paris and in fact, I saw the first snow of the season. But the apartment was never cold, with great heaters to keep the place cozy. The location is fantastic! 3 minutes and you are in Rue Rambuteau, with numerous groceries, take-out places, bakeriers, butcher shops and a Nicholas wine store. 5 minutes in the other direction and you are on Rue de Rivoli, at the Hotel de Ville. Convenient access to two different metro lines meant it was easy to get around the city. Don't hesitate to rent this charming apartment -- it is a real find in terms of space, location and price. I've been home less than a week and I miss my morning Nepresso and looking out all the windows on the Rue du Temple neighborhood.

Excellent apartment in Paris!! Charles met us at the place and explained everything. Clean, comfortable and great location. Has everything u need and walking distance to many sites and easy access to metro. We are heavy sleepers so no issues but if u are a light sleeper the noise may bother you but it will be worth it due to the great location!! Its also 4 floors up with no elevator if that is a problem for you, but no big deal for the average person.

We stayed at this apartment for the month of February 2012. We can't praise this apartment enough. This was our first time renting through vrbo and we were a little apprehensive, however we shouldn't have worried as everything went so smoothly. The apartment is very clean, modern and in a great location. We found the apartment had everything we needed for a long stay. For example, dishwasher, washer/dryer, hair dryer, iron, coffee machine etc. All appliances are also of excellent quality. Anyone staying short or long term would have everything they need. The owner greeted us and explained how everything worked in great english, then left us to enjoy our stay, but was always an email or call away if we needed anything. We loved the location, on Rue Rambuteau which is just along the street and you will find everything you need for food. There are a few great boulangeries, patisseries, fishmongers etc and a supermarket Franprix. If you follow the small road near to the apartment Rue Geoffroy l'Angevin there is a very inexpensive budget supermarket on the corner which is perfect for long stays if you need to top up on kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc If you walk along Rue de la Verrerie you end up on Rue du Roi de Sicile, which is great for some nearby bars and cafes. Despite record low temperatures we found the apartment coped more than adequately, the heaters were great and kept the flat warm so anyone staying in winter needn't worry. The sofa bed was very comfortable and great to just pull down at the end of night and have all ready made up. We were really surprised at how quiet the street was, having stayed in Paris before, we expected a bit of traffic noise but it was very quiet. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and hope to use this apartment again on our next stay.

We stayed from January 20 - January 30 in Paris at a wonderful apartment. Charles was great giving us directions to the apartment and he was their waiting when we arrived! It was great to have him there to help carry all our bags up the stairs. Charles showed us everything we would need to know about the place and had reference books if we couldn't remember how to turn on the washer and dryer. The apartment had everything we could want. It was very clean and the description and photos from the website were exact! We went to the local markets each day and made dinner in a few nights. Every store, restaurant, bar, and market are just a short walk away! The neighborhood is very friendly, safe, and quite. There are two metro stops near by, so it's only a 5 min walk to the apartment. This was our first time in Paris and defiantly won't be our last. Afterall it was under the Eiffel Tower where my partner and I got engaged on Jan. 22nd! We plan on coming back very soon and we will be staying here again! While you're staying here you need visit the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, shopping down the Rue di Rivoli, and so many more things to do!

Stayed here for a 3 nights week-end. Just great place on a great location. The building is amazing. Everything you need into it as stated in the other reviews. And what is great now is that there is a very nice door between the main room and the bathroom which was not the case when we came last year. This place is clearly the best one we found in Paris! So stop looking, book!

We stayed here for the month of December and felt at home almost from the moment we arrived. Charles, the owner, was kind enough to let us store our bags here while the apartment was being prepared, even carrying our heaviest suitcase up 4 flights of stairs (although for his sake I don't want to imply that this is part of the service!). Located near the top of a mid 18th century building, the apartment interior is clean and modern with all the amenities required (all as mentioned on the website). It features a beautiful wood beam ceiling and 3 high windows in the main room allowing plenty of daylight in (these also gave a great vantage point for watching some of that crazy Parisian parking in the streets below and the resulting chaos!) The sofa bed is firm and comfortable and easy to fold away and sufficient storage is provided with a built in wardrobe and a cupboard/drawer unit. Should you decide to prepare food, the compact but well equipped kitchen permits the cooking of simple hot meals, with a spacious table for eating. There's also a dishwasher to take care of that tedious process afterwards. The very clean bathroom includes a good sized shower featuring a large shower head and an array of water nozzles - no chance of missing any soap suds here! There is no lift here but that is a positive since the 4 flights of stairs easily justify an extra pastry each day from one of the many excellent nearby patisseries. All in all this is a terrific apartment at terrific value. It has plenty of Parisian charm and provides a glimpse of what I would like to imagine is a real Parisian experience - something you would never get with a hotel. The area also deserves mention. The apartment is located on the western side of the beautiful old but vibrant Marais district, comprising narrow, often cobbled streets which are packed tight with boutiques, bistros, patisseries and more than its share of museums. At the end of the road is the famous BHV department store but keep going for a few more minutes and you'll cross the Seine and arrive at Notre Dame. Once you can tear yourself away from the Marais, the apartment is well served by 2 nearby Metros and plenty of buses. If we return to Paris we will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I just spent 9 nights in our centrally located apartment -- just steps away from so many interesting sights -- the Pompidou, the Marais, City Hall; plus lots of neighborhood restaurants, shops, terrific patisseries, wine and food stores -- and two metro stops within a couple blocks in either direction from apartment to quickly transport you anywhere else in the city you desire. You couldn't ask for a more accessible location! And how nice it was to enter into our secure apartment building at the end of a busy day (need an access code for first door, and separate key to enter the building once inside the courtyard). The apartment itself offers a generous, light space (and is QUIET) with high ceilings and all new amenities -- everything from the kitchenette to the bathroom has been tastefully renovated. It has all of the appliances that you would want or need: DVD player, flat screen t.v., stereo; and in the kitchen a dishwasher, coffee maker (plus a second single cup dispenser coffee maker, electric tea kettle); and miscellaneous items such as a good hairdryer, iron and washer/dryer. And did I mention that it is super clean (very important to us)? The apartment is tastefully furnished in a contemporary style with a lot of thought put into the design elements. Overall quite a pleasant surprise -- especially at the price point. We have stayed at a myriad of places over the years (typically in 3 star and above hotels) and in the past few years, we have opted for apartments as we generally find them more spacious, private and allow us to unwind in a more leisurely fashion. This apartment exceeded our expectations for its price. Two things to mention: you sleep on sofa bed which is surprisingly comfortable and the apartment is on a 5th floor walk-up (no lift). The tradeoffs were definitely worth it. We would be happy to stay here again. One more comment: Charles, the landlord, is terrific -- he speaks perfect English and is both gracious and helpful with any of your needs. He lives in the building also. Having stayed in a typical Parisian hotel in the past, I can tell you that you couldn't match the overall ambiance/space/location anywhere near this price point! Thanks, Charles, for creating such a wonderful set-up!

I spent two weeks at this apartment for my honeymoon - it was fantastic. The description on VRBO is completely accurate. The apartment is easy to find, very central. It's a short walk to Hotel De Ville, Notre Dame and you can see the Pompidou centre from the window. There are plenty of cafes, bakeries and boutiques on the street where it's located and there's also a supermarket close by. It's also located very close to two metro stations which is handy, but I believe you're never far away from the Metro in any part of Paris. The apartment has all the amenities you would require for a short or long stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine (using those pods), dishwasher, fridge and utensils. The bathroom has a modern shower, washer/dryer (with washing powder, softener etc.). At the time we stayed there was no bathroom door, just a curtin, but I see they've since installed one. There is a decent sized tv, dvd and music player (which you can hook up your ipod to) and a selection of DVDs. The bed - despite being a pull out sofa was surprisingly comfortable, and I'm picky with beds. The stairs, being on the 4th floor were a great workout, especially with all the bread I ate from the local bakery! At any night of the week it can be noisy at night with all the cafes and bars on the street below, however the windows are double glazed so you're able to shut the noise out completely. The owners were professional and communicated with me regulary up until my stay. There was no issues with payment etc. If I'm ever back in Paris, I'd definitely stay here again, out of all the apartments I researched, this was the best value.

We stayed in Charles' lovely apartment for 10 days in September 2011 and couldn't have been more pleased. Yes, the stairs are many and the area is lively, but the location and price could not be beat. We arrived before the apartment was ready, but Charles allowed us to store our luggage and helped haul it up the stairs. The Marais really is the best location to set up base camp, within walking distance to all the main sites. I have recommended this clean, well appointed apartment to several people who were disappointed to find it already rented. Stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Hi Charles, Last summer we spent an unforgettable week in Paris at your apartment. Not having any specific plans for this summer, we found that our minds and souls did not see us in any other place than Paris; so we are coming back!.I checked the availability of your apartment and found that it is fully booked. Such a disappointment!!! I am wondering if you have other apartments available August 2- 9? Warm regards,

This apartment is so affordable, in an excellent location, and very charming with all amenities needed. That said, it can be a bit noisy at night on the street or in the early morning (if the windows are open) from the garbage truck. Keep in mind, there are 4 large flights of stairs and no elevator. My husband and I were so happy to stay here given other accommodations available in Paris. You cannot beat the price and location. We literally walked everywhere and hardly ever used any kind of transportation. To get to the apartment from the airport, keep in mind you must take a train, then transfer to another train and then walk about 10 minutes. It'll take close to 1 hour.

We spent 7 nights at this place. The studio is very functional (fridge, freezer, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, kettle, TV, DVD), very clean and perfectly located close to everything. It has such a charm as old architectural elements are mixed with modern furniture, we couldn't get enough of it. Charles was a very nice host, gave us the instructions 2-3 weeks ahead as he promised, waited for us at the apartment as he promised, and explained everything to us when he left the keys with us. We enjoyed our walks to the Hotel de Ville, around the Pompidou, we even walked back from L'arc de Triomphe, on the Champs Elysee, through the Jardin de Tuileries to the studio. Notre Dame and the Palais de Justice is walking distance. We couldn't have been able to find an apartment in any more convenient location. I strongly recommend it to anyone and really hope to return to this place some time soon.

OK - so without wanting to sound like a twat, this week I finished my 10th visit to Paris. 8 of those trips have been spent in a Paris apartment. And for the price point of this apartment, it honestly is the best I've ever stayed in. The location (as everyone before me has already mentioned) is excellent. Many other apartments will say that they're in the centre of this area or next to that monument. Often meaning that they're in a crappy street 7 blocks from anything decent. Well, this apartment really is right in the centre of the 'real' Marais. It's close to everything. You really can walk everywhere if want. The apartment is tastefully decorated (with not a single piece of hideous furniture) and very bright (which is rare in Paris! 4 windows on a corner position on a high floor is incredibly rare!) Kitchen and bathroom have EVERYTHING you will need. With every trip to Paris I spend up to 10-15hrs looking for what apartment I'll stay at, hopping to better the apartment I'd booked before. You do the math. Trust me, with some 150hrs in the study of Parisian apartments under my belt, this really is the best you'll get for your buck. Booking, arrival and departure were completely without complication too. Keep in mind that this apartment is in the thick of the gay district, making for an incredibly vibrant area day and night - yet the apartment remains quiet. So ladies, if you're bringing a good-looking man, warn him that he's gonna get checked-out by the boys as he goes to fetch you your daily baguette! LoL

Stayed here Mar 13-20. Charles was prompt and professional responding to my emails and questions, and the apartment really is lovely (and comes with a helpful manual on how to work the appliances). No bedbugs, clean, nice view of classic Paris from this corner apartment. Washer/dryer and hairdryer were huge plusses; used the kitchen only once (2 burners to make a quick meal, plus microwave). Note: no door on the bathroom, only a curtain. The 95 steps to the 4th Euro floor (5th American) made climbing Notre Dame and Montmartre a piece of cake. We were concerned before leaving that the reviews were TOO good, but we really did have a lovely stay in this apartment - it exceeded our expectations. We walked to everything, and only used the metro 4x during the week. Neighborhood is safe and full of restaurants/bars/bakeries, and we were surprised that we didn't have too much street noise even on weekend nights. Bed was really comfy, and we would definitely stay here again. Many thanks to Charles and Yann for their hospitality and for making this apartment available to travelers like us!

I stayed here with my fiancee back in March (brr!). We were meeting in Paris as he was studying abroad in Rome at the time, so our travel schedules were hectic and we were set to arrive on different days. The owners were incredibly accommodating of our needs, particularly helping my fiancee check in and out by himself! The bed was extremely comfortable and didn't even feel like it was a pull out. Loved the movie collection (hello, watching Hairspray while sitting in bed eating eclairs after midnight? I think so!). The kitchen allowed us to cook meals for ourselves, cleanup was easy with the available dishwasher, and the furniture throughout was top notch. This is NOT some hole in the wall that someone threw some Ikea furniture into and called it "cute." We were almost afraid to eat on the kitchen table it was so nice! Loved the wood floors, high ceilings, and the decor. I can't say enough good things about this apartment. The neighborhood felt very safe at night and the apartment was only a short walk to the nearest sites, most notably Centre Pompidou. Just a few things to note, though they aren't necessarily negatives. You should be aware that it is a walkup; we're young though so we didn't mind at all! There is also no door on the bathroom. Normally not a problem, but my fiancee got food poisoning during our stay so the doorless bathroom made things a bit too intimate. Those are the only two things I can think of because overall, this apartment was absolutely fantastic. When we come back to Paris, we're definitely staying here.

The apartment is small but modern and has all the conveniences needed for a short or extended stay - fridge, stove, washer/dryer, cute renovated bathroom with a great shower, and storage space. The central location is close to perfect for exploring Paris, though you may find yourself spending lots of enjoyable time in the Marais. The owners are so incredibley helpful and friendly. There was no issue meeting me at the apartment even thought my plane was late and they cheerfully helped me with my giant luggage up to the 4th floor apartment. To top it off, they got up early on a Sunday morning to help me get my even heavier bags back down to the street to catch a cab (that they also arranged). (Thank you again for your kindless!!!) I stayed for an entire month and truly couldnt have asked for more!

So I was a little nervous about using VRBO because I never had before, but the previous reviews of this apartment were so glowing that I had to take a chance, and I'm glad I did! Really, the apartment is wonderful and as previous reviewers said, the photos don't do it justice. Even for a week, we felt like we had an authentic experience of what it would be like to live in Paris. Rue Rambuteau has all the groceries, boulangeries and patisseries you could want, and the Marais is full of wonderful shops and restaurants. We could walk to everything (despite the freezing weather) and only took the metro half of the time. The apartment has every amenity, including a new dishwasher, washer/dryer, and shower. The satellite TV and good wifi was another perk for those, like us, who are technologically inclined. Although the bed is a pull-out, it is the most comfortable bed I slept on during my entire vacation. And while the apartment is in a lively district, it is also pleasantly quiet at night and there is very little noise in the building. Honestly the best part of our stay may have been the flexibility of the owners. Due to the extreme winter weather, my boyfriend was stranded for an extra night in Paris because Eurostar stopped running. Yann was extra accommodating and let my boyfriend stay another night, which made our lives so much easier. The owners obviously really care about their guests' experiences and made the extra effort to recommend restaurants and ensure that we had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would recommend the place to anyone looking to stay in Paris. My only advice, as mentioned by others, is that (typically in old European buildings), the apartment is a fourth floor walk-up, so you have to be reasonably physically fit. But the staircase is beautiful! For us, it was no problem at all. Thanks again, Charles and Yann!

My husband and I loved this apartment! The location is in the heart of Le Marais just steps away from great shopping, restaurants and museums. In my opinion this is the best area in Paris. The apartment is remodeled/modern but the building has a wonderful 18th century french charm to it. I usually don't like sofa beds, but this one was firm and comfortable and I had no issues with it. The metro is just 2 short blocks away and we got around the entire week without taking one cab. It's really a gem! We will stay at this apartment everytime we visit Paris.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for a little over three weeks. The apartment, though small, was well organized. And, in person, it was even more charming than the pictures. The sofa bed was quite comfortable and easy to operate. The stairs weren't bad and made eating dessert after every dinner much less guilt ridden. The location could not be better. There are many bakeries, markets, cafes and pharmacies within a two minute walk or less. We have stayed in other parts of Paris but the Marais quickly became our favorite. The owners were extremely helpful and the apartment had all the necessities. We felt at home right away. We can't wait to go back.

I am not sure I have anything to add to all the other glowing reviews! The apartment was lovely, so much bigger than I expected, and the lovely old timber floor and beams added such a unique touch. As mentioned by just about everyone else, the sofa bed is very comfortable, and pulls out already made up, so it's not a major job to get to bed after a long day of sightseeing. The area is quiet, but also lively enough that you feel safe wandering out and about. The bathroom while compact was well designed with a wonderful shower, and was fresh and clean, as was the kitchen and crockery/dishes. It was lovely to come 'home' after a day out and throw open the big windows, let in the fresh air and relax. I enjoyed walking the Marais Area and along Rue Rambuteau, the Hotel de Ville is also close by as is Notre Dame, and the Metro for venturing further. Charles and Yann were very helpful, arranging a taxi for me when I left and even more importantly helping me with my suitcase up those stairs!- thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely studio, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartment to others and would love to stay there again in the future.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 21 days in this excellent apartment in August 2010. As everybody said bellow, it's very well located (near markets, fromagerie, wine stores, metro, museuns), very bright and you can find everyhing you need in this apartment. It's exacly like the picture. It's great!! Charles and Yann was adorable and helped us in everything we need. Besides that, they answered all my questions before we closed the deal (and it was a lot) very fast and polite. I absolutely highly recomend this apartment and in the next time I'll go to Paris I will definitively stay there again. Thanks Charles and Yann for the great time we had in Paris! :)

I stayed in this studio for a month in July. It was perfect! It is in a great location on a nice street. Metro, bus and the Batobus are so convenient. Great cafes, markets and fantastic shopping! You are definitely in the heart of Paris. While it is in a lively neighborhood, I was able to sleep with the windows open at night. The studio itself was very comfortable. Lots of windows so it was bright. It was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was VERY comfortable. It was really nice having a washing machine. I plan on staying in this studio again. I highly recommend it.

Thank you very much Charles and Yann. The studio was great. It was in such a great area located walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre and three different metros. In five minutes you can walk to the metro station that services the RER which takes you to CDG airport in 25 minutes (no need for a taxi!). We enjoyed shopping in the local stores to buy pate, wine and baguettes and felt lucky that we could bring them home to eat. The local cafes were great and with the Pompidou located right down the street, literally, 30 seconds walk, what more can you ask for!! The espresso machine in the studio was a wonderful surprise and much appreciated! The bathroom was large and the shower was great (all new). As others have said, there are alot of stairs (4 story walk up) so if you aren't up for the challenge it may not for you. But for us, it added to the charm and kept us fit to eat the wonderful food in Paris. When we come back, we will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay in a trendy central location! Merci Charles and Yann! A Bientot, C&M

We loved this apartment! It was beautiful, clean, and in a fantastic location. It was wonderful to shop and cook in Paris and the dishwasher and clothes machines made life very convenient. We recommend the velib bike rental system in Paris. We didn't get on the bus or metro once, just biked from place to place. Such a great alternative to a hotel, loved it!

My husband and I spent 5 nights in this flat and it was fantastic. From the espresso machine to the hot shower to the very comfortable pull-out bed, everything was great. This is a newly renovated space so it has the freshness of a hotel room but with all the extras and conveniences of home. We love to walk everywhere and the location on Rue du Temple was perfect for exploring Paris on foot. There are 4 flights of stairs to the apartment so it would not be suitable for someone with walking disabilities. There are plenty of restaurants, markets, and cafes all around. We're vegan and there were great places to eat vegan meals within 2 blocks. We loved staying here! Thank you Charles and Yann!

We stayed for 6 nights in early May 2010. As VRBO owners ourselves, I can't begin to express the satisfaction and pleasure we had staying at this lovely flat. It is perfect! Dealing with Charles & Yann was the easiest and most comfortable stay I've had in years. The location could not be better and the style with which they have presented their flat is phenomenal. Anything you could possibly need is there... including easy to understand directions for all appliances, etc., a pharmacy downstairs, several markets within 2 minutes' walk, cafes and eateries galore. I highly recommend this place and will be back as soon as possible.

i recently rented this apartment from charles and yann for a week and absolutely loved it. it is incredibly clean, cozy, and comfortable. clearly, the apartment was recently renovated and has brand-new appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc.) when you throw open the windows, the entire apartment floods with light and is beautiful. the neighborhood was also really trendy and safe with excellent shopping and restaurants. there are two main metro lines that run near the apartment, so you can get almost anywhere in just a few minutes. charles and yann were great to rent from as well-- really professional, kind, and generous. i loved this place and would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment so much. It is even nicer than it is in the pictures. I was nervous about the pull out bed, but it was very comfortable. The kitchen area is fully stocked with lovely dishes, utensils and pots and pans. The refridgerator and microwave are cleaverly tucked out of sight behind the brown doors of the wall unit shown in the picture. The shower was amazing with water flowing from three possible directions. The washer went unused, but it was nice to have it as an option. The towel warmer was a nice touch. The apartment included a flat screen TV and DVD player which was nice to watch at night before we went to bed since we don't speak enough french to enjoy the programs. Though we did enjoy the french cartoons in the mornings. The apartment is also tastefully decorated with nice artwork and other little touches. There are heaters in case it gets cold. This apartment really did feel like home. It is in the most convenient location. Everything you need in less than a minute walk, including a pharmacy (next door), clothing and accessory stores, including the BHV department store, food shops, restaurants, etc. Just to give you an idea of the great location, Hotel de Ville, Pompidou Centre, Batobus, the Seine River and the Bridge to Notre Dame are all less than a five minute walk from the apartment. If you're exhausted like we were when we arrived and can't sit up for a full meal, try Franchesa's aorund the corner for some good take out Pasta or the Quick Burger down the street for French fast food. Despite being so close to everything, once you turn onto Rue de Temple from Hotel de Ville or Rue Rambateau, it feels like a peaceful neighborhood and not a busy city. There is a great Mexican restaurant a couple of doors down. (I know it's Paris, but I love Margaritas!!) BTW there is a light switch in the entryway to the apartment that will cut off by itself. We didn't find this until the second night and stumbled up four flights of semi spiral stairs our first night. LOL!! Last but not least, the owner is super nice, responsive and patient. Thank you Charles for answering ALL of my many questions prior to my arrival. We will definitely stay here at our home away from home on our next trip to Paris.

The description and pictures don't do this place justice. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The furnishings and appliances are all top of the line stuff. We are in love with the shower, plus they have one of those things that keep your towels warm, the DVD player is divx compatible, they have a coffee machine and espresso machine, all the utensils and pots you'd need. The location is SO convenient.

The apartment owned by Charles and Yann is simply in the perfect location. The Marais is wonderful for shopping and many sights: Notre Dame, Hotel De Ville, Seine and many others are all within walking distance. It is also close to two metro stations. The apartment is very well decorated and very trendy. I will stay again when I return to Paris. Definitely recommended!

The apartment was perfect for our 7 nights stay and everything was as you described it on web. We really enjoyed the apartment and the area was wonderful. All the pubs and cafes were excellent in the area and the apartment was close to the metro and shopping. This was our first trip to Paris and we spent one month on the web trying to find the right apartment and district to stay in. We appreciated a lot the kindness of Yann when we arrive.
