  We had a wonderful 2 week stay in E-103. Bowmans beach is beautiful and not busy; a few times we were the only ones there! We also thought it was the best beach for shelling. Our condo was clean and spacious and we found the beds to be firm, but comfy. A couple of little suggestions: a rug by the sliding door to wipe sandy feet on and a better vacuum to suck up sand from the tile floors. Yes, the bathrooms need updating, but they get the job done. The shower in our guest bath was draining slowly upon our arrival, but after mentioning the problem to Amber in the office, we had a maintenance man at our door in less than 20 minutes! All of the condo staff was helpful and friendly. Be sure to use the kayaks and canoes; we took them out a couple of times and had a lot of fun. On one trip, we even saw some manatees! We also had an awesome dolphin experience aboard the Sanibel Thriller (Amber's recommendation). Captain JR and First Mate Keaton took us on an exciting ride around the islands and JR slowed down several times so that groups of dolphins could play in the wake of the boat. They were so close we could almost touch them!! We ate most of our meals at the condo, but did make it to the Island Cow and Doc Fords, both were good. We found Bailey's General Store to be handy and reasonably priced on most grocery items. Our favorite treat was Pinocchio's. They have the BEST ice cream and such a friendly staff. Don't let the long lines scare you away; they get you through fast and besides, the wait is so worth it. Be sure and try the "Elvis" flavor if they have it--yummy!

  Owner response: We have upgraded the condo to 3 FULL BATHROOMS! All new and modern, with glass mosaic tiles, whirlpool tub in the master bathroom, and shower spas in the other 2 bathrooms. ENJOY!

  I stayed in this condo for a week in April with my husband and three grown children. It as a perfect place for our family reunion. The apartment was spacious, immaculately clean, and decorated in a charming and fanciful manner..shelly and beachy! Everything we needed to cook great meals and to enjoy our time on the beach was provided..chairs,toys,beachmats, etc. The umbrellas and fishing pole could be refurbished..our only criticism. The short walk to the beach on a bridge over an inner waterway was exquisite. The beach was quiet and pristine, the swimming wonderful. Seabirds abound, dolphins swim by occasionally. There are kayaks and canoes and a great grilling area free of charge. we can't rave enough!

  Our unit was very spacious and was located on Bowman Beach which is where we wanted to stay. The bathrooms need updating and it is 2 bath not 21/2 bath. The beds very not very comfortable so some of us slept on the couches. The day before checkout, the cleaning crew started calling at 8:30am to see if we were checking out before check out time which was 10 am. The was a vending machine on the property which stayed empty the whole time we were there. Some of the positives was the location. We were close to Captive which had excellent restaurants. It was definitely quiet and the beaches were full of shells.

  Recommended for: Families with young children.

  Owner response: All beds in the condo have firm mattresses. I personally find them very comfortable. Bathroom renovation is scheduled for August/Sept. 2012.

• Great location in complex

  Loved the location in the complex. Condo was nice. However, bathrooms need to be updated. It has 2 bathrooms. The 1/2 bath listed is only a sink . The kitchen is new and has plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, etc. There is plenty of living and dining space. The living room and bedrooms have nice beach themed decor. The walk to the beach takes only a few minutes and crosses a pretty lagoon. The beach is uncrowded and has great shells. We used the kayaks and canoes that were amenities at Blind Pass. The pool is nice and heated. We like the seclusion and tropical landscaping at Blind Pass. It is a relaxing and peaceful place.

  The condo was very nice it has beach decorations throughout, it was very clean and the people in the office were very helpful and friendly. The condo was quiet, we were afraid we were making too much noise but the way the condo's are set up you can't even hear your neighbors. The pool was great just a few too many kids for us since we left ours at home. We used the grills a couple of times love the set up. The shelling was awesome the last two days of the trip, the shells were just rolling in on the tide. Cheeburger Cheeburger has the best burger's ever! We went to Doc Fords for souviners and a drink and the atmosphere and drinks were excellent. Tarpon bay is a must some of us kayaked and some took a fishing trip, the girls on the fishing trip had a blast with Captain Joe and they all caught several fish. Two of us kayaked through Ding Darling and we saw the most beautiful birds ever. I would recommend Blind Pass Condos and Tarpon Bay Marina to everyone going to Sanibel. We also rented bikes and biked through Captiva we enjoyed looking at all of the mansions and one of the owner's let us use his private beach to take a break from biking. We used Sanibel Limo on our way back to the airport and the gentleman was very nice and professional. I didn't get his name but Sanibel Limo is a great way to travel. I plan on going back next year and taking my son and my husband and the girls will be going back in 2013. We hope to stay in the same condo.

  My family just spent a week at Blind Pass in thus unit, and I would highly recommend it for any family needing space and value. There were 7 of us staying in the condo, and we had plenty of room and privacy to enjoy our alone time. We had 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, plus walk in closets, etc... It was comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The owners had everything we could possibly need to cook our meals, and they even had fishing poles, beach umbrellas, and tennis raquets so that we could enjoy all that the area had to offer. The kids enjoyed that each room had a tv to watch, and my in-laws spent hours enjoying the screened in porch. One of the reasons I chose this particular unit is because the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms had double beds instead of twins, like most do. It made it much easier since we had 2 couples and 3 children. There was about a 5 minute walk to the beach, but it was beautiful, and it led to a rather empty section of beach. We found beautiful shells, and saw stingrays and dolphins right there by the shore. The water was beautiful and clear. The pool was los of fun, and everyone we met at the complex was really nice. The condos themselves were a little off the beaten path on the island, though that was still only about 8 minutes from everything. It made us feel like we were on our own private island! We couldn't ask for a better spot to spend our vacation- my kids all asked if we could come back again next year.
