  We loved the house. Clean, sunny, comfy, quiet, well stocked kitchen, clear instructions, lovely outdoor spaces, well located to central Noe.

  It didn't matter what we looked for it was there. Even packing tape! We had a wonderful time and the local establishments were great! It's a wonderful and completely safe neighborhood.

  My husband and I have stayed in several apartments in Noe Valley, this is the only one we have come back to three times. It is even better than the pictures. It has everything you could want or need, including a great collection of DVDs and a PakN'Play as well as children's toys, all of which have come in handy when children and grandchildren come over for dinner.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.

  The apartment was very well equipped.Everything worked and every area was clean and tidy.Much local information was in the folder provided and the owners were helpful.Also Noe Valley was a pleasant area to stay in,with access to the MUNI travel system.I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting SF.

  This apartment was a delight to stay in. It was clean, sunny, quiet, and had a beautiful garden out back, with a ping pong table, which my husband and son loved. The apartment is well maintained, and the owners left a great big book full of information about the neighborhood and city which was very helpful to us. The street and neighborhood are great! There are lots of nice shops and good restaurants and coffee shops within just a few blocks, and we did fine using the public transportation. There is a bit of a walk to the BART station, about 20 minutes or so, but one could also take a bus to get there - but since our weather was so beautiful while we were there, we always did the walk. The neighborhood felt very safe and lively, so we had no worries walking in the evening. We really enjoyed a local restaurant called "Firefly" where we had a celebratory dinner for our son and his fiance, who are getting married in April. The waitress pegged us as Vermonters, which was very funny - we guessed it was because all the men at the table had beards! All in all, great apartment, well supplied, new appliances, and I managed to briefly say hi to one of the owners, who was very gracious and friendly. We would certainly stay there again.

  We found this apartment beautiful in every way. We have spent lots of time in Noe Valley and felt right at home here. We had so much family this Thanksgiving we had to rent space to house everyone, so this apartment was a second home for all of us. Our San Fran family came and checked it out and also approved. We highly recommend this rental. It is tastefully decorated but also has a very at home feel. The deck and yard add to the beauty.

  I was actually surprised that the place was better than the pictures! The description was spot-on the location was great. Check-in and out was easy. The place was spotless and i would definitely recommend this to friends and family members. Unfortunately we were not able to meet the owners as they were on vacation themselves, but they left an contact in case we had issues (which we did not of course). The list of recommendations was especially helpful and all the places we tried were great. We are experienced travelers and have stayed all over the world this is definitely among the best places we have stayed at. Would definitely recommend in a heart-beat!

  My husband and I were joined by our daughter and son-in-law in this apartment to attend an SF wedding. The property was incredible -- sunny, well-designed, with a spectacular, two-level outdoor garden. It was so nice we hosted a brunch for other out-of-town wedding guests using the well-appointed kitchen and the outdoor ping-pong table. We enjoyed walking down to the heart of Noe Valley as well as climbing up to the top of Twin Peaks. And despite the excellent Noe Valley location, we never had a parking problem. Thanks Nancy and Debra for creating such a wonderful home away from home! We recommend this rental without reservation.

  We spent two weeks in this fantastic rental at the end of July. This was our first tip to San Francisco and we chose this rental for its location away from the tourist action. We made the perfect choice. We have been using VRBO rentals for four years, in three different states, and this is the highest quality rental yet. The two floor configuration is great for not disturbing the bedrooms if someone wants to sleep in late. The living/dining/kitchen area is perfect for cooking, eating and relaxing. The kitchen is perfect for cooking meals or just snacking. We discovered a wonderful Italian gourmet store (Pastagina) two blocks away and were able to prepare some delicious meals. Eating at the dining room table with the lovely view of the garen is so relaxing. Of course, there is an amazing array of dining experiences just a few blocks away on 24th Street. You will find pretty much any type of cuisine you desire. There is also a Whole Foods on the same street. All that is in walking distance. There is a whole other world available if you have a car. Speaking of which, the bus stop was around the block and allowed us to connect to any other part of the city with ease if we didn't feel like dealing with the traffic or parking (it can get a little rough closer to the "city"). Still, we had no trouble finding parking within a half a block of the apartment. The two bathrooms were very convenient as was the extra sink downstairs. The desk and WiFi in the second bedroom were absolutely perfect for doing our online research. There is a wonderful binder provided with tons of helpful information and an amazing DVD collection. A highlight for us was watching the movie "Milk" the same day we visited the Castro and seeing the actual locations used in the movie about Harvey Milk. On a side note, be prepared for some serious walking in San Francisco. Some of the streets can be pretty steep. Also, the July weather was quite a change from New York. Most days it never went above 60 degrees F. We could go on for pages. Suffice it to say that Debbie and Nancy have done a wonderful job with this apartment. We met some friends from LA who were staying in a rental a few blocks away and were able to compare, and for the same cost this rental was a class above. We HIGHLY recommend this Noe Valley property, we commend Debbie and Nancy in their high level of service, and sincerely thank them for their hospitality.

  Well located property in a lovely quiet street. Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance and nice neighbourhood shops. We recommend Rins Thai restaurant very close by. The house was very clean and well stocked with all you would need. We usually found a parking space not too far away. The transport into the centre was only a few blocks walk away so very easy to use.We would stay here again if visiting the city.

Additional information about rental rates

Reservation Deposit at time of booking: $200 for three - six nights; $350 for seven to 21 nights; $500 for 22 nights and up. This becomes your security deposit. Other fees due as follows: 1/2 60 days in advance; 1/2 two weeks in advance. Reservations made within two weeks of arrival pay in full.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

$125 cleaning fee.

$25 extra for fifth person per night.
