Our four-level, Pajaro Dunes, beach house offers dramatic views of Monterey Bay in an architecturally unique home nestled among the dunes just yards away from a beautiful stretch of the Pacific Ocean.
Perfect for a family of four to six people or two couples, our home is in the center of one of the only gated, beachfront developments on Monterey Bay near Watsonville, about halfway between Santa Cruz and Monterey and less than an hour from San Jose and Silicon Valley. In addition to the many attractions nearby, the Pajaro Dunes development offers tennis facilities, many walking, biking and jogging trails, birdwatching, a basketball half court, and a large duck pond. Its long stretch of sandy beach is child-friendly and good for boogie-boarding, sunsets, and romantic strolls.
Remodeled, beautifully but practically furnished and maintained exclusively for our own family's enjoyment until 2003, we now rent our home to friends and other families when we cannot be there. Unlike most rentals, our home therefore comes with many extra conveniences and special features that we are more than happy to share with our guests.
The two-bedroom, one-and-one-half-bath (plus outdoor shower) home offers numerous advantages over alternative condominium rental options since it is much more spacious and features multiple sitting/activity areas throughout the four levels. And the fourth-floor crow's nest provides the best view of Monterey Bay in the entire development.
Our normal late check-out time of 6 PM. Sunday (for weekend rentals) also provides our guests with six additional hours of enjoyment compared to other rental options.
