LIVE THE GOOD LIFE! Come stay in our wonderful condo above the Village at Northstar. The condo is adjacent to the new Highlands Gondola from the the Village, and has ski-in and ski-out access if snow condition permit. Otherwise, it is a short walk to the Village's shops, restaurants and ski lifts, or you can take the free shuttle bus. Park your car when you arrive and you won't have to drive again during your stay!
The condo is in a quiet and serene location, with large windows. On the main level, there is a spacious living area with a sectional sofa, gas fireplace and stereo. The kitchen has a toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, popcorn popper and lots of other cooking equipment. Next to the kitchen, there is a dining table that seats four. There are also two stools at the kitchen bar. The condo has a fast DSL connection and WiFi. Upstairs there is a TV and DVD player (no cable). There is one bathroom downstairs with a shower and bathtub. This condo has two sleeping areas - a private bedroom with a twin bunk bed downstairs, and a queen bed and comfortable fold-out queen sized futon upstairs (in the loft). There is a ski locker close to the unit for storage of your skis and snowboards, and a free laundry room next door.
Use of this condo includes access to the property owner's Recreation Center (you can't go there if you stay in the Village!). This great facility includes a heated lap pool, several jacuzzis, saunas, a fitness center, and kids' game room. There is free parking outside or you can take the shuttle bus. To use this facility only costs $2.00 per person per day.

This is the place to stay if you want easy ski-in/ski-out access. Just steps from the Coyote Fork run. Ski down to Highlands Gondola to start the day, ski right to condo on Coyote Fork run to end it or return for a relaxing lunch.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

Nice ski-in/ski-out The condo was good for our family of 4. Nothing fancy, but perfect for the price. Downstairs bedroom had bunks for the kids. Conditions were good and allowed for ski-in and ski-out. Ski-out a short run to the gondola. Grocery store was about 10-15 minutes away. Shuttle to village arrived very promptly. Vacasa was great to rent from. Super props to them as we got an email while driving there to let us know we could check-in early, which was GREAT as we were going to arrive a few hours before the standard check in time. That was very helpful.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

The owners were very accommodating of our needs and the condo is clean, tastefully appointed and recently remodeled/painted. Our family group has been renting in the Ski Trails area of Northstar for over 20 years so we knew what to expect. The low snow levels and the Northstar promised but non-existent Coyote Fork trail prevents ski-in and out, unless you hike 500 yards down the parking lot to an access point. Hopefully additional snowfall will improve the situation. At the condo we wished the owners had supplied more than 2 wine glasses and minimum china., While the kitchen was well equipped, the lack of a broiling pan for the range did make the steak dinner a challenge. Bedding and towels were excellent and were almost new. For a small family get-away at Northstar this condo meets almost all expectations.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks for providing our first review! Two notes: 1) We will definitely replenish dishes, wine glasses, and broiling pan ASAP. Thanks for the feedback on that. 2) In a normal snow year, the Coyote Fork Trail is groomed and ski-in/ski-out access is excellent. We will update the listing to indicate this.
