  Me encanto este apartamento !! es muy cómodo y en una zona divina, se los recomiendo... Es pequeño pero tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables. Lo voy a seguir rentando en mis siguientes visitas a NYC <3

  Great Location!!!! In the middle of everything and very safe. A ton of subway lines within blocks. Great restaurants and shops nearby– Eataly was cool, and the Shake Shack in Madison Park is amazing. The apartment itself was charming and a pretty good size (big for Manhattan standards). Much better than a hotel, especially for the price. Full kitchen was very useful. Everything was clean, and was in good enough shape. Restroom is in need of a little TLC, but I’ve seen far worse (and again for the price, it’s not bad at all, just don’t expect it to be a spa!) Second floor location was perfect, very quiet and you don’t have to deal with the slow elevator. Overall I would stay here again and recommend it to friends – great value for the neighborhood.

  Unica nota positiva la posizione strategica vicino a Broadway e Flatiron ! Per il resto assolutamente sconsigliabile a chi si aspetta almeno un minimo confort ! il letto è tenuto da stecche in ferro posticce (senza parlare lo stato delle materasse sottostanti !!!!); il bagno, senza finestra nè areatore, forse è calibrato per "gnomi" poichè non si riesce ad incastrarsi fra wc e lavandino. L'armadio, inestistente, è ricavato da un vano che contiene di tutto !! Il condizionatore, attaccato al letto, è tenuto con nastro adesivo !! In generale tutto è molto trasandato per un prezzo poi neppure così basso. Forse adatto a chi non ha molte esigenze, ma sicuramente si può trovare di meglio !!!!!

  This tiny and funky apt. was great! The building manager, Winston, was very helpful. We arrived before check in time but could leave our luggage with Winston so that we could head right out and start our adventure. Same was true about check out time. A nice added benefit with no extra charge. We had a front apt. with a window out to the street. The air conditioner at night kept things cool and quiet and during the day the window was a great vantage point to people watch. The flea market on the weekend was fun too. This apt. had great location. We walked to Time Square and the Empire State Building. There were also lots of markets and eateries all within easy walking distance. Nice safe neighborhood! The beds and pillows were a pleasant surprise. All in all a great place to stay.

  We stayed in one of Tonya's apartments last april and we just loved it! In advance we were a little worried about renting an apartment since we never had before but it turned out to be a perfect choice. The location was super and the apartment is just what you need: CLEAN, decent beds and a comfy couch. The apartment is not spacious (european standards) but for new york standards it's a ballroom compared to most hotel rooms! And hey: you're in new york, all you do there is sleep and shower! Winston, the super, was friendly and helpfull. The area is great: walk out the door and you're at madison square park, subway stations just around both corners, 24/7 supermarket at the corner on 6th, restaurants, deli's, coffeeshops all around! Check out the italian place just around the corner (5th, between 24th&23rd): great coffee and perfect for a small and quick breakfast! And don't forget to visit shake shack at madison square park: it's worth the wait! The location is so central that you can do practically everything by foot. Although it's a lively neighbourhood, the apartment is quiet (we had the apatment at the back with the patio). Would definitely recommend this to anyone going to new york!

  This apartment was perfect for my mom's 60th birthday weekend! The 2 of us had more than enough room. We arrived early and had a safe place to leave bags and check out was so easy. We felt totally safe at all times. Everything you could want is outside the door...restaurants (hill country fried chicken!) and some really great shopping. This will be my NYC home away from home!

  A fantastic week we had at Tonya's apartment. There is no doubt: no better location can be found in Manhattan. Quiet building with a friendly atmosphere. For sure we would love to come back.

  We enjoyed our stay at Tonya's place for many reasons. We found the apartment to be just as described. Also the apt. was clean,the Queen size bed was great, and the free coffee was a nice touch. The subway was just around the corner and the location was convenient to go either up town or down town in just a few minutes. The area is filled with many restuarants and the flea market on the weekend is cool to walk thru.

  I've stayed in various VRBO properties across the country. This property is very disappointing in terms of decor, cleanliness, maintenance and as a vacation rental. Examples: Lamp shades without the shade, old flooring in the kitchen area with stains, stained vessels, bath tub peeling off, bath tub doesn't drain quickly, black stains on bathroom walls, general stains on apartment walls etc. I visited this rental with my wife and 2 little children and immediately moved out. I lost my deposit from this VRBO owner but I didn't mind that as I wanted to have a relaxing vacation. I would not recommend this place at all. The owner was kind and tried to help us out by showing another property in the same complex but that didn't seem good either.

  Owner response: Seriously this person was expecting the Shangri-la! He had never stayed in NYC before and did not expect the apartment to be smaller. Also its an older building, my apartment is by NO means dirty as i have a cleaning person come in after each person leaves and they are thorough, but and older apt looks more worn, lived in if you will, than a hotel or new luxury highrise (which is where he ultimately went!)! I've had MULTIPLE people stay since this review that has been over 9 mos ago and no one has ever complained. Many have even commented on how cool the building was b/c it had an older NY feel. Ive even updated the bed and couch now so its even more comfy. Can't please everyone all the time though i try! Thx!
