We really enjoyed our stay, everything was excellent. The 1st thing we noticed on arrival was how spotless and clean everything was. The pictures of 5-303 don't do it justice. The appliances appear as new and functioned the same. It is obvious that the owners are very meticulous in their upkeep and renewal. We have stayed in other units on site and we can say this is better than average. We will definitely return to this condo.

Great condo, great location, great grounds.

Our family of four (kids 8 and 10) stayed here in Early December and had a fantastic time! We found the condo very clean and equipped with all the amenities to make our stay feel at home. There were plenty of beach toys for the kids and the boogie boards were in great shape. The kids slept of the pullout in the living room with the best view by far. Alarm clocks weren’t needed as they awoke to the sounds of the tropical birds at sunrise. The condo sits at the back end of the complex so is far from the busy traffic and noise from S. Kihei Road. This makes for a bit of a longer walk to the beach, but easy none the less. The grounds for Kamaole Sands are beautiful and the pool is located right below the condo for easy access. The bbq’s on the grounds were in excellent condition, with at least one always open, and a great social atmosphere amongst all the guests. The location of Kamaole Sands is across from one of the nicest of the Kamaole beaches and easy access to the others. The owners were very easy to seal with and accommodating with all our needs. A great vacation getaway for the family.

We so enjoyed our time at this condo! The pictures don't really do it justice. It was comfortable and very much a home away from home. Just looking at the pictures here makes me miss it so much! It was so great to have all the amenities that were in the condo. Towels, chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, etc. Everything we needed was there. The king bed was super comfortable, the pull out sofa was perfect for our 7 year old, the kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans and appliances for preparing meals, and having a washer and dryer in the condo was fantastic! The south Kihei location was perfect as we ended up spending a lot of time on beaches in Wailea and Makena a 5-10 minute drive away. It was also a short drive to a variety of shops, grocery stores and restaurants. And the view was magnificent! It was nice to have WiFi and the TVs in the condo. The pool and hot tubs were nice to have as well although we only used them a couple of times during our stay. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. Thank you for letting us stay in your condo it was so wonderful! I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a clean, comfortable place in a great location!

We just returned from a wonderful vacation to Maui, and this condo definitely made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The pictures are very accurate, it is nicely renovated, very clean, and well stocked with pretty much everything you might need while on vacation. My fiance approved of the large flat screen TV in the living room (though it made it tough to get him out of there to go do stuff when there was a football game on)! It was nice to have the laptop available so we didn't have to fight over the one we brought with us, and the printer was handy since we'd forgotten to print our snorkel reservation details. The king bed is very comfortable. A lovely home away from home. Would definitely recommend this condo. Kamaole Sands is conveniently located so you don't have to go far to find pretty much anything you might need. The pool and hot tubs are nice, and the beach is just a short walk across the road. Our favorite breakfast restaurant is Moose McGillycuddy's (served downstairs at Fred's Mexican Cafe), and it is only a couple blocks away (both restaurants have decent dinner and happy hours as well). Tip: stock up on all those Maui tourist magazines at the airport and around town, many of them have 2 for 1 breakfast coupons in them! If you need to rent snorkel gear, try Snorkel Bob's, they have optic masks available for a decent price for those of us who are optically challenged, so you can still snorkel and see all the fabulous sea life on the local beaches!

Great condo in great location

We were very pleased with staying in this condo. Everything was perfect and even better then you could see on pictures. It is quiet (except natural sounds of birds just before sunset and sunrise!), clean, spacious. It is perfect for 2 adults and 2 small kids or 2 adults and 1 teenager. The location of the building is very convinient: the unit is open to the trade winds, so the condo stays not hot at all (in fact we never used Air Conditioner, and We are not the 'heat lovers'). And it is very close to the nice beach, I'd say 3-4 minutes of very relaxed walk. There are several great sandy beaches in a very short driving (or running) distance to the south of the Kam.Sands Beach. The condo has everything you need for a perfect vacation: all beach suplies (we used only towels, boogie boards and snorkeling mask. There were chairs and umbrellas as well), fully equiped kitchen, big flat screen TV in living room and a smaller flat screen in bedroom, nice King-size bed and good pool-out sofa. Also there is Expedia Expert booth at the pool area which was very convinient for booking numerous activities like snorkeling trip, zip-line, submarine tour and etc. They might ask yuo to visit a time-share presentation in Lahaina in order to get some discounts on trips, but it is not that boring (in fact it was quite interesting). And if you want to visit Lahaina, you could combine those two things together. If you are looking to buy groceries, you probably want to stop at Costco near airport. And all the rest minor purchases can be done in Kihei's stores like Safeway, ABC Stores, Natural food. But those stores not very cheap. To resume - it is great condo! We would definetely come back.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Maui and had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful suite! After multiple holiday's at Kamaole Sands in many different units, we all agreed that this was the best one we had stayed in. It was beautifully renovated, the kitchen was extremely well equipped (even down to good knives and a steel to keep them sharp), it was perfectly clean,the king sized bed was a delight and the kids found the pull out couch very comfortable. We will be back and will definately book this suite again!

Thanks very much our vacation was fantastic. Your place was beautiful, you can sure tell you put a lot of care into it. Your renovations are so well done. We appreciated all the little extras of spices and even new stick of butter in the fridge! All the beach supplies & towels, coolers etc were so handy for our beach picnics. Kamaole Sands has beautiful grounds and your unit has to be one of the cleanest and most comfortable. Thank you Carol,for sharing your home with our family on our special anniversary holiday. We hope to someday return to our favorite island.

Fabulous Kiehi Condo!

The owners have done an incredible job renovating and updating this prime Kihei Condo! Everything was as promised and more. Kamaole Sands is such a great property: really well managed onsite staff, right across the street from a great beach, 4 excellent tennis courts, lovely pool and grounds, walkable distance to good restaurants and shopping. Some of the other condos elsewhere may be getting a bit "tired", but not this one. The King bed was so comfortable and the rain shower in the walk-in was wonderfully refreshing after a day at the beach. Really enjoyed the two flat screen TVs and the laptop and wi-fi. There's even 16GB of music of every genre on the laptop! Carol and Michael have thought of everything right down to the Britta filtered water jug in the fridge and a choice of coffee-makers. Everyone respected the 10 pm to 8 am "Quiet Time", so it was very peaceful on the property and this unit is well back from any roads so there's no noticeable traffic noise. One restaurant that we would highly recommend is the 808 about a block north. It's a BYO and the food is incredible - very fresh salads sourced locally and friendly staff. Breakfast at the Kihei Cafe the first morning was very good before we went shopping for supplies. Also ate at Cafe O'Lei and Sensei Sushi which were good too. For the best fish tacos on Maui, try Coconuts up in the Azeka Shopping Centre (16 local ingredients), or the mobile truck "Jaws" on the roadside at the entrance to Makena Beach. In addition to the tennis onsite, we did two clinics at Wailea Tennis Club which were very good value and played golf twice; once at Wailea Emerald (the treat of a lifetime), and at Kahili on West Maui. The staff at Maui Golf Shop were really helpful with high quality rentals and got us big discounts on our tee times. We hadn't been to Maui in 20 years as we got seduced by the Mexican all-inclusives, but it was great to be back in Hawaii and to remember all those reasons why we loved it in the first place. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Condo

Our family stayed this condo for our 6 nights vacation late April. We were a family with 20 month daugther so we were looking for a family friendly, clean condo for us.Chosing Kamaole sands was relatively easy, as we knew it was the only one with kids pool near Kamaole III beach. Then I checked VRBO, spend much time to finally reach this reasonably rated, nice clean inner condo with partial ocean view. I contacted Carol, the owner of the condo, who answered me for every questions I had kindly and professionaly so I knew the owner loved her condo and it should be nice. Acutually, the condo met our expactation in full or even better. The condo provided everything one could need, from PC/comp Internet access, Flat -TV/cable channels, living room AC, to beach goods such as beach parasolle, beach chair, boggy boad, life jacket for small kids. Even rice cooker was there, which was a pleasant surprise (we are Japanese). We loved evening Maui breeze on lanai that viewed beautiful greenery of the inner garden so much that we purchased pateo chair for us once back home. The only possible adds we would have liked there was a Hawaiian Shaved Ice Maker. On-site manager was also availble for special needs like high chair, baby sitter, so family with small children has no problem. Our 20 month daugther, she hated swimming pool before then, enjoyed her 1st swim at keiki pool of Kamaole sands..a life time memory for us. All in all this was very nice condo. We like it very much and would recommend everyone especially family vacationer. Carol...Thank you for allowing us to have chance to stay your fine condo. We will be back.

This was our fourth stay at Kamaole Sands and never before have we had the pleasure of staying in such a luxurious unit as Carol and Brian's. We love Kamaole Sands for the amazing grounds, really nice pool (always deck chairs available) and proximity to one of the best beaches in Maui. As for the condo, there is not a detail, regarding their guests comfort and enjoyment, that Brian and Carol have missed ~ from the uber-comfortable king-size bed, to the well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and all the amenities of home, to the beautiful tile and glass shower in the master bath. We were welcomed to the unit with a package of Kona Coffee! For the beach, they provided LOTS of beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs! The A/C in the bedroom was great - especially in helping our toddler to get his naps. The computer with internet and printer was great for checking in early for our flight home. We will definitely be recommending this unit to all our family and friends and look forward to staying there again on our future trips to Maui.

My girlfriend and I just returned home to Victoria, after spending 2 weeks in Maui. This unit was everything you could want. We had stayed in the same building on a previous trip and looked at a few different units while we were there but nothing compared to this unit. Boogie boards, towels, cooler, full updated kitchen, beautiful ensuite bathroom, nice lanai with great view of ocean, gardens and pool. A HUGE bonus is the keyless entry. Trust me when you want to head to the beach and not have to worry about losing the key this is an amazing feature to have. Thanks for the great place! I would recommend this unit to everyone!

This condo was absolutely amazing! It was very clean and had everything you could ask for! The boogie boards, cooler, and beach chairs were wonderful! The grounds were beautiful and everything was well taken care of! The owners of the condo were very helpful with all the questions we had...I would recommend this condo to all my relatives and friends! When we are in Maui again, we will definitely stay here!

My husband and I recently returned from a week-long stay in the condo, and it was wonderful. Everything we could have needed was available to us from kitchen supplies to beach towels and coolers. The condo is not only comfortable, but it's beautiful and is perfectly situated with a view of the ocean and the pool. Along with having amenities we needed, it was nice to know that we had access to an on-island contact if a need arise. The owners were wonderful to work with and handled every aspect of our visit professionally.

We loved everything, and thank you for getting the new air conditioning. It's working great. Doris was very helpful.
