One story home set in a tropical setting. Just a short 1 1/2 mile drive to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
Newly remodeled, professionally decorated and charming with upscale Florida look and bright colors. Tropical backyard area situated on canal with boat dockage, including a 10k boat lift and pier. Catch dinner on your own boat and then cook on the grill.
During the day, you can stroll along one of two piers found on the island, and you might see a dolphin or two swimming close by. There is an excellent choice of restaurants close by, including the Waterfront, Rod & Reel Pier, and the famous 'Sand Bar.' Here the sunsets are incredible, and there is nothing better than watching the sunset with your favorite cocktail while the children play safely on the beach.
Dining is easy with a more formal table for six, easily extending to seat eight, and of course the lanai has a sitting area, as well as dining area comfortably sitting eight. So you can relax with the extra comforts and enjoy the indoor and outdoor life. Evenings are especially beautiful sitting here with the soft sound of the birds and the beautiful colors of the sky.
The beautiful island of Anna Maria is seven miles of idyllic beach with an array of shells and sand dollars, fringed with tropical landscape. It is only a mile and a half drive to view one of the most breathtaking sunsets, where locals, friends and family gather. There are three cities on the small island all with their own unique charm - Anna Maria, Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach.
Many local area attractions, Tampa is one hour north (Museum of Science and Industry and Omnimax Dome Theater), Busch Gardens Theme Park, Channelside and Aquarium. Orlando is two hours with Disney World and Sea World. Supermarkets are close, as well as a diverse range of shops and boutiques offering that extraordinary gift and choice of local crafts and arts.

This property was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated.The neighborhood is friendly, quiet and safe..The ammenities and location of this home helped to make our stay very comfortable and convenient. The owners of this lovely home made us feel very welcome. They were accomodating and readily available to address any concerns we might have had. They even left a very informative binder with every bit of information we needed to know about the area including menus from local restaurants,directions to nearby beaches,and information pertaining to many area attractions. Our experience at this home was very enjoyable, and we look forward to returning to "our second home" next year. By the way, our dog Pearl also thought this was a very special place to visit. Barbara, Linda and PearlRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

We were very happy with the house and grounds. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The rambler style was easy for an elderly person to move about. The location is great, close to beaches, shopping, and restrauants. We enjoyed the house and morning coffee on the lanai watching the birds and the water. There were extra amenities available such as the barbeque grill, computer, etc. Local information regarding things to see and do were availabe in the house. Working with the owners was very easy. This was our first VRBO. Not only was this the nicest, cleanest place we ever stayed it was exacting what the owner said, Fantastic location. We did not have a boat, but we went to the beach, out to eat just a great place to get away. Anyone that wants a getaway this is the place. No worries here.
