FABULOUS 4BR/4BA BEACH HOME ON EASTERN LAKE w/ PRIVATE POOL, APPROXIMATELY 30 YARDS TO OCEAN w/ WALKWAY w/ NO STEPS FOR EASY ACCESS, OCEAN VIEW - Sleeps 10-12.
Vacation in this lavishly appointed, three-story, non-smoking pet free home and enjoy your own PRIVATE POOL and fish from your own (semi-private)dock. There is a huge patio area surrounding the pool with two sets of tables and chairs and lots of chaise lounges for sunning. Located on Eastern Lake and just approximately 30 yards from the beach where you have a walkway with no steps for easy access. The covered decks on each floor provide panoramic ocean and/or lake views. With all the comforts of home, this house is excellent for large groups as it has two master bedrooms with private baths and king beds.

The main level holds a spacious, fully equiped kitchen with a bar and 4 stools, a large dining room with table that seats 8, a comfortable double living room with TV/DVD, and a private study/den with TV/VCR, featuring a sleeper sofa, so it can double as an extra bedroom. The main floor of the home features a large screened porch overlooking the pool and lake. The second and third floors both have their own covered balconies. The home has a semi-private dock on Eastern Lake that is shared with the home next door.

Our family stayed here this past August and we had a fantastic time. We had two children under 10 and a newborn and found the accessibility to the beach, pool and pier to be perfect. The house was roomy and well taken care of. Repairs were made several times during our stay on the sink, which was unfortunate, but maintenance must be done when it needs to be done! (Especially in a busy house like this that is rented every week.) The screened in porch was a great asset for evening relaxing and the pool was very nice. The TV's are a little dated, so no HDMI access (we brought our Apple TV but couldn't hook it up) and we had to use an airport wi-fi system because the cord to the modem was missing. Highly recommend this property and we plan on coming back again!

We just got back from a very enjoyable stay at A Villa Lago. The house was perfect size for 2 families. The kids loved the bunk room, the pool, the short walk to the beach, and the fishing dock (as did the men!). In regard to the previous review, we did not have any bug problems and the air conditioner worked perfectly, however I would agree that the house could use a little upkeep and updated furniture/bedspreads/etc. While the house overall was well-represented in the pictures, the furniture on the screened in porch needs to be replaced, screen door broken, and lights didn't work on porch. Pool area could also use a little TLC. Overall, a very pleasant stay, however for the price, the home could use a little updating.

All of the cushions on the screened in porch have either been thoroughly washed or replaced. The screen door has been repaired and new light bulbs have been installed. We have painted some of the wicker furniture. We also repaired the pool deck area where the sand had shifted. Your comments are appreciated.

The location of the house was very convienent to the beach. Just a short walk and you were there. The size of the house worked well with our family and never seemed crowded even with 5 children. The house however needed some tender loving care. The furniture;not all but most;needed to be recovered or replaced. I refused to sit on the wicker sofa on the screened porch and the custions on the chairs of the porch were just nasty! The pool was small but very nice. There was a place on the decking of the pool that had caved in and needed reparing.The airconditiong didn't work properly on the main level and there were bugs in the house. The rental agency was very good in attending to these problems and quickly solved our airconditioning.

We wash, dry clean or replace bedspreads and chair cushions that are worn. The carpets are cleaned and kitchen inventories are checked and replenished.
