  My girlfriends and I met up in Hawaii for 50th birthday celebrations. We are so pleased we found Tommy's apartment on VRBO. The location is fantastic. Every morning and evening was spent on the lanai eating, drinking and taking in the stunning view. I agree with everything the previous reviewer said (the group who came in after us!). There was food waiting for us; Harry was very helpful as was the Outrigger any time we needed garbage collecting or something fixed (a quick phone call away). Will definitely stay here again when next in Waikiki - but will have to book early as it is so popular.

  I stayed here with my family (five adults and two children) during an extended Mother's Day weekend. The condo was just perfect for our needs. We wanted to stay in Waikiki and we wanted to be together as a family instead of in different hotel rooms. The views are spectacular!! You would have to pay so much money for this view if you stayed at a hotel. The condo wasn't exactly cheap, but I thought for the views and the spaciousness of the lodging, you couldn't get all that with a resort for this price. Just as the pictures show, you get Diamondhead views all the way to the gorgeous sunsets we had every night. AMAZING. Harry, the property manager, had the condo ready for as the appointed time. He had stocked the fridge with milk, juice, shrimp cocktail, cake, sodas and water! PERFECT! He also had fresh fruit waiting for us. We had so much room to spread around. Granted the bathrooms are a little dated, but no big deal. Water pressure in the master shower was a little low, but no issues in the hall bathroom. We got some extra towels from calling the desk at the Outrigger Regency, which is down the street. A little confusing since the Outrigger Reef is right next door. Go figure. Anyway, the condo came with parking, which is essential when parking in Waikiki. The condo kitchen is fully equipped. SO CONVENIENT! Even if you never left your condo, you would have a great vacation. Starbucks is next door at the Outrigger Reef so that got our coffee drinkers in the morning. We had breakfast out on the balcony the first morning with eggs and bacon we had bought plus the fresh fruit that Harry got us. SO NICE! When it was time to head out to the beach, there were sand toys, floaties, snorkeling gear, and beach mats in the closet. LOVE IT! There was a king bed in the bedroom, which my brother, his wife and two young kids took. I slept on the trundle bed, which was not very comfortable, but I figured the sofa bed wouldn't have been any better. My parents took the two twin beds that is the second "bedroom", which is just a room off the kitchen that has a thin partition. There was TV with cable, but we didn't have time to watch TV. The Hilton had its fireworks on Friday and you could see it from the balcony although some of us missed it because we had forgotten about it and were out to dinner. Overall, we had an amazing vacation and if we come back to Oahu, we are definitely renting this place again.

  Far and away the best accomodations in Waikiki. The condo is absolutely beautiful. Every window looks out onto an amazing view. The inside of the condo matches the spectacular outside views. The owner was so helpful with the planning of our trip. He made sure that our group was going to have a fantastic trip. This is where I want to stay everytime I travel to Waikiki.

  Positively the best way to experience Hawaii/Waikiki. If you have a family and or don’t want to eat out every day a condo with kitchen is the way to go. Rent a condo and get all the amenities of the hotel plus better views and a full kitchen. Couldn’t ask for a better spot. Easy walk to all the shops, Dukes and on the BEACH! I would highly recommend this place.

  Thank you so much for sharing this amazing condo with us! Our family has been coming to Hawaii (Oahu) on and off for about 30 years. We have stayed in numerous Waikiki hotels over the years. This was our first time renting someone's condo and we have unanimously decided we will never stay at a hotel again! Despite dragging Harry out twice with an unexpected delayed flight arrival, he was friendly, helpful and glad to greet us with the "aloha spirit!" The welcoming snacks and special celebration treats provided during our stay were over and above any expectations! Every detail was thought of, and we were made to feel very welcome and at home for our two weeks. The extra ammenities at the Outrigger Reef next door are a wonderful bonus. Service from the Outrigger staff was also top notch. They were able to store our luggage and arrange a courtesy room due to our late evening departure. We can't say enough good things about the condo itself... the location is amazing, convenient and close to everything, and the views are beyond words. Having our own ensuite laundry and available parking spot made our trip so much more enjoyable and accessible since our group included an infant and people with disabilities. The condo was so well stocked we didn't want for anything. Being able to eat as a family on the lanai sure beat being cooped up in a hotel room, or having to wait at restaurants every night for a table (the money we saved eating out was spent on more activities and attractions)! We enjoyed relaxing on the huge lanai so much so we almost didn't want to venture out and about. We spent hours every morning and evening, outside, kicking back to Hawaiian music on the built in sound system, enjoying the sights (whales, sailboat races, ships, and the beach traffic below). It was amazing watching hundreds of people come out to sit on the beach for the Friday night Fireworks at the Hilton, knowing we had the best seats in the house! The people watching was way too much fun. Being only 4 floors up was a perfect vantage point to enjoy the sights and sounds on the beach and in the park below. Setting up our arrival details with Tommy was a breeze and he was so genuinely helpful we couldn't have asked for an easier experience! We will certainly tell everyone we can about your wonderful hospitality, but we almost don't want to share such a good thing, fearing you'll be booked when we're able to return. Much Mahalo!   My fiance and another couple stayed in the condo from 03/04/13 - 03/10/13. We had a fabulous time! We stayed in the smaller condo, but still had a beautiful view of Waikiki Beach. The condo was very clean and we were quite comfortable. It was my fiance and one of my friends first time in Hawaii, so I wanted them to experience the full 'tourist' experience. We were within walking distance of everything and the staff was very accommodating with our needs. We kept our sliding doors open the entire time and always had a wonderful cool breeze. Tommy was wonderful to work with and was always available to answer any questions I had. Mahalo nui loa, Tommy! Had a great time!!!

  Hi Tommy, we've just got here for only a few days but I can't wait to tell you that we are having the time of our life! Your condo is absolutely wonderful and just what we needed. The condo, the beach and it is in the middle of all the activities we like to do. PERFECT. Went to a luao, rode the trolley , gone to aquarium and zoo, going snorkeling with the turtles on Friday, shopping, omgosh too many things to mention. LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR PLACE. (10 days later) How can we say in words what a wonderful time our family had at your condo. Great, grand, awesome, early morning Sunrises, forever Sunsets, Friday fireworks on the beach, simply amazing Views! The list could go on and on. A big thank you for all of you Tommy, Tracy and Harry for these surprise welcoming gifts and food upon our arrival. What a nice gesture with what a pleasant surprise! Having the beach stuff, umbrella, chairs, cooler, mats, water shoes were handy as well. We are back home now and I just wanted to thank-you again for the wonderful condo and the other smaller condo for our large family were just what we needed. We got our deposit check in the mail upon arrival to home, thank-you for that too, I was shocked to see the refund at the mail box so quickly, knowing we just left your condo. I cannot thank-you enough, and will be talking to you again and again. I want our family to go there as much as possible. It is hard to get them all together at one time, however I am sure after this trip they will try really hard so we can be together again. I have some girlfriends that I have emailed to and I want to do a girls trip with them. What an amazing place for a family reunion or a friends get-together or just a chance-to-get-away. Everything was just fabulous. Thank-you again a million times. I am so glad that I have found your webpage. And the emails, phone calls and detailed tips and instructions for our trip. And your attention to details in preparation of the condo to make us feel so welcome when we arrive. I LOVE IT. We will for sure tell everyone about your condo and your hospitality and we will for sure be back. Take care and we'll see you again soon!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well equipped condo. It was the best decision we made in planning our vacation. It was in a perfect location, well within walking distance to everything. There is the most incredible views including the stunning sunsets and fireworks. The underground parking stall is a bonus! Thank you very much Tommy & Tracy for allowing us to use your incredible home. Also thank you to Harry for checking to make sure all was well and having our unit well stocked for our very late night arrival. Your hospitality goes above and beyond! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Waikiki!

  There is little to say about this property beyond that it was the perfect choice for us! It is clean and comfortable and up-to-date, and the location, the size of the condo, the amenities---all were perfect! We brought my wife's mother to Hawaii for a week, as she had never been there before and had expressed a desire to visit. We couldn't have found a better place for all of us. For mom, who is 93 years old (and in good health), the lanai overlooking Waikiki Beach was a wonder to her, and she spent many happy hours people-watching and enjoying the cool breezes off the ocean. For my wife and I, we could feel comfortable leaving mom on her own for short periods of time while we walked the beach or hiked on Diamond Head, as the building is safe and secure. Also, there are innumerous shops and restaurants in the immediate area that we could all walk to. We can't thank Tommy enough for making our trip easy and enjoyable. We are looking forward to returning sometime in the near future. Like I said, this place is perfect!

  The VIEW, VIEW, VIEW!! It's all about the VIEW. My husband and I and our best friends just spent nine days here celebrating our 50th and 48th wedding anniversaries, respectively. I spent a lot of hours on the internet trying to find THE perfect location and I wanted to be right on the beach. Did I ever find it with this condo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Tommy and Tracy were so easy to work with. The day of our arrival there were a few maintenance issues, but that could happen anywhere and Tommy took care of those by the next day. We highly recommend the Shore Bird restaurant at the Outrigger next to the condo.....there are coupons available for buy one entree, get one half price. We ate dinner at Duke's one evening and enjoyed that as well. Why have to get up, get dressed, pick up coffee at Starbucks then walk to the beach to enjoy the early morning when you can do as we did..... get your coffee in the kitchen of this condo, sit on the balcony in your pj's, and watch the local surfers as they head out before dawn, then wait for the sunrise over Diamond Head. We were on the balcony most mornings by 4:00 just to watch the early goers down below. If you want nothing between you and the ocean except sand, then this is the place for you. It's all about the VIEW!
