Should you decide to make a meal, the kitchen features a stainless steel 6 burner gas cooktop/oven with griddle, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, blender, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker and garbage disposal. It’s also stocked with 6 person plate setting, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, bowls, pots/pans and necessary linens. The kitchen is perfectly designed for long term stays with full size appliances within reach of each other making meal preperations quick so you can enjoy more time relaxing.
DINING ROOM/LIVING ROOM:
Our luxury condo is located on the 15th floor in the South Tower and offers panoramic views of Playa del Palmar Beach, Ixtapa Bay, and the Pacific Ocean from the Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, and of course, large and private deck. Our condo is tastefully decorated for your comfort and relaxation where the Dining Room boasts an onyx table with 4 rattan chairs. The living room has a large 37” LCD flat screen TV, DVD, and iPod docking station for your enjoyment. The sofa converts into a queen bed for anyone travelling with children or an extra adult.
BVG Marina is a brand new 24/7 security gated residential condominium building and features two resort style infinity swimming pools overlooking the beach, a separate children's pool, pool snack bar, pool loungers, umbrellas and wireless internet, beach palapas, kids play area, lit tennis/paddle courts, spa, gym, entertainment center with billiards and card tables, business meeting room, indoor movie theatre, and a business office with broadband internet and computers for your use.

My wife and I have been to Ixtapa many times over the last 20 years. This is the first time we stayed at a Condo vs. an all inclusive. We found the ad on VRBO and eventually started discussions with Gail Skitsko, one of the owners. She was very helpful and it is definitely a benefit that she lives in B.C. as we live in Alberta so we felt an immediate comfort level. We based our decision to stay in this particular unit on money and the pictures we saw on-line. We were not disappointed. The unit is well maintained and the view is magnificent. There is easy access to restaurants and to grocery shopping if you wish to cook in. The staff is excellent although it would be an asset if we could speak Spanish as a number of the staff cannot speak English. We did manage to communicate though. We felt at home from the minute we got there and hated to leave 3 weeks later.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Fabulous. Pictures do not do this place justice. The views are amazing, never got old. The condo is well stocked and very comfortable. Did not want for anything. I wish all places had the keyless entry, very handy. The building its self is well cared for, always seemed to see someone cleaning. Ixtapa is a nice quick walk, but if you are not in the mood for a walk there is a bus every few minutes, very inexpensive. Or go into Zihuantiejo for the evening, watch the sun go down. Did not have a bad meal anywhere we went. Don Memos in Zihuantiejo was our favorite. The beach is beautiful and excellent for walks. Could not find anything wrong with this place. 2 weeks not long enough. Gail was so easy to work with, she is very helpful. Answered questions quickly with lots of information. Thanks to Harry, Doris and especially Gail for the use of their condo.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was our third time to Ixtapa and the second time for staying in this unit. The owners have made a lot of improvements to the condo and were very worthwhile. We loved the new patio furniture and the additional storage unit that was added to the condo. Also, very nice to have wi-fi and phone service. The condo complex was working on several improvement projects while we were there. Working with the owners was wonderful and a very pleasant experience. The condo was a great place to call "home" for the month that we were there. We have already booked our return stay for another month and can't wait to go back. Thanks Harry and Gail for the wonderful place to stay!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this condo for 12 days and enjoyed every minute of it.You have the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other,what more could you ask for.The condo is beautifully decorated and is equipped with enough kitchen gear to cook up a meal big or small.The condo was clean and had plenty of towels and bedding.The keyless entry was a bonus making entry slick which meant no hunting for keys.Taxis or the bus is right outside making it easy to get anywhere you want to go.There are several good restaurants in Ixtapa which is in walking distance or take a trip into Zihuatanejo and check out the eating ,drinking or shopping there.This complex and grounds are so beautiful you may not want to leave.We found booking thiis condo very easy to do.Gail was very helpful in answering all of my questions and quick to respond to my emails.I would definately book this condo again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This condo is beautifully decorated and maintained, and Gail was absolutely fabulous to deal with. When we arrived, the condo was completely ready for us, and there were no surprises - other than the condo being even nicer than we expected! We just love Ixtapa and the BVG Marina building...it is on the quiet part of the Ixtapa beach, so we felt like it was our own private paradise! There is wonderful cross-ventilation from the ocean through the bedroom that keeps the condo very cool, so we didn't even have to use air conditioning! A very nice feature, as we prefer enjoy the natural and healthy ocean breeze. This was our 3rd trip to Ixtapa and the 2nd time staying in this condo unit. We were there 3 weeks and loved absolutely every minute of it. The condo is immaculate, spacious, and is equipped with everything you might need for a great vacation. And the view from the balcony is spectacular! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pools are quiet and relaxing and there’s never a shortage of loungers no matter what time of the day. The area itself has some great restaurants within walking distance and Zihuatanejo is just a short bus ride away. Would not hesitate in recommending this condo to anyone. Will we be back........ absolutely!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This condo has everything one would want for a quiet relaxing vacation.(clean and well maintained) The views front and back are amazing. The patio is awesome from early morning sunrise, to watching the lights come on along the beach during sunset. The BVG Marina staff are very helpful and courteous. The pool area is fabulous, and the best thing is that you can always find a lounge chair at any time of day. Buses and taxis are always available. Short walk-15 minutes - gets you to some fabulous restaurants and shopping. Lots to do. If you want a vacation that gives you lots of r&r, and away from the crowds, this condo is for you.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

my wife and I spent a wonderful 10 days in this lovely condo. the accommodations were first class. as good as the weather. the balcony view is worth the price of admission. we spent most of the time in the condo on the balcony. we loved every minute. the remainder of the BVG is likewise. great service by the pool with plenty of space. And, right on beach with lovely views of the pacific. no doubt we will be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

This was our second time to Ixtapa but only our first experience with not staying in an all inclusive.We were a bit apprehensive at first, but after spending 2 weeks in this condo, we both agreed that it was probably one of our best vacations ever.The unit itself is beautifully decorated & is equipped with everything you need. We had a wonderful stay at the condo. It had awesome views and was very comfortable. The pictures show it as is, the property is very well maintained inside and out, the beach is fabulous and the pools were beautiful. The company we rented the condo through, IZ Properties, was very helpful, professional and super nice. About the owner: Hola! We are Doris, Harry and Gail. Doris lives in beautiful Penticton, BC and Harry and I live in Vancouver, BC. Doris and I have been close friends since Grade 9 and continue to have that same relationship. Doris works at the Hospital and has her four girls to take care of....2 daughters, 1 dog, 1 cat. Harry owns his own plumbing company and lives in a house full of girls...myself, our daughter, 1 dog, 2 cats. Harry and I have travelled to many places in Mexico, and absolutely fell in love with Ixtapa. The clean, uncrowded small town with the warm weather, friendly people and most memorable experiences of the 'real mexico'. Why the Owner Chose Ixtapa:
We chose to buy this condo because of the outstanding views we get from it. Both the inside and outside of the building have lots to offer, not to mention Ixtapa itself. This is one very clean town and it's good to know that we feel safe and secure walking around downtown or on the beach. The people here are so friendly and very helpful with things, and the abundance of restaurants and activities is amazing.
