My husband and I stayed in this condo for the first week of May. The condo is well taken care of and had everything we needed. It was great to have the kitchen to cook our own meals and the dining room offers amazing views with privacy as well. The owner was very easy to arrange our stay with. I think we had the best view in the condo community or the entire North Shore. We saw turtles and whales from the condo. Very convenient location to shopping, restaurants, and hiking. Would LOVE to see them get a community grill, that is my only gripe. We will definitely come back to Kauai and stay in this specific condo. I highly recommend it!

We have visited Pale Ke Kua three times now, and plan to return. A corner unit, the condo is beautifully decorated, and the view from the deck is probably the best on the island, whether it's the morning view of the mountains or a sunset view over Makana. From February - May or so, one can see the albatross swooping by as they fly to sea to find food for their chicks. During whale season, one can see the whales being quite active. The photos on VRBO are great, but don't do the condo justice! It's gorgeous, well maintained, and clean. We have recommended this condo to others, and will re-visit as often as we can. Mahalo for such a beautiful place in which to experience Kauai at its best!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Entering this condo for the first time is a magical experience. Not only are there magnificent views of the ocean from every window (this is a corner unit with great views in all directions) but they are also reflected in the wall-size mirror facing the coastline and beautiful “Bali Hai”. You can actually watch the whales playing in the surf while sitting at the kitchen table. Perched on a corner of a cliff and very private, it doesn’t get much better than this. Besides providing a great selection of things you might need (coolers, snorkel gear, spices, etc.) the inside is also beautiful. There are mirrors, mobiles, interesting pictures & fun details everywhere. From the condo you can walk (steep, but beautiful) to a lovely private beach. The location is close by to many of Kauai’s attractions, beaches & the friendly little town of Hanalei. Mahalo to the owner for sharing this wonderful condo!

This is a wondeful condo with the best view in Kauai. It is beautifully furnished and decorated and has everything you'll need for a Hawaii vacation. I can't recommend it highly enough. Best condo we've ever stayed in.
