Brought to you by Parler Paris Apartments, le Grand Ciel is a three roomed studio apartment, completely renovated in 2009 to provide a stylish and relaxing retreat in this most convenient part of Paris. The apartment has been professionally remodeled to provide a fantastic feeling of spaciousness which makes the most of the large traditional window in each room and the sunny aspect. This light and bright aspect has been further enhanced by the contemporary decor where fashionable teals and turquoises contrast with crisp cool white. A solid oak parquet floor, warm underfoot, is the perfect compliment to the modern and comfortable design. Located on the third floor of this recently renovated haussmannian building, set on a quiet street just two minutes from a metro station, this is the perfect spot for a site-seeing trip to this magnificent City of Light.
On entering the apartment you may hang your coat in the entrance hall and continue into the bright kitchen. The owners of this apartment are keen cooks and this is reflected in the well-appointed kitchen. Cook up a culinary wonder with produce from the local market and eat it at the stone-topped bistro table overlooking the street below. Also in the same room is a large laundry cupboard with a washer-dryer, plus everything for your laundry needs so, if you wish, you can travel a little lighter!
Beyond the kitchen, through the sliding door which disappears into the wall, is a spacious modern bathroom complete with large walk-in shower, floating toilet and contemporary wash-basin. A tiled floor and natural stone mosaic detailing add to the up-to-the-minute design. Luxuriously fluffy towels hang on the heated towel rail with plenty of spares under the teak vanity shelf. With an overhead light, mirror light and large frosted glass window, you can use this bright space to ensure you look your best when you hit the town. There is also ample storage provided for your own toiletries.
Back through the kitchen and through the glass paneled door is the main living space of the apartment. A King sized bed with luxury bed linen and plenty of pillows ensure you will have a comfortable night. The bed can be converted into two twin beds if required. Storage is provided for your clothes in the French style armoire and there is room for your suitcases on top. The bureau has space for your laptop and papers and can be closed when you have finished working. The entertainment centre is provided in the large shelving unit which houses a flat-screen television, CD and DVD players and a selection of books and games. Close the sleek velvet curtains and this stylish apartment becomes the perfect cozy sanctuary.
Everything you could possibly need has been included in this well-thought out apartment. The three separate rooms give a feeling of space and even allow for time away from your fellow traveler if necessary! The apartment building itself is of the typical Haussmann style of architecture that makes Paris so beautiful. The communal parts of the building have recently been refurbished and the external digi-code and internal security door make this apartment very safe and secure.

We had a wonderful stay in Paris at Le Grand Ciel. The apartment was exactly as advertised: very comfortable, with lovely linens and towels, well-equipped little kitchen, and a very nice roomy bathroom. The apartment was in a great location, just steps from the Metro and a nice walk to so many things a visitor would want to see in Paris. Many nice cafes were in easy walking distance: we especially loved Chez Imogene! There are boulangerie and little markets all over, so you can easily provision yourself with whatever you need. This was our first time in Paris and it was great! Le Grand Ciel was exactly as shown in the photos. It was great to be able to relax and have some meals in our own apartment. The local outdoor market was just around the corner twice during the week and we shopped there for fresh produce, cheese and meats. It was a nice surprise to find that there were a lot of books on Paris and maps of the various attractions in our apartment. We used them to help plan our days. We were only a minute's walk from the Metro so getting around town was incredibly easy. We also enjoyed being outside of the more touristy areas and getting a better idea of real life in Paris. We had a wonderful time in Paris staying at the apartment. It was perfect in every way. The neighborhood is in a very convenient location--metro across the street--everything is literally close by. The apartment was furnished with every amenity. Our next trip to Paris will definitely be at an Adrian Leeds property. The apartment had every single thing we could possibly need. Everyone at Parler Paris Apartments was helpful, this was so easy to book and so much better than staying in a hotel. I cannot think of anything that needed to be done differently to enhance our experience. I will definitely recommend Parler Paris Apartments to anyone traveling to Paris and looking for a real Parisian experience. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our trip to Paris and a big part of that was our accommodations at Le Grand Ciel. It was in the perfect location, steps from the Métro, great restaurants, patisseries, and sights of Paris. The apartment itself was clean and modern, but still having that old European charm.
