I had the opportunity to stay in both of Paula's VRBO rentals (83218 & 276205) on my first trip to Sandpoint. She was so accommodating when I wanted a romantic spot for 2 for a few days and than we moved to her 4 bedroom Lake Street House for the remainder of our stay with teenagers. It was perfect ! The fireplace, the view, the snow, the super comfy bed with down comforter, the candles, the sound system - it was impeccably clean with wonderful linens and towels, I have been a flt. attnd. for 25 years and have stayed in a 100 vacation rentals - - this is one that I will DEFINATELY return to - - - - see you in the summer Paula. BTW - - although the Lake Street Cottage (VRBO 83218) sleeps lots of people - - it would be VERY comfortable for a smaller group or even only a couple. We really did love them both equally for diferent reasons.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

Your lakefront condo was everything as described. We were left wanting nothing~there was even martini glasses for our late afternoon cocktail! My husband loved the king-sized, super comfy bed. It was wonderful being right on the lake and just a few minutes walk to town and the beach. We even took a dip in the pool. (There are TWO of them!) We would, definitely, stay there again! Thanks from Rob & Connie.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My wife and I had a great experience here, and the accomodations could not have been more perfect. We really appreciated the fully furnished Kitchen which allowed us to do some of our own cooking and that was a lot of fun!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My wife and I recently rented this condo. I had lived in Sandpoint a few years ago and this was our first time to return. We hoped to stay somewhere with the convenience of downtown Sandpoint but a visual reminder of how beautiful the scenery is. This condo exactly fit our needs and expectations. The building itself is offers a great view of the lake and surrounding mountains, but is within walking distance of downtown. It's also in close proximity to a gas station, which was an unexpected convenience (for food, drinks & aspirin). The condo itself is wonderfully updated with quality features, fixtures and paint. It felt crisp and new in every square inch. The full kitchen went relatively unused by us, but it was fully stocked and functional. The bedding and decor were tasteful and comfortable (the interior would be equally at home in Seattle as Sandpoint). The bed was amazing and we found ourselves nearly incapable of getting out of it at a decent hour. Absolutely comfortable and cozy, it also had a feeling of freshness that we don't normally find in hotels. In conclusion, the condo and the owners were absolutely great. We would stay here all over again if given the chance. If you are visiting Sandpoint for the first time, you won't find anything better in this price range. (It's also worth mentioning that this place is just far enough away from the constantly-used railroads and the under-construction highway project, two things that are hard to avoid in Sandpoint.)Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This condo was beautifully designed with all the amenities. It is very comfortable and is fully equipped with anything you need for your stay. The view of the lake and the mountains from the condo is magnificent which can also be enjoyed from the outdoor patio. The location is great! A quick walk and you are downtown or at the beach and marina. A short drive and you are at Schweitzer Mountain or Hope Marina. Perfect place to stay for a Sandpoint vacation.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About the owner: We are empty nesters happily living in Northern California; still working full time but dreaming about semi-retirement with the option of spending our summers in Sandpoint. BTW- use of this Tandem bike is included in your rental!
Why the Owner Chose Sandpoint:
We visited Sandpoint and were instantly captivated by its sophisticated simplicity. It is a step back in time to a simpler America but has all of the modern amenities travelers love….GREAT restaurants, hip wine bars, live entertainment and lots of outdoor activities in the midst of beautiful scenery… a winning combination for a relaxing and exciting vacation experience.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We love that our condo is just 30 feet to the water's edge with an unobstructed view of the water and wildlife that play there. We can walk across the street to the marina and rent a boat and dock it right in front of the condo. In the evenings we can walk to the great restaurants, wine bars, concerts, etc that downtown Sandpoint offers.
