We recently stayed at the condo and everything was great! It was nice and clean and stocked with everything you need to have a great vacation. The ocean views from the lanai were fabulous.The central location of this condo in Kihei made it easy walking distance to numerous local amenities, bars, dining and shops. It was great having close access to the beach. The grounds were kept clean and well groomed. Everything was as advertised, so there weren't any surprises. The check-in and check-out process was easy. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

Aloha Bruce Thank you again for the wonderful suite. It was amazing, the view is fantastic, condo is clean, kitchen is well stock. This location is veery centralize, close to all amenities. I would recommend this place, and we would definitely come back to visit.

I wanted to thank you for the use of your wonderful condo! It was everything we could have asked for and way more. The furnishings are so beautiful, it was like staying in a Hawaiian museum! Every day we discovered something new that expressed the beauty and uniqueness of Hawaii. We felt very privileged and honoured to stay and soak up so much beauty, both inside and out. Everything was supplied, and with such abundance! So many dishes, beach supplies; everything! We had all we needed both for in the condo and at the beach. We truly had a wonderful holiday, and staying in your condo made it extra special. The only bad part was leaving....

Excellent accommodation. Contained everything we needed (plus more) for a great stay in Kihei. Easy walking access to nearby restaurants, and a quick five minute jaunt to the beach. Board and kayak rentals at Kalama beach nearby. Was nice to stroll along the main drag and head over to Kamaole beaches in the evenings. Harley rentals across from Kamaole 1 Beach. Consider riding out to Hana for the day. We did and was a great trip.

Perfect for families

We are a family of four, with children aged 11 and 13 and we are used to rent houses and condos in Europe and North America. We really appreciated our one-week stay at this condo. It is very well located on Maui and in Kihei and very, very well equipped. It is not common to have so much glasses and good quality cookware. The air conditioning was also working great. The beach in front of the complex is one of the best we have seen during our vacations in Maui and Oahu. Bruce was also very prompt in answering my questions and emails prior to our stay and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We would return without a doubt!

Perfect Condo for West Maui

Spent a wonderful week here. Condo is beautifully appointed with decorative and practical amenities, perfect location in Kihei. Great for couples or families. Loft area fun for kids with its own bathroom and TV while parents enjoy privacy in downstairs bedroom. Romantic views from lanai (balcony). Convenient to many sights in Kihei, Wailea, and Makena, and a short drive to Lahaina, Wailuku, or Kaanapali. Rental car recommended for getting around this area. Highest recommendation for condos in this area!

Our First trip to Maui

I have to say our first trip to Maui was successful enough that we are planning our second trip next summer. The condo had everything we needed and more. We walked across the street to the beaches every day very clean. The street noise was not an issue for us. Thank goodness the unit has AC for night time use, we are from Texas and this was a life saver. The Condo was clean and pretty well maintained and complex was well kept. Bruce(owner) was super helpful with answering all of our questions and the property management super helpful also. My husband works for the airlines and we already told many of our friends this is the way to go. We will be back to snorkel and hang out on the beaches. Thank You Bruce for sharing your Condo!

Condo in Kihei

We stayed for 13 days of bliss in Kihei. We were about a block away from a great beginners beach for surfing and paddle boarding. Straight across the street was Charley Young beach, which was great for swimming, playing in the sand and watching the sunset every night. It was about a 35 minute drive to Lahaina/Kanapali area. It was about a 15 minute drive south to the best snorkeling on the island. So this Kihei location was a great location for all of our activities. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The lanai was a little small for 5 of us and there was some road noise. We really enjoyed our stay and would do so again.

Recommended for: Families with young children

Fabulous family vacation

Thank you to Bruce for the pre-vacation information and the post -vacation follow-up. We stayed in his lovely condo that has ALL the things a family needs to enjoy the beach, cooking, cleaning, sleeping comfort and serving as a control base for visiting the whole Maui Island (there was guides of the Island aplenty). We didn't have a chance to use the Maui Vista facilities as we were busy from dawn 'till dusk. All I can say is that we booked Bruce condo and another one for another group and the one we stayed in was WAY better. We (2 adults) travelled with 2 children (4 and 11) and my mom (over sixty)... all enjoyed our "Home away from home". Clean and has all the amenities to make our stay worry free. We only had one complain: Not enough time to enjoy more of the hospitality. Again thank you Bruce for letting us stay in your FABULOUS condo. Next time we come back to Maui...it will be to stay at your condo.

Great Vacation at Maui Vista Condo 1415

We had a great vacation at the Maui Vista. Condo was excellent with everything we needed. Clean, well kept, well laid out with lots of space. Our teenagers enjoyed their own bedroom and bathroom. Lots of kitchenware, towels, linen, beach stuff. Pool and tennis courts at the condo were very nice and we used the grills often. The condo has a great ocean view and is right across from the best beach in Kihei. Most of the time we took the 15 min walk to get food at the grocery store. Restaurants are a close walk away. The owners were good to us as was the management company. Thanks for a great vacation.

Great family relaxing

Great condo walking distance to several wonderful beaches - one great for children to practice body boarding. Condo has all beach stuff you need. KItchen is really fully equipped and has spices,etc. We used tennis and pools at condo and the outdoor grill. We did not rent a car except for one day when my husband biked up most of the volcano and rode down from top. We drove. Our only beef was that the office wouldn't hold our luggage until our flight time (was after check out and delayed 6 hrs due to snow in seattle. We had a jogging stroller so would carry groceries home from Foodland in the cargo areas of stroller. We did see whales spouting from the balcony and did see great sunsets each night.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We spent 8 busy days on Maui with our 3 boys. The location had everything we needed (beach toys, noodle, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and lunch cooler). We ate most of our meals at the condo having stopped at Costco the first morning we were on Maui. It saved us a lot of money. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable. We ate every meal on the lanai looking out to the ocean. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful condo.

Very clean, well appointed condo. Very comfortable and close to a great beach. Nice views. Kihei Cafe is great in walking distance. Grocery store is close as well as the post office. Use the concierge service that is offered on site. The launch site for snorkeling at Molokini is a 15-20 minute drive. Had a wonderful time!

Decorated very nice. maybe a little to much stuff for size of condo. [ to many throw rugs.] but a very nice place. It was nice to have the pool so close to the condo. And such a nice beach right across the street. Great grilling area, we used it alot and met many people at. Condo has many extras to offer.

great location

My husband and I recently spent 5 weeks in this unit. The location is very good, easy walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and the beach right across the street. Road noise was not an issue for sleeping. When you close the patio doors at night you are fine. The photos give a very accurate picture of the condo's appearance. The owner was very helpful and easy to deal with. I highly recommend the Kihei Cafe (doesn't look like much from the outside but excellent food for breakfast and lunch), 5 Palms restaurant for a special evening out (dining next to the ocean and wonderful food and service). Of course you should go on a whale watching excursion, there are many different companies to choose from - we went with the Pacific Whale Foundation which was excellent. It was important to us to be able to see the ocean from our lanai and we were able to watch whales right from the condo.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Lovely condo with an excellent location and great view. Included everything we could have asked for. Beach right across the street with many places to eat within a five to ten minute walk in either direction. Would definetely recommend to friends/family and plan to go back again next year.

After researching MANY rentals via VRBO, TripAdvisor and "Maui Revealed", I chose Maui Vista because of location, price and positive reviews. I really relied heavily on the info in "Maui Revelaed" as this was our first trip to Maui and I had no idea where the "best places to stay" were. I was not disappointed with unit #1415 at Maui Vista. Excellent value, fantastic beach right across the street and the condo was everything we expected. Convenient location to exploring the island, or simply walking to grab a quick bite to eat. Would definitely return, and recommend to family and friends. Truly enjoyed our stay ! Thanks!

We arrived back in Calgary yesterday and just want to say a huge thank you for allowing us to use your condo. It far exceeded our expectations. As you know, this was our first trip to Maui and first time using VRBO, so we were a bit nervous, but everything went very well. The condo was perfect for our family with two teenagers as we had them up in the loft with their own washroom, tv and space. Loved the view from the lanai, and enjoyed many beautiful sunsets. The weather was beautiful for the entire vacation and did not get a drop of rain in Kihei. I think one of my favorite aspects of the complex was the bbq. We used it many evenings and got to know others staying at the complex as it was well utilized by all. My husband and son played lots of tennis and I think at least one of us hit the pool each day, but being only steps from a beautiful beach meant we swam there everyday (even if we had gone somewhere else first). Once again, thank you so much, it was an unforgettable time for us.

We had the pleasure to stay in your beautiful condo in Maui. We were blown away by the gorgeous furnishings and convenient location... But most of all, we loved sitting on the lanai, watching the ocean and relaxing. Each morning, we walked down to the beach and enjoyed snorkeling and swimming. We wish we could have stayed longer... Our next trip to your paradise, we'll be bringing family. Thank you for making our vacation so much better than we expected. I can't wait to return. Great place to stay

We stayed and had a wonderful time. The view and location are great. We have stayed in a few condos on Maui, but this was our favorite. The layout, decor and amenities were the best of anywhere we have been. We especially liked having a washer and dryer in the room so we could have clean fresh clothes without having to go out to a public laundry room. Safeway is close by, which is good because we stopped there almost daily for lunch. Nearby beaches and parks are great also. Sitting on the lanai (deck) and watching the ocean while I drank my morning coffee was a highlight of each day. Not to be forgetten were the excellet condo staff who made sure we were well taken care of. We stayed here with 5 adults, and 1 infant and there was plenty of room. You will enjoy your stay if you choose this condo, David and Family
