Best rental ever

Our family recently stayed in this rental and thoroughly enjoyed it. Attractively decorated, well supplied and clean, it provided everything as advertised. The separate bedroom in the loft provides privacy for another individual or couple. The bunk beds are too high for very small children but would work well for teenagers or adults. The sofa hide-a-bed provides sleeping accommodations that work well for young children or another couple. The kitchen is well equipped and they have nice music, videos and games for entertainment. It would be nice if they had wifi, but other than that, the unit provided everything we needed. The pool was very enjoyable, as were the choices of three different hot tubs. Several barbeque units and picnic tables were available for use outside. We look forward to staying here again.

Cozy, clean, and affordable!
Cozy, clean, and affordable!
Love this place! I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone planning a trip to Mammoth. It is very clean and has a nice cabin feel to it. The complex is quiet. The layout is great with a bathroom upstairs and downstairs, and it comfortably sleeps 8 (there were 7 in my group). The condo is in the town near the restaurants and shops, and also within walking distance to the grocery store. Access to Mammoth mountain is a quick drive or bus ride. The saunas and hot tubs, located in the complex, were great after an adventurous day on the mountain. Both were clean. The owners were very helpful, and gave some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. It's a great condo, and I am looking forward to my next stay!

We stayed in this condo in May 2010. Four of us (one couple, two singles). The place is large enough and very comfortable for four, and could handle six no problem. It might get a little crowded with more than 6 unless some of the people are very small. There's a nice wood stove and dry firewood on the porch to keep the condo cozy. They have a keyless entry on the front door which is great - you don't have to worry about losing the keys while skiing. There are numerous restaurants, a grocery store, plus other shopping options within short walking distance. The condo complex has a nice hot tub, but remember that the condo manager either has video monitoring in there, or some sort of spidey sense - as some naked drunk friends staying in another condo can attest. The beds were comfortable and the condo was in good shape. I only had two complaints. One was that we were only given one towel per guest (I was told this in advance, but it didn't register with me when I read the owner's email - bring an extra towel for the hot tub if you want a dry one for the shower). The other was that we ran out of toilet paper during our 4 day stay. We did have some guests for dinner one night, but that's still not an expected problem - luckily the supermarket is close by. The photos seem pretty recent. Note that the upstairs area is split. The bunk bed is in the part of the loft that is open to the downstairs and the queen bed is in its own "room" that is partitioned off from the bunk area and has a window down to the living room. It stays nice and warm upstairs too. I'd stay here again, if I had 4-6 people in our group. But I'd bring my own towel and ask the owner to put in some extra TP.
