There are endless activities all year long. Unlimited hiking and biking trails are within easy access. Public beaches and launch ramps are located near by. I recently had the opportunity to spend a fantastic week at the Emerald Circle rental in Homewood. It was a great cabin to rent. The location is awesome – close to the South shore for gambling and playing; close to the North shore for gambling, skiing and classy meals; very close to Tahoe City for shopping and eating; right near the Homewood ski lift! This cabin is also walking distance from the Rubicon Trail for anyone who likes to hike any season of the year or off road in the summer and fall. All this and it is in a great, quiet neighborhood. The cabin has beautiful wood floors, and feels warm, cozy and inviting from the moment you walk in the door. The kitchen has a classic stove that really feels like you are in someone’s mom’s kitchen! Two story with great views from all the windows! I will definitely enjoy returning to Emerald Circle!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The cabin was beautiful and the fireplace was a perfect way to get cozy and warm up after a long day on the mountain. Also, your directions made it really easy to find. Next time we plan another overnight trip to Tahoe, we will definitely be booking with you. :) Thanks for letting us use your home for the weekend!Did you find this review helpful? We had a great time, snow was perfect when we arrived and though we’d love to have it snow a little more while we were there, we were able to take advantage of your large front yard and built snowmen, a fort/tunnel and a sledding ramp. Both adults and kids had lots of fun. (Made good use of your snow shovels on the fort and ramp and the kids LOVED the snowball maker!) The cabin was very comfortable and though I was a little anxious about the manually lit stove and oven, it turned out that my sister and sister-in-law (both great cooks) fell in love with your antique stove/oven and prepared several delicious meals on it...They even used the “well” with much success! I guess they said that Rachel Ray on the Food Channel have the same one in red...My sister-in-law was so intrigued with the stove/oven that she spent an afternoon looking it up online and even found an online cookbook by the manufacturer! If you ever want to sell that range, you’ll have to let us know!!! :-) Our men loved that there was internet service and that there were TV sets in the living room and all bedrooms except for one. The older kids even loved climbing up on the loft in the upstairs bedroom even though it was obviously not set up to be used. We only had to run to the store once and checked out Tahoe City and had lunch at Rosie’s Café in town. It was an easy drive so no complaints except for the parking lot at Safeway being just crazy so good thing we only needed to go once! Thanks much for the rental of your cabin. And we will definitely keep your cabin in mind for future trips especially if you are planning to upgrade the half bath to a full bath!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I had such a nice time at your cabin; I wanted to tell you about it. The location is perfect - a few blocks from the lake, a few blocks from the open forest and only a short drive to the ski slopes & some great restaurants. The cabin is also great - lots of room, satellite TV, Wi-Fi Internet and a fantastic kitchen. Thanks for providing a fun, safe, comfortable place to stay. I hope to return soon.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: After spending many years vacationing on Tahoe's west shore, our family has finally purchased a cabin. We have plans to remodel and upgrade the cabin in the future. we love sharing the cabin with our friends and family.
Why the Owner Chose Homewood:
I love Lake Tahoe, it is beautiful and relaxing. 'The west shore is the best shore.' You are close to the activities in south lake, and even closer to the skiing and shopping on the north side. Homewood has all the amenities necessary to feel at home, but quite enough to enjoy the mountain feel.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
There is so much to do in Lake Tahoe. hiking, biking, off-roading, shopping, and eating! Multiple public beaches and boat launch ramps are near bye.
