Most memorable family trip
Most memorable family trip
We stayed at the cabin for several days in August, 2013, before heading up to GNP. We will never forget the Crazy Mountains, or the hospitality of the hosts. Barbara warned us that the cabin was not meant to accommodate a family, but she did make an exception and allow our family of 4 to stay. Although it was a bit cramped, we didn't mind at all, and the whole family was appreciative of the opportunity to stay in such a lovely place. The cabin was very clean, with a cute kitchen that provided all the necessary appliances and utensils. We ate most of our meals on the deck overlooking the mountains. The environment and absence of distractions encouraged lots of imaginary play by the children. The air smelled clean and delicious, the sunsets were unequaled, and the mountains and nearby river/falls provided exceptional hiking, picnicking and splashing around options with minimal human traffic. We even went fishing with the hosts and the kids caught a fish, which we ate for dinner. We will never forget our time in this remarkable place.

THANK YOU FOR THE BEST WEEK OF MY YEAR!
This fall was the 3rd stay at Barbara's and Lee's cabin. For me, the cabin provides luxury accommodations in a wilderness setting. It's always very clean, well appointed and turn-key ready when I arrive and provides all the comforts of home (including satellite TV) despite its rather remote location. Lee and Barbara always do everything possible to make sure that I have a safe and enjoyable stay! Thank you both again so much for all that you do! Bruce C. from Bermuda Dunes, CA

Our stay was lovely. The cabin was supplied with am enties, and extras. The wrap around deck was perfect for viewing sunsets,to wildlife;not to mention the mountain views! The hosts were friendly and always available for any needs, or just to chat. We recommend to any couple looking for a quiet getaway,to travelers who just love nature and the beautiful trails and falls.

MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN THE WORLD.Guest comment entered by owner
MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN THE WORLD.
Most beautiful place in the world. Well off the beaten path. My wife and I traveled out west to Montana last July. We stayed the entire week at the Crazy Mountain Ranchcabin where the mountains meet the prairies. Enjoyed sitting outside in the peace & quite reading & taking in the scenery. If you enjoy fishing, the Big Timber Creek is near by as well as the Yellowstone River. Both hold nice Browns and Rainbows. The property the cabin rests on is about a half hour drive off the main highway, allowing us to feel as though we were truely hiding away from the rest of the world. The cabin is very clean & has a kitchen, sitting area, bedroom & bathroom. The hosts are gracious and very accomodating. If you are looking to stay in the area don't pass this place up. Our rating: EXCELLLENT - 5* Darren from Saint Clair Shores, Michigan

Cabin Sweet Cabin
Cabin Sweet Cabin
This was our 3rd stay in the Crazy Mountain Hideaway Cabin. Although this was a much shorter stay for us, we still had a fantastic time & were very relaxed by the time we left. We enjoyed the new upgrades Lee & Barbara did in the cabin like the very unique , beautiful new kitchen, the cute little bathroom and the new Cowman Room! We loved all! Managed to get in some hiking & sightseeing. Nelly (Lee & Barbara's Collie) still remembered us & knew we had treats for her. The next trip will most definitely be longer than 5 nights. More than ever, my heart is in Montana!! (specifically the Hideaway Cabin)

A piece of heaven!
A piece of heaven!
Stayed for two nights and this is everything it says and more. The owners are wonderful and available if you should have any questions. The rental is very clean and rustic. The views are amazing and it is very quiet. A close drive to the Crazy Mountains and forest. Visited the water fall which is a must for those who like the outdoors. We will be going back again for another visit. Highly recommended for a get away to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Jay and I want to thank you for making our 2012 vacation one we will always remember! The cabin is perfect, the surroundings breathtaking and the hosts the most wonderful! We can tell, you love the land. We have never met two people who truly want to share what they have with complete strangers. They will get the CM Hideaway Cabin, we will stay at the CM Ranchcabin. All our best and thank you again!
