  What can I say that has not been already mentioned below on the other reviews! This Condo's location on the island, and in the complex itself couldn't be much better. Other regular visitors we talked to on the grounds mentioned that we were living in the "High Rent District" of Lae Nani. Being on the ground floor and walking out onto the lani is like having an extra room. We spent the majority of our time there playing games that we found in the cabinet in the living room. I was also quite suprised by how quiet it was at night. We slept great in the King size bed. We are already reserving dates to return next year! Dean & Teresa

  From the moment we arrived, we knew this condo was someplace very special! First, the landscaping and location of the property are absolutely breathtaking. The view from the lanai, sounds of the ocean waves crashing on the shore and the songs of the colorful birds singing in chorus made us reach new levels of relaxation. Sharon and Dennis seemed to have thought of every comfort and convenience to make their guests maximize their vacation enjoyment. We played board games, read books from a well-stocked bookcase, used boogie boards, beach chairs and mats - all made available for our use by our gracious hosts. We are so happy we found this special "home away from home" and hope to return very soon!

  We absolutely loved the condo. It was in a good locale for us, roomy and WOW the view and proximity to the water was to die for. We loved sitting on the lanai in the morning with coffee and tea before setting out for our day's activities and then again in the evening. Loved the sound of the surf day and night. The grounds, gardens and entire property was beautifully maintained. The condo was well appointed and we took advantage of everything from the updated kitchen appliances to the canvas shopping bags, beach towels, beach chairs, noodles, small coolers and even some of the snorkeling equipment. We would definitely recommend this condo to friends and hope to return on another trip to Kauai.

  This condo was perfect in every way! The condo is in a great location that is 5 minutes from a grocery store or 5 minutes from a few different GREAT restaurants and shopping! The condo is 25 steps from the ocean and a perfect beachfront location. (it really doesn't get better than this!) The kitchen has everything you need, the bed is extremely comfortable and the daybed is in a perfect spot to just lay down in the morning and watch the sun rise! Sharon was extremely accommodating. Our flight changed from the original schedule and Sharon let us stay in the condo later than the regular check out time. She was quick to reply back with any questions we had and gave us great tips on Kauai. We will definitely be back to Kauai and we will definitely be back to this perfect location!

  We had a wonderful time at Lae Nani 513. It is one of the best situated condos on the property, and eating dinner on the lanai overlooking the beach and waves each night was a highlight. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations and provided for a comfortable and convenient home base to explore the island. We also stayed for a few days in Hanalei Bay, but we liked the central location of Lae Nani because it provided for easy day trips to both the north and the south. Sharon's generous use of all the beach equipment was a huge plus - made for carefree and fun beach trips every day. Every morning we went for a jog along the shore, followed by a dip in the ocean at our beach, and a fresh fruit smoothy on the lanai - heaven! There were a lot of families with kids at Lae Nani, but we were never bothered by noise at all. On July 4th there was a low-key gathering on the lawn because this beach provided one of the best views of the fireworks in Lihue as any private property (we laid out on the grass and watched the fireworks!) and kids lit their own smaller fireworks on our beach - was a fun sight to watch. Lastly, Sharon was very accommodating of our late plane flight, allowing for an amazing last day of our trip. We highly recommend this place and hope to return someday!

  This condo is right at the ocean's edge, right across a beautiful lawn. Nice swim spot and great place to walk along the water's edge. We did a lot of hiking, swimming, and sightseeing. The unit was well set up with a great blender, wi fi, nice collection of books, and a very comfortable feel! Walk to local eating spots. But we mostly bought our food and used the bbq by the pool. Really enjoyed our week. We look forward to two weeks next year! Would highly recommend.

  This was our first trip to Kauai and we loved our stay at this condo! Perfectly situated at the far end of the complex on the ground floor, it was a stones throw from the beach. I can't imagine a better place to sit and watch the waves with our tropical morning smoothies than the lanai, with its completely unobstructed views! Everything about the condo was comfortable, and we never wanted for anything. The bed was amazing, I wish I could have taken it home with me. All in all it made for an extremely relaxing stay on the island, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

  We would like to keep “cloud 9” a secret but that is just not right. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here but it could have easily been our honeymoon. This decompression chamber is out of this world. We haven’t slept better than this in many years. We were reluctant to leave this incredible condo and vistas to avail ourselves of the many world class activities all within 45 minutes or less. The whale watching and snorkelling is a must. We saw 40-60 humpback whales and calves, sea turtles and countless dolphins. Villages and shopping are very nearby (about 5-10 minutes).. Spectacular and affordable golf from 5 minutes to an hour. Everything works at Sharon and Denis’s “Cloud # 9”. From tranquility to security....from beach (30 yards away) to pool (50 yards away)....from kitchen to lanai to bedroom and parking, flat screen TV’s and all furnishings. Our best accommodation ever and now our # 1 destination. PLEASE KEEP IT A SECRET!

  Kauai is our favorite island. Lae Nani is the perfect location. Building 5 is the best, and this unit is ideal. The view is awesome, and all the mirrors make it even better. No matter where you look you have an excellent view of the ocean. We loved listening to the ocean & watching the waves. It is so convenient to walk from the lanai to the ocean or the pool. They have all the amenities and the king size bed is a bonus. The complex is very quiet and we enjoyed every minute. The owners are very nice. We are looking forward to returning next year...and hopefully for many years to come.

  I agree with the previous comments posted - this place was awesome and I was so depressed when I had to leave and come home. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon a couple months ago, and literally could not ask for more of a for a better experience! I had never used VRBO before and was nervous, but Sharon helped to ease that. She had excellent communication and I felt like it was a great deal and probably one of the best places to stay on the island as far as the location on the island and the quality of the room in the complex. The condo was exactly as she has described it, and really even better than I hoped it would be! There was plenty of grocery stores right nearby and the Coconut marketplace was great, they had hula shows, a farmer's market and a lot of neat shops and places to eat. There was a lot of great guide books, maps, audio, video and computer hookups. The pool was great and the shoreline was wonderful. We did a lot of adventuring and this was a great place to come back to after a long day. There was even a nice running path close by so my wife and I could go on our morning runs. All and all one of the best experiences in my life and I will never forget it. I hope to come back on our 5th anniversary!
