Come visit a vacation get-away condo just off the Beech Mountain Parkway and enjoy the wide variety of activities including skiing that is less than a one minute drive away from the parking area at Ski Beech; you can walk there as quickly and come out at the dual lift above the quad-lift.
2 Sit-on-tip kayaks are available for use
If you prefer, there is Sugar Mountain, Ski Hawksnest, or Appalachian Ski Mountain.
Firewood is provided and we'll split the wood and load the fireplace for the first fire. Walk out onto the upper or lower decks of this Beech Mountain vacation house where you can watch the stars or have views over to black diamond slopes. There is everything you'll need to have a good time so do not bring a thing except your skis, boots, coats, and food.
The Beech Mountain vacation rental includes a large washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board if you choose to dress up, but casual dress is okay at all establishments.
There are a few sleds to take to the top of the mountain to enjoy the sledding area by the Chamber of Commerce.

The condo was very clean and well appointed. The owner provides almost everything you would need including plenty of very dry firewood. The condo is cozy and a family of 4 with grown kids just fit although it was tight. Everything was in good working order from dishwasher to washer/drier and the owner brought up a crock pot and waffle maker while we were there. Owner was very hands on and checked on us several times on day of arrival and throughout the stay. Easy to get to, just off beech mtn pkwy, but not really walking distance from slopes if one is carrying boots, poles, skis, and there is snow. Snow plows always clear the roads well up to Ski Beech and the condo is on the cleared side so it's an easy 5 minute drive as advertised. No wi-fi in the house, and unless you have verizon, you're going to be out of touch.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Why the Owner Chose Beech Mountain:
This property is just a short drive to the ski slopes or you can walk there if you don't care to drive. We have preferred Beech Mt ski resort because they have a high-speed quad lift that other ski resorts do not have. The views are outstanding from the top of the ski resort and it's always Christmas time up here. We have Beech Mt. Club membership enabling privileges to the swimming pool, tennis courts, and golf course.

We make the extra effort to ensure that you have a good time here at Beech Mt and offer extras to save our guests money. There is a a supply of kids' winter apparel including gloves, ski pants, bibs, etc. that may fit your children and can save our Florida guests some money by not having to purchase clothing that will only be worn when you come skiing. We supply firewood unlike most rental properties and have sleds and snow blades available for our guests.
