We had an amazing week at RIDGE GARDENS.It was everything the pictures show and more .It was clean and fresh and stocked with everything we needed for a very enjoyable vacation. The owner came over and introduced himself and said , if we have any questions or need anything he was right next door. There were 5 adults and two children There was plenty of room .The children loved the play room and the beautiful back yard. There were home made cookies and some candies on the kitchen counter. We were close to everything we wanted to see and do. We would definitely stay there again.

The pictures provided are nothing compared to the real thing. We drove 3 hours but every minute was worth it. We rented this house for a weekend get away with friends. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil you need to prepare a meal. The house was very modern with satellite and wifi available for our use. Everything was clean and just perfect. Our friends couldn't thank us enough for picking this rental. The owner answered any and all questions and even came down to say hello during our stay. Freshly baked cookies awaited us upon our arrival and I must say we couldn't have asked for anything more. I'm hoping to return soon with my kids for a family stay. I would highly recommend this stay for any occasion.

This was a perfect vacation house! It was a great place to have a family reunion. Family came from NJ and Virginia. There was lots of room for the children and a great outdoor play ship for them. The house was spacious and clean. There was enough room for everyone. The house is close to the attractions in the area. We loved watching the horse and buggies go past the house. The owner is very nice and if you need something he is quick to provide you with your request. I would not hesitate to rent this house again! I highly recommend this house.

Making the reservation was very easy, the owner was very responsive, provided all needed information as we planned our weekend. We used the home for a weekend meeting place for my extended family. The home was just as we saw on the internet and the wonderful reviews. The home was very clean, loved the open layout, all amenities we needed were there, loved the pool table/air hockey table. We experienced snow while we were there and the owner made sure we were taken care of, the driveway got plowed, and we enjoyed playing outside, it was just wonderful. I would definetly recommend this property. I too worry though like one other review that word will spread on how wonderful this place is and it will be hard to get in. We truly had a great time! Appreciated the extra tables as well. We played games all weekend, worked on puzzles and those tables were a great help. All the children (teenage age) enjoyed the place. There was space for those who wanted space. Everyone agreed that we want to return. We spent the majority of our time at the house. We ventured out to a furniture store and bookstore but our priority was to be together as a family. Highly recommend this place!

Family Christmas

Ridge Garden was the perfect place for our early family Christmas. The house is lovely and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The owners gave it some very nice personal touches (there were cookies and chocolates there when we arrived, which was very nice (and thoughtful) after a long car trip). We had four families, a total of 8 adults and 4 little ones. There was plenty of space (the house is very big, yet very cozy). All four bedrooms are very nicely sized. We didn't feel cramped at all. The listing is very accurate. We had everything we needed for a nice family dinner. It was just like being in our own home. My only recommendation would be if you have children who are still learning to walk to bring a safety gate because it is a split level house with stairs. But it's the perfect house for children because it's so spacious with plenty of room to play and has a great backyard! If you have older children there is a very nice pool table/air hockey game. Even though it was winter, we were able to spend some time outside. The backyard is lovely and has a great play area for kids. This would be a great place to stay in the spring/summer/fall as well. It's also extremely close to Kitchen Kettle Village, which is one of our favorite places. I would highly recommend this property to others and would definitely stay here again!

Just returned from a long weekend with extended family . . . the house worked perfectly! There was plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved the pool/air hockey table. Very clean, very spacious, outdoor BBQ worked great. Basic supplies were provided (dish soap, DW soap, hand soap, trash bags) and the kitchen had everything you'd want EXCEPT for a bottle opener/corkscrew . . . should bring your own. The house is very close to Old Philadelphia Pike where there's a lot of shopping and other things to do. Sam was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. Would definitely rent this house again!

There were 13 of us who stayed at the house, all guys. The house was excellent and I would definitely rent it again in a heart beat. Here are all the positives and frankly, I can't think of any negatives: - It was very spacious with lots of room to spread out. - The table sat all 13 of us at once - The kitchen is a lot nicer than the picture on this website - The beds were comfortable - The house is well taken care of and very clean - The owner was responsive to all of our needs, there were even cookies there for us when we arrived. - The house has a great backyard and would be good for families or a few families to share. - The house is off the beaten path but not too far from some main Lancaster attractions. - I would recommend renting this house with zero reservations and I am going to do so again next year.
